Competitor List
Registrants must pay the registration fee in order to be added to the competitor list. Unpaid registrations will not be accepted.
Once the competitor list reaches the 110 competitor limit, registrants who pay the registration fee will be added to the waiting list instead of the competitor list. Due to the competitor limit, completing your registration within the initial registration period does not guarantee you a spot on the competitor list.
Waiting List
The waiting list is ordered based on the timestamp that registrants paid the registration fee. If you are added to the waiting list, you will be informed via an email. You can view your position on the waiting list on the registration page.
If anyone on the competitor list deletes their registration, the person at the top of the waiting list will be moved to the competitor list. After April 2, 2026, the competitor list will be finalized and registrants who are still on the waiting list will be refunded 100% of their registration fee. Registrants on the waiting list may email Speedcubing Canada at any time to forfeit their spot on the waiting list and be refunded 100% of their registration fee.
If the competitor list fills up quickly, registration could close earlier than the originally listed date (April 2, 2026). The waiting list will close at the same time that registration closes.
Parking is free at the venue. The main entrance to the Recreation Complex is the closest to the Banquet Halls, which are located on the ground level.
The venue is a 20-minute walk or 10-minute bus ride from Pickering GO Station.
There are several restaurants within a 10-minute walk from the venue including the Pickering Town Centre food court.
When does the competition start? When should I arrive at the venue?
The check-in desk will be open throughout the day at the entrance to the banquet halls or at data entry (behind the solving stations). You should arrive at the venue at least 30 minutes before the scheduled start of your first event. It is your responsibility to be on-time to compete. Please refer to the schedule and double-check start times the week of the competition, as the schedule is subject to changed based on final registration numbers.

How do I cancel my registration?
Please send us an email to request cancellation of your registration. Please note the cancellation/refund policy listed on the registration page.
The groups for this competition will be available after registration closes.
Per Regulations 1e2 and 1f2, all competitors must be available to help judge and scramble. If you're unsure how to judge, please review the WCA Regulations, watch the video below, or ask one of the WCA Delegates at the competition.
Please plan to arrive at the venue at least 30 minutes before the start of your first group and be ready to compete five minutes before it is scheduled to begin. Showing up excessively late to your group may result in not being allowed to compete in that event.
Time limit
If you reach the time limit during your solve, the judge will stop you and your result will be DNF (see Regulation A1a4).
Format
The format describes how to determine the ranking of competitors based on their results. The list of allowed formats per event is described in Regulation 9b. See Regulation 9f for a description of each format.
