Please Be Quiet
This is not a typical speed solving competition, as blindfolded events and Fewest Moves are the only events. Blindfolded events require a significant amount of learning, practice and concentration. Fewest Moves is an exam-style event in which competitors spend up to one hour finding the shortest solution they can and writing it down on paper.
All attendees, including competitors and guests, are asked to please remain quiet at this competition to allow competitors to concentrate.
If you are looking to compete in the traditional 3x3x3 Cube event or other timed events, please look for another competition in Canada.
Note for New Competitors
Although first-timers are welcome to compete if they know how to solve puzzles blindfolded and/or how to write out solutions on paper (please note Regulation 2k6), this might not be the best experience for new competitors. Please consider registering for another competition if this one isn't for you.
You can also follow Speedcubing Canada on social media and/or join our mailing list to keep up-to-date on competition announcements.

Competitor List
Organizers manually accept registrations one at a time in the order the registrations are submitted, so your name may not appear on the competitor list immediately.
Once the competitor list reaches the 30 competitor limit, registrants will be added to the waiting list instead of the competitor list. Due to the competitor limit, completing your registration within the initial registration period does not guarantee you a spot on the competitor list.
On-Site Registration
We will only be accepting on-site registrations only if the competitor list has not reached its limit and a waiting list has not begun. If this is the case, competitors who did not register online may arrive at the competition before 10:30 AM to register on site.
Waiting List
The waiting list is ordered based on the timestamp that registrants submit their registration. If you are added to the waiting list, you will be informed via email. You can view the registration page to see your position on the waiting list.
If anyone on the competitor list deletes their registration, the person at the top of the waiting list will be moved to the competitor list. After October 7, 2025, the competitor list will be finalized. Registrants on the waiting list may email Speedcubing Canada at any time to forfeit their spot on the waiting list.
If the competitor list fills up quickly, registration could close earlier than the originally listed date (October 7, 2025). The waiting list will close at the same time that registration closes.
