Wenn das Teilnehmerlimit bereits erreicht wurde und deine Anmeldung vollständig ist (mit Zahlung), erhältst du einen Platz auf der Warteliste. Diese ist nach dem Zeitpunkt der vollständigen Anmeldung sortiert. Du erhältst du eine E-Mail, sobald ein Platz für dich frei werden sollte. Falls du keinen freien Teilnehmerplatz mehr erlangen solltest, wird die Anmeldegebühr selbstverständlich erstattet.
Solltest du nicht mehr teilnehmen können und deine Anmeldung daher stornieren wollen, bitten wir dich darum, uns über obige Mail zu informieren. Dadurch kann ein Teilnehmer auf der Warteliste nachrücken! Du erhältst eine Erstattung der gesamten Anmeldegebühr (100%), wenn du deine Anmeldung vor dem 17. Oktober 2022, 23:55 stornierst.

- Pay the registration fee of 20 Euro by following this link to PayPal. Please do not activate the optional buyer protection as this will be deducted as a fee from the amount you pay. If the person paying and the person registering are different, please enter the name of the competitor in the final step of the payment procedure. The registration is not completed until the money is paid! If you have no access to PayPal, please contact the organization team via darmstadtdodecahedrondays@googlegroups.com .
- Carefully read the Covid-19 safety rules. Please note that breaking these rules can result in a disqualification from the competition.
If you have registered and paid but the competitor limit has been reached, you will receive a spot on the waiting list. Once registered competitors cancel their registration, people on the waiting list will be accepted in order of their complete registration. You will be notified via e-mail once a spot for you is available. Everyone on the waiting list who didn't obtain a competitor spot will receive a full refund.
If you find that you can not attend the competition anymore, please inform us via the aforementioned e-mail address. That way, another competitor can fill your spot! You will receive a full refund (100%) of the entrance fee if you cancel your registration before October 17, 2022, 11:55 PM GMT+2.
For guests:
Guests can attend the competition for free. There is a limit of one guest per competitor. Further guests and guests without a competitor to accompany can unfortunately not attend the competition. - Highlights

Newcomer information
If this is your first WCA competition, please pay attention to the following:
According to Regulation 2e), all newcomers are required to bring some form of identification document that shows name, citizenship and date of birth.
All newcomers are urgently asked to attend the Tutorial (see schedule).
Every competitor should have read the official WCA regulations at least once before attending the competition! A more condensed version of the important regulations can be found at the WCA Competition Tutorial.
Don't be afraid: there will also be time to test the equipment (for example the official timing device, the Stackmat timer) and discuss the rules if you have questions at the competition.
Feel free to contact the organizer if you have any uncertainties.

Informationen für Neulinge
Falls dies dein erstes WCA Turnier sein sollte, beachte bitte die folgenden Punkte:
Alle Neulinge sind dazu verpflichtet ein Ausweisdokument an der Anmeldung vor zu zeigen (Regulation 2e)). Aus dem Dokument müssen Name, Nationalität und Geburtsdatum hervorgehen.
Alle Neulinge sind eindringlich gebeten, am Tutorial (siehe Zeitplan) teilzunehmen.
Jeder Teilnehmer sollte bereits vor der Meisterschaft mindestens einmal die offiziellen Regeln der WCA gelesen haben. Zusätzlich ist ein Blick in unsere Teilnehmer-Anleitung sowie das WCA Competition Tutorial mehr als ratsam für alle Neulinge!
Keine Angst: während des Turniers besteht die Möglichkeit, sich mit dem offiziellen Equipment (Stackmat-Timer) vertraut zu machen und Fragen zu stellen.
Bei wichtigen Fragen vor dem Turnier kannst du dich gerne an das Organisationsteam wenden.

The venue is just 3 minute by foot from the bus and tram stop Darmstadt-Eberstadt Wartehalle. From Darmstadt Central Station you can get there by taking the tram 6 or 8.
The nearest train station is Eberstadt Bahnhof, Darmstadt which is serviced by the RB68/67 which runs between Frankfurt and Heidelberg. The train station is about 1.6km away and there's a bus (P and PE) to Darmstadt-Eberstadt Wartehalle every 30 minutes.

Von der Haltestelle Darmstadt-Eberstadt Wartehalle sind es nur 3 minuten zu Fuß zum Ernst-Ludwig-Saal. Von Darmstadt Hauptbahnhof fahren die Tram 6 und 8 dort hin.
Ansonsten kann man auch nach Eberstadt Bahnhof, Darmstadt fahren, dort fährt die RB68/67 zwischen Frankfurt und Heidelberg. Dieser Bahnhof ist allerdings 1.6km entfernt und es fährt nur alle 30 minuten ein Bus (P oder PE).

Es gelten die folgenden Sicherheitsvorkehrungen und Regeln:
- Konsequente Maskenpflicht: Alle Teilnehmer und Gäste müssen zu jeder Zeit während des Aufenthalts in der Venue einen geeigneten Mund-Nasen-Schutz (medizinische OP-Maske oder FFP2-/KN95-Maske) korrekt über Mund und Nase tragen, Stoffmasken sind nicht erlaubt!
- Symptome: Personen, die am Tag des Wettbewerbs Covid-Symptome wie Fieber, Husten oder Abgeschlagenheit zeigen und in der Woche vor dem Wettbewerb mit einem Covid-19-Erkrankten Kontakt hatten, dürfen die Venue nicht betreten und nicht am Wettbewerb teilnehmen. Wer in der Woche vor dem Wettbewerb mit einem Covid-19-Erkrankten Kontakt hatte ODER geringfügige Covid-Symptome wie Husten oder Abgeschlagenheit zeigt, muss vor dem Wettbewerb einen Selbsttest/zertifizierten Schnelltest ("Bürgertest") machen, der natürlich negativ ausfallen muss.
- Gäste-Begrenzung: Es darf maximal ein Gast pro Teilnehmer mitgebracht werden. Dieser Gast muss bei der Anmeldung angeben werden.
- Desinfektion: Während des Wettbewerbs wird Desinfektionsmittel bereitgestellt werden.
Achtung: Die oben genannten Regeln dienen der Durchführung einer sicheren Veranstaltung für alle Teilnehmer. Nichtbeachten der Regeln und mutwilliges oder wiederholtes Zuwiderhandeln führen zur Disqualifikation und Ausschluss von der Veranstaltung.
Dies obigen Regeln erfüllen die aktuell gültige Corona-Schutzverordnung in Hessen in vollem Umfang. Bitte beachte, dass wir keinen Einfluss auf gesetzliche Regelungen haben. Sollte es kurzfristig zu Änderungen kommen, wegen denen wir den Wettbewerb nicht durchführen können, werden alle Teilnehmer per E-Mail benachrichtigt und die Teilnahmegebühr wenn möglich zurückgezahlt.
Falls du zum Wettbewerb aus einem anderen Land als Deutschland anreisen möchtest, beachte bitte die derzeitigen Einreiseregelungen für Deutschland und leiste den dort beschriebenen Anweisungen Folge.

The following safety rules and precautions apply:
- Strict Mask Requirement: All competitors and guests will have to wear a suitabe mouth nose protection such as a medical face mask or FFP2-/KN95 mask (no fabric masks allowed!) correctly over mouth and nose anytime while being in the venue.
- Symptoms: Persons that show Covid symptoms such as fever, coughing or fatigue on the day of the competition and were in contact with a Covid-19 patient in the week prior to the competition are not allowed to enter the venue and/or compete. Persons that show weak Covid symptoms such as coughing or fatigue on the day of the competition OR persons that were in contact with a Covid-19 patient in the week prior to the competition have to do a rapid self-test or certified antigen test (with a negative result) prior to attending the competition.
- Guest Limitation: There is a maximum of one guest per competitor. The guest has to be mentioned when completing your application.
- Disinfection: We will provide disinfectants during the competition.
Attention: The rules stated above serve to ensure the safe execution of the competition for all competitors. Ignoring and willful or repeated violating of these rules will result in disqualification and exclusion from the competition.
The rules above are in compliance with the laws in force (see the Covid-19 Safety Policy in Hessen). Please note that we do not have any influence on the regulations set by the laws. If we cannot conduct the competition in case these laws change, all competitors will be notified via e-mail and the registration fee will be paid back if possible.
If you plan to travel to the competition from another country, please take a look at the current entry restrictions for Germany and follow the regulations set there.

Time limit
If you reach the time limit during your solve, the judge will stop you and your result will be DNF (see Regulation A1a4).
A cumulative time limit may be enforced (see Regulation A1a2).
Cutoff
The result to beat to proceed to the second phase of a cutoff round (see Regulation 9g).
Format
The format describes how to determine the ranking of competitors based on their results. The list of allowed formats per event is described in Regulation 9b. See Regulation 9f for a description of each format.
