This competition is part of the Zottegem 2023 Competition Series. Other competitions in this Series are: Note: You can submit a registration for all competitions in a Series, but only one of those registrations can be confirmed and accepted. You will only be allowed to compete in one of the Series competitions!

The base registration fee for this competition is €12 (Euro).
If your registration is cancelled before you will be refunded 50% of your registration fee.

No on the spot registrations will be accepted.
Any spectator can attend for free.

This is a twin competition together with Zottegem Morning 2023. The morning session still has open spots, so we recommend you register for that one instead!
You can only register for one of these competitions! If you register for both competitions, we will accept the first registration and delete the other.
The entry fees for competitors is €12, guests can attend free of charge.
How to register for the waiting list
- Fill in the form on this site.
- Pay the entry fee. You can only pay by credit card via the WCA website!
- You are now on the waiting list. Whenever a spot becomes available, we will send the first person on the waiting list an e-mail. You can claim the spot if you reply within 48 hours after we send you the e-mail.
Cancellation
If you registered but are unable to attend for some reason, you can cancel your registration by sending an email to the organizers. If you do this before the 3th of November at 8PM (the Friday before the competition), we will refund half of your entry fee.
Change events
You can change the events you are registered for on on this site, until the 3th of November at 8PM.

Als dit je eerste WCA competitie is:
- Maak een account of login op de WCA website
- Schrijf je in voor de wedstrijd (tab "Algemene informatie" op de wedstrijdpagina)
- Kijk even naar deze video, die uitlegt hoe een wedstrijd verloopt. Er zal ook een uitleg zijn voor nieuwe deelnemers net voor 3x3x3.
Competitors for each event are divided into groups. Some events (like 2x2 and 3x3) will have a lot of competitors and therefore many groups, while others (like megaminx) will only have 2 groups. At the competition, we will announce when a group starts so you can bring up your puzzle to the scrambling table and place it on the scorecard that has your name.
When arriving at the competition, go to the registration desk to receive the overview of the groups you are competing in and judging, scrambling or running for, during the first rounds. This is the minimum amount you should be helping out. If you want to help out more, you are always welcome to fill an empty judge seat. We appreciate this enormously as it helps us running the competition smoothly!
Competitions in Belgium are run with the help of Speedcubing Belgium's team. Our goal is to increase the number and size of competitions. If you want to organize a competition yourself, or just help us out a bit during a competition weekend, feel free get in touch!

Per deelnemer zal €6 gedoneerd worden aan Stappen naar een droom, een goed doel ten voordele van het Kinderrevalidatiecentrum van het UZ in Gent.
Er zal tijdens de competite ook drankjes en snoepzakjes verkocht worden ten voordele van dit goede doel.
For each competitor, €6 will be donated to the charity Stappen naar een droom.
Drinks and candy bags will also be sold during the competition in aid of this charity.

De zaal ligt vlakbij het station van Zottegem met goede verbindingen richting Brussel en Gent.
Er is ruime parkeerplaats aan de school.
Voor de deelnemers van de ochtendcompetitie sturen we nog per e-mail een bestellingsformulier voor broodjes te bestellen.
The room is located near the Zottegem train station with good connections to Brussels and Ghent.
There is parking at the school.
We will send an order form for sandwiches by email to participants of the morning competition.
Time limit
If you reach the time limit during your solve, the judge will stop you and your result will be DNF (see Regulation A1a4).
Format
The format describes how to determine the ranking of competitors based on their results. The list of allowed formats per event is described in Regulation 9b. See Regulation 9f for a description of each format.
