📋 Documentación Obligatoria

Debes llevar un documento de identidad oficial que verifique tu:

🎫 El Día de la Competencia

Acreditación (Check-in)

Al llegar, dirígete a la mesa de registro. Allí recibirás tu identificador personalizado que contiene:

• Tu nombre
• Los eventos en los que participas
• El grupo al que perteneces por cada evento
• Tus asignaciones como juez (qué grupos te toca ayudar)

Nuevos Competidores: En la mesa de registro ocurrirá la verificación de documentos. Una vez verificados, recibirán su identificación.

Tutoriales

Antes del inicio de la competencia se realizarán tutoriales para competidores y jueces (ver horario). Todos están invitados, especialmente:

• Cualquiera que quiera repasar los procedimientos

👥 Responsabilidades de los Competidores

¡Todos debemos ayudar!

Las competencias funcionan gracias a la colaboración de todos los participantes. Por eso, todos los competidores deben estar disponibles para ser jueces, scramblers y runners.

En tu identificador vendrán indicados los grupos en los que tienes asignada esta labor. Es muy importante que cumplas con estas asignaciones. Si no te presentas a ayudar, podrías ser descalificado del evento.

¿No sabes cómo juzgar?

No te preocupes:

• Asiste al tutorial de nuevos competidores
• Puedes ver este video explicativo
• Siempre puedes pedir ayuda a un juez experimentado o al Delegado

🧩 Sobre los Puzzles

Responsabilidad

Eres responsable de traer tus propios puzzles para competir. Asegúrate de tenerlos listos cuando te llamen.

Puzzles permitidos

• ✅ Puzzles estándar (de colores sólidos, stickers o stickerless)
• ✅ Puzzles con lubricación, magnetos o modificaciones internas
• ✅ Un logo en una pieza central (o en piezas específicas según el puzzle)

Puzzles no permitidos

• ❌ Puzzles electrónicos (smart cubes)
• ❌ Puzzles con acabados de fibra de carbono que oculten los colores
• ❌ Puzzles con partes transparentes que revelen información
• ❌ Puzzles con texturas que distingan piezas (para eventos a ciegas)

Cuida tus puzzles

Ponle una señal distintiva a tus puzzles (ej. una marca debajo de un centro, una liga de color, o guárdalos en una bolsa/estuche). Es muy común que los competidores confundan sus puzzles con los de otros, ya que muchos se ven iguales.

No dejes puzzles abandonados: No dejes tus puzzles en las mesas de mezclas o en las estaciones de resolución. Mantenlos siempre contigo o en tu mochila.

⏱️ Durante la Competencia

Grupos y llamados

• Cada ronda se divide en grupos para que la competencia sea más eficiente. Revisa tu gafete para saber a qué grupo perteneces en cada evento.
• Los grupos serán llamados en orden. Cuando escuches tu grupo, debes acercarte inmediatamente a la estación con tu puzzle resuelto.
• Habrá un último llamado para cada grupo. Si no te presentas después de este llamado, podrías perder la oportunidad de competir en ese evento.
• Te recomendamos estar en el área de competencia al menos 15 minutos antes de la hora estimada de tu grupo.

Durante las resoluciones

• Silencio: Especialmente durante los eventos a ciegas (Blindfolded), se requiere silencio total. Cualquier ruido puede desconcentrar a los competidores. Anunciaremos cuándo comienza y termina cada periodo de silencio.
• Distancias: Los espectadores deben mantenerse al menos a 1.5 metros de distancia de las mesas de resolución (Regulación 7b).
• Fotos sin flash: Está prohibido usar flash en todo el recinto, ya que distrae enormemente a los competidores.
• Comunicación: Mientras una ronda está en progreso, no discutas las mezclas (scrambles) ni tus soluciones con otros competidores del mismo grupo.

Resultados oficiales

Después de la competencia (generalmente dentro de una semana), los resultados se publicarán en tu perfil WCA. Recibirás un correo electrónico con tu WCA ID si es tu primera competencia.

Paciencia

Los resultados son ingresados manualmente por humanos. Si no ves tus resultados inmediatamente, espera unos minutos.

Accreditation (Check-in)

👥 Competitor Responsibilities

Everyone must help!

Competitions work thanks to the collaboration of all participants. Therefore, all competitors must be available to serve as judges, scramblers, and runners.

Your identification badge will indicate the groups for which you have been assigned these tasks. It is very important that you fulfill these assignments. Failure to show up to help could result in disqualification from the event.

🧩 About Puzzles

Responsibility

You are responsible for bringing your own puzzles to compete with. Make sure you have them ready when called.

Permitted Puzzles

• ✅ Standard puzzles (solid colors, stickers, or stickerless)

Take Care of Your Puzzles

Put a distinctive mark on your puzzles (e.g., a mark under a center piece, a colored band, or store them in a bag/case). It is very common for competitors to mix up their puzzles with others, as many look alike.

Don't leave puzzles unattended: Do not leave your puzzles on the mixing tables or solving stations. Always keep them with you or in your backpack.

⏱️ During the Competition

Groups and Calls

• Each round is divided into groups to make the competition more efficient. Check your badge to know which group you belong to for each event.
• Groups will be called in order. When you hear your group called, you must go immediately to the station with your solved puzzle.
• There will be a final call for each group. If you do not show up after this call, you may miss your opportunity to compete in that event.
• We recommend being in the competition area at least 15 minutes before your group's estimated time.

During Solves

• Silence: Especially during blindfolded events, total silence is required. Any noise can distract competitors. We will announce when each silence period begins and ends.
• Distance: Spectators must stay at least 1.5 meters away from the solving tables (Regulation 7b).
• Photos without flash: Using flash is prohibited throughout the venue, as it greatly distracts competitors.
• Communication: While a round is in progress, do not discuss the scrambles or your solutions with other competitors in the same group.

Official Results

After the competition (usually within a week), the results will be published on your WCA profile. You will receive an email with your WCA ID if it is your first competition.

Results are entered manually by humans. If you don't see your results immediately, please wait a few minutes.
