This is the specialist Big Blind & Multi-Blind competition of Kewbz UK Championship 2026

As 4BLD, 5BLD and MultiBlind are not being held at Kewbz UK Championship 2026, this is your chance to become the UK's Champion for each of these events! The podium finishers will be crowned during the awards ceremony in Birmingham, 2 weeks after this competition *

* You do not need to attend UKC to become the UK National Champion of these events.

If you are a new competitor, please make sure to read all the information in the FAQ and the Important Information tabs before registering. All competitors should be familiar with the information in these tabs.

Spectators may attend for free, however this competition does not feature any traditional speedcubing events and is not recommended for newcomers.

There is a competitor limit of 60 competitors.
The base registration fee for this competition is £15 (British Pound).
The registration fee has to be paid through Stripe here once registered.
If your registration is cancelled before you will be refunded 100% of your registration fee.
Registrants on the waiting list may be accepted onto the competitor list until .
If you are a registered competitor you may change your registered events until on the Register tab.
No on the spot registrations will be accepted.


Make sure to register and pay for the competition to be accepted. We will not accept any registrations at the competition.

If you can no longer attend, let us know as soon as possible through the contact form. We often have waiting lists so letting us know you cannot attend allows us to add another person to the competition.

New Competitors

If you're a new competitor, we do not recommend this competition for you. This competition only has 4x4 Blindfolded, 5x5 Blindfolded, and 3x3 Multi-Blind, which are high-difficulty events.

Information for All Competitors

  • During the rounds, please stay silent within the venue. These events require a high amount of concentration and any noise can be distracting. We will announce when the silence will begin and when you may talk within the venue again.
  • Please treat the venue with respect, put all of your rubbish in bins, black bin bags, or take it home with you and keep your area tidy.
  • We may be taking videos and photographs of the competition and the environment for our social media pages and website. By attending the competition as a competitor or a guest, you are accepting that you may be filmed or photographed for these purposes.
  • Some venues may allow guests, some may not. This will be communicated closer to the time, once we have an idea as to how busy each venue is going to be.

Train: The nearest major train station is Birmingham New Street. From there it is a 0.9 mile/ 1.45 km walk, taking about 20 minutes.
Bus: Connections between Birmingham New Street and the venue can be found using Google Maps, including the 35, 45 and 47 bus routes.
Car: Visitors should look for on-street parking in the surrounding residential area or use nearby public parking facilities in the Birmingham City Centre or Digbeth areas

Accommodation: Nearby chain hotels include the Ibis Budget Birmingham Centre (0.9 mile/ 1.45k walk) and Travelodge Birmingham Central Bull Ring (1 mile/ 1.6km walk). Other options can be found on various other sites including booking.com and airbnb.com.

Visiting the UK from overseas

If you are travelling from a Visa-exempt country (including USA, Canada and Australia) or from the European Union you may now need a valid Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA). Holders of Irish passports or legal residents of Ireland are exempt from this requirement.

If the competition fills, your registration will be placed on the waiting list. If somebody drops out before Monday August 10th at 5pm, the next on the list will be moved onto the list of registered competitors. Note that you need to pay the registration fee in order to secure your spot on the waiting list.

A full refund will be given to anyone that is not promoted from the Waiting List to the competitor list as a result of dropouts. If you wish to be removed from the Waiting List in order to get a refund sooner, then please contact the organisation team in advance.

Time limit

If you reach the time limit during your solve, the judge will stop you and your result will be DNF (see Regulation A1a4).
A cumulative time limit may be enforced (see Regulation A1a2).

Format

The format describes how to determine the ranking of competitors based on their results. The list of allowed formats per event is described in Regulation 9b. See Regulation 9f for a description of each format.
