Informationen für Neulinge
Falls dies dein erstes WCA Turnier sein sollte, beachte bitte die folgenden Punkte:
Alle Neulinge sind dazu verpflichtet ein Ausweisdokument an der Anmeldung vorzuzeigen (Regulation 2e)). Aus dem Dokument müssen Name, Nationalität und Geburtsdatum hervorgehen.
Alle Neulinge sind eindringlich gebeten, am Tutorial (siehe Zeitplan) teilzunehmen.
Jeder Teilnehmer sollte bereits vor der Meisterschaft mindestens einmal die offiziellen Regeln der WCA gelesen haben. Zusätzlich ist ein Blick in das WCA Competition Tutorial mehr als ratsam für alle Neulinge!
Keine Angst: während des Turniers besteht die Möglichkeit, sich mit dem offiziellen Equipment (Stackmat-Timer) vertraut zu machen und Fragen zu stellen.
Bei wichtigen Fragen vor dem Turnier kannst du dich gerne an das Organisationsteam wenden.
Live Ergebnisse sind über WCA Live verfügbar. Nach dem Wettkampf werden alle Ergebnisse in die Datenbank der WCA hochgeladen, und auf dieser Seite einzusehen sein.

Newcomer information
If this is your first WCA competition, please pay attention to the following:
According to Regulation 2e), all newcomers are required to bring some form of identification document that shows name, citizenship and date of birth.
All newcomers are urgently asked to attend the Tutorial (see schedule).
Every competitor should have read the official WCA regulations at least once before attending the competition! A more condensed version of the important regulations can be found at the WCA Competition Tutorial.
Don't be afraid: there will also be time to test the equipment (for example the official timing device, the Stackmat timer) and discuss the rules if you have questions at the competition.
Feel free to contact the organizer if you have any uncertainties.
Live results are available via WCA Live. All results will later be uploaded to the WCA database after the competition, and will be available right here.

Der Wettbewerb findet an zwei verschiedenen Orten statt.
Der Veranstalltungsort für Donnerstag und Freitag ist das Georg-Bickel-Haus.
Am Samstag und Sonntag findet der Wettbewerb in der Sonnberg-Grundschule statt. Der Raum ist im hinteren Gebäudeteil im ersten Stock, der Zugang ist über eine Treppe außen am Gebäude.
Zur Haltestelle Laudenbach (Bergstr.) fährt die RB 68 (Richtung Frankfurt) stündlich von Heidelberg über Laudenbach (Bergstr.) nach Frankfurt. Von der Haltestelle aus sind es ca. 700 Meter zur Venue (über Schillerstraße).
Parkplätze sind auf dem Gelände vorhanden.
In Laudenbach und Umgebung gibt es einige Hotels, z.B.:

The competition uses two different venues
All events on Thursday and Friday will take place in the Georg-Bickel-Haus.
Saturday and Sunday will be held in the Sonnberg-Grundschule. The room is on the first floor in the back, reachable through a metal staircase at the outside of the building.
You can take the line RB 68 from Heidelberg over Laudenbach (Bergstr.) to Frankfurt every hour. It's approximately a 700m walk from the station Laudenbach (Bergstr.) to the venue (over Schillerstraße).
There are parking options at the venue.

Beim Turnier wird es eine kleine Würfel-Tauschbörse geben, in der Ihr eure unbenutzten oder alten Cubes zum Verkauf oder Tausch anbieten könnt. Wenn Ihr Cubes oder Zubehör habt, die Ihr nicht mehr braucht und verkaufen möchtet, bringt sie zum Wettbewerb mit.

There will be a cube exchange meet at the tournament where you can offer your unused or old cubes for sale or trade. If you have cubes or accessories you no longer need and would like to sell, bring them to the competition.
This competition will also hold unofficial events. The results will be recorded through Cubing Contests, and will then be added to the rankings.

Time limit
If you reach the time limit during your solve, the judge will stop you and your result will be DNF (see Regulation A1a4).
A cumulative time limit may be enforced (see Regulation A1a2).
A cumulative time limit may be enforced across rounds (see Guideline A1a2++).
Cutoff
The result to beat to proceed to the second phase of a cutoff round (see Regulation 9g).
Format
The format describes how to determine the ranking of competitors based on their results. The list of allowed formats per event is described in Regulation 9b. See Regulation 9f for a description of each format.
