Der Veranstaltungsort öffnet erst um 10 Uhr, jedoch werden Teilnehmer und Gäste vorher schon hineingelassen. Jedermann ist für den Zuttrit zu den Swiss Nationals berechtigt, jedoch können nur Schweizer Preise gewinnen. Der Eintritt zum Technorama ist inbegriffen.
The venue opens only at 10 am, but competitors and attendants will be allowed to enter beforehand. Swiss Nationals is open to citizens from all countries, but only Swiss citizens are eligible to win trophies. Entry to the Science Center is included for registered guests and competitors.
Le musée dans lequel a lieu la compétition ouvre seulement à 10 heures, cependant les compétiteurs et accompagnants pourront accéder à la salle plus tôt. Toute personne est autorisée à participer, mais les récompenses ne seront distribuées qu'aux compétiteurs de nationalité suisse.

Swiss Nationals 2017 ist eine Speedcubing-Competition die von Swisscubing und Thomas Stadler oganisiert wird.
Als WCA-Delegierte werden Reto Bubendorf und Oleg Gritsenko vor Ort sein,

Vor der Competition können sich alle neue Teilnehmer mit der offizieller Stoppuhr "Stackmat" vertraulich machen.
Alle Würfelmarken sind erlaubt solange sie den WCA-Regeln entsprechen.
Swiss Nationals 2017 is a Rubik's Cube competition organised by Speedcubeshop.ch and Swisscubing, it is delegated by Reto Bubendorf and Oleg Gritsenko.

Results of the championship will be added to the official WCA World Rankings, and winners will be National Champion 2017 for their respective event.
At the start of the competition, all competitors can familiarize with the official timing equipment : the Stackmat timer.
Any puzzle brand may be used during the competition, as long as it complies with the WCA regulations.

Toutes marques de cubes sont autorisées tant qu'elles sont conformes aux règles de la WCA.

Das Technorama Swiss Science Center befindet sich in Oberwintherthur, in der Nähe von Zürich.
Zu Fuss sind es ungefähr 10 Minuten bis zum nächsten Bahnhof, jedoch kann mann auch den Bus Nummer 5 nehmen der gleich vor dem Technorama hält.
Zusätzlich gibt es einen grossen Parkplatz vor dem Gebäude.
The Swiss Science center is located in Oberwinterthur, near Zurich.
It is about 10 walking minutes away from the nearest train station, however you can take bus number 5 which stops just nearby.
Additionally, There is a big parking in front of the building.

Le chemin à pied depuis la gare la plus proche est d'environ 10 minutes, cepedant il est aussi possible de prendre le bus numéro 5.
En outre, un grand parking est à disposition devant le bâtiment.
Das Organisationsteam der Swiss Nationals empfiehlt die Übernachtung im Depot195 für 32Fr. im Mehrbettenzimmer. Bei Interesse Mail an booking@depot195.ch mit dem Stichwort "Speedcubing", dann werdet ihr zu diesem Vorzugspreis auf die Zimmer verteilt. Für 38Fr. ist Frühstück inklusive.
The Swiss Nationals organization's team recommends spending the night at Depot195 in a dorm room, for 32.- CHF. If you are interested, mail to booking@depot195.ch with the keyword "Speedcubing", you will then share a room with other speedcubers (4-8 guests). For 38.- CHF, Breakfast is included.
L'équipe organisatrice des championnats suisses recommande de loger au Depot195 (pas loin de la gare) pour 32.- CHF par nuit dans une salle de dortoir. Si vous êtes intéressés, écrivez par mail à booking@depot195.ch avec le mot-clé "Speedcubing", vous serez alors distribués dans une chambre avec d'autres speedcubeurs (de 4 à 8 personnes). Pour 38.- CHF, le petit déjeuner sera inclus.
Die Registration kostet 15 CHF
Angemeldete Gäste bezahlen einmalig 15CHF und erhalten damit für beide Tage auch freien Eintritt ins Museum.
Registration fee is set at 15.- (or 15 €)
Guests who are registered also pay CHF 15, get a name plate and are allowed to visit the rest of the museum with this sign.

Time limit
If you reach the time limit during your solve, the judge will stop you and your result will be DNF (see Regulation A1a4).
Cutoff
The result to beat to proceed to the second phase of a cutoff round (see Regulation 9g).
Format
The format describes how to determine the ranking of competitors based on their results. The list of allowed formats per event is described in Regulation 9b. See Regulation 9f for a description of each format.
