This is the FMC-Only competition of Kewbz UK Championship 2026
As FMC is not being held at Kewbz UK Championship 2026, this is your chance to become the UK's Fewest Moves Champion! Those that achieve a podium finish will be crowned during the awards ceremony in Birmingham *

* You do not need to attend UKC to become the UK FMC National Champion.
If you are a new competitor, please make sure to read all the information in the FAQ and the Important Information tabs before registering. All competitors should be familiar with the information in these tabs.Spectators may attend for free, however this competition does not feature any traditional speedcubing events and is not recommended for newcomers.

The base registration fee for this competition is £10 (British Pound).
The registration fee has to be paid through Stripe here once registered.
If your registration is cancelled before you will be refunded 100% of your registration fee.
Registrants on the waiting list may be accepted onto the competitor list until .
No on the spot registrations will be accepted.
Please ensure you put the location you wish to compete at in your registration comment.
Each location has its own competitor limit, which is specified on the Venues tab. If your chosen location is full, you will be added to the waiting list for that location, shown in the Waiting List tab. You may change your location up to the limit date for refunds by emailing us using the "Contact Organization Team" button on the Contact Form.
If you want to change your venue after your registration has been accepted you MUST email us. Do NOT edit your registration comment.
Make sure to register and pay for the competition to be accepted. We will not accept any registrations at the competition.
If you can no longer attend, let us know as soon as possible through the Contact Form. We often have waiting lists so letting us know you cannot attend allows us to add another person to the competition.

Hello! We are the UK Cube Association and we are a completely volunteer-run organisation that hosts all cubing competitions in the UK. We are made up of a team of WCA Delegates and other volunteers, and we're passionate about giving people as many opportunities to compete in the UK as we can. We have organised over 100 competitions up and down the country with many more on the horizon and are always trying to find new locations to make cubing competitions as accessible as possible.

New Competitors
If you're a new competitor, we do not recommend this competition for you. This competition only has 3x3 Fewest Moves, where you are given an hour to write down a solution to a 3x3 scramble in as few moves as possible.
Information for All Competitors
- During the rounds, please stay silent within the venue. These events require a high amount of concentration and any noise can be distracting. We will announce when the silence will begin and when you may talk within the venue again.
- Please treat the venue with respect, put all of your rubbish in bins, black bin bags, or take it home with you and keep your area tidy.
- We may be taking videos and photographs of the competition and the environment for our social media pages and website. By attending the competition as a competitor or a guest, you are accepting that you may be filmed or photographed for these purposes.
- Some venues may allow guests, some may not. This will be communicated closer to the time, once we have an idea as to how busy each venue is going to be.
Birmingham
The Birmingham venue is located at Ark St Alban's Academy, a mixed secondary school and sixth form located in the Highgate area of Birmingham.

Train:: The nearest major train station is Birmingham New Street. From there it is a 0.9 mile/ 1.45 km walk, taking about 20 minutes.
Bus:: Connections between Birmingham New Street and the venue can be found using Google Maps, including the 35, 45 and 47 bus routes.
Car: Visitors should look for on-street parking in the surrounding residential area or use nearby public parking facilities in the Birmingham City Centre or Digbeth areas
Accommodation: Nearby chain hotels include the Ibis Budget Birmingham Centre (0.9 mile/ 1.45k walk) and Travelodge Birmingham Central Bull Ring (1 mile/ 1.6km walk). Other options can be found on various other sites including booking.com and airbnb.com.
Cardiff

Train: Cardiff Central train station is a 15 minute/0.6 mile walk away.
Bus: The area is well served by local buses.
Car: there are multi-storey car parks nearby, for example NCP Greyfriars. The Cardiff Council website has suggestions about parking and driving in Cardiff.
London
The venue is a classroom in Clapton Girls' Academy.
Train: Hackney Downs, Hackney Central and Clapton stations are a short walk away.
Bus: Many bus routes operate nearby. See TFL for further details.
Car: Driving is not recommended as the venue is in a relatively central part of London. There is no parking available on site.
Visiting the UK from overseas
If you are travelling from a Visa-exempt country (including USA, Canada and Australia) or from the European Union you may now need a valid Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA). Holders of Irish passports or legal residents of Ireland are exempt from this requirement.

Time limit
If you reach the time limit during your solve, the judge will stop you and your result will be DNF (see Regulation A1a4).
