Cómo inscribirse al campeonato CubiTomé 2026

1. Crear una cuenta en la WCA

Si eres nuevo y no tienes una cuenta en la WCA, debes crear una. Para hacerlo:

• 🖱️ Paso 1: Ve al siguiente enlace para crear tu cuenta: Registro en la WCA.
• 📝 Paso 2: Rellena el formulario con tu correo electrónico, una contraseña y marca si has competido en torneos de la WCA o no.
• ✅ Paso 3: Completa el proceso de registro siguiendo las instrucciones en pantalla.

2. Registrarte en el campeonato

Con tu cuenta ya creada, vuelve a la página del campeonato CubiTomé 2026 y:

• 🌐 Paso 1: Ve a la página de inscripción del campeonato.
• 📅 Paso 2: Selecciona las categorías en las que deseas participar.
• 📝 Paso 3: Completa el proceso de registro.

3. Realizar el pago de inscripción

• 🌐 Una vez registrado, debes pagar la inscripción de $6.000 CLP, los datos de la cuenta te llegarán automaticamente al correo con las instrucciones correspondientes.

4. Enviar el comprobante de pago

Una vez realizado el depósito:

• 📧 Paso 1: Envía el comprobante al correo campeonatocubikonce@gmail.com.
• 📝 Paso 2: Indica el nombre del competidor en el correo.
• 🆕 Paso 3: Si el competidor es nuevo, menciónalo en el correo adjunto.

How to Register for the CubiTomé 2026

1. Create a WCA Account

If you're new and don’t have a WCA account, you need to create one. To do this:

• 🖱️ Step 1: Go to the following link to create your account: Register on the WCA.

• 📝 Step 2: Fill out the form with your email, a password, and specify if you have competed in WCA tournaments before.

• ✅ Step 3: Complete the registration process by following the on-screen instructions.

2. Register for the Championship

Once your account is created, return to the CubiKonce page and:

• 🌐 Step 1: Go to the championship registration page.

• 📅 Step 2: Select the categories you wish to participate in.

• 📝 Step 3: Complete the registration process.

3. Make the Registration Payment

• 🌐 Once registered, you must pay the registration fee of $6,000 CLP. Payment details will be automatically sent to your email with further instructions.

4. Send the Payment Receipt

Once the payment has been made:

• 📧 Step 1: Send the payment receipt to campeonatocubikonce@gmail.com.

• 📝 Step 2: Include the competitor's name in the email.

• 🆕 Step 3: If the competitor is new, mention it in the attached email.

Recorrido Concepción-Tomé

Si vienes desde Concepción hacia Tomé, puedes tomar la micro Tomé-Concepción. Esta pasa por todo Chacabuco y tiene un costo de $780 para adultos y $260 para estudiantes. El tiempo aproximado de viaje es de 1 hora y 20 minutos.

Desde el terminal de Buses de Collao (Concepción), dirigete a calle collao, Giras a mano derecha y dirigete hasta la Plaza Acevedo (Parque de los dinosaurios) y tomas la micro en el paradero de Av. San Juan Bosco.

Una vez en Tomé, bájate en Egaña con Sotomayor y gira a la derecha por Sotomayor. Avanza hasta la calle Aníbal Pinto, gira a la izquierda, avanza una cuadra y llegarás al lugar del torneo.

Desde el Terminal EMEBus Tomé

Si llegas al Terminal EMEBus en Tomé, desde calle Portales camina hasta calle Nogueira y gira a la izquierda y camina hasta calle Anibal Pinto, y llegarás al lugar del torneo.

Travel from Concepción to Tomé

If you are traveling from Concepción to Tomé, you can take the 'Tomé-Concepción' bus. It runs along Chacabuco Avenue, and the fare is $780 for adults and $260 for students. The approximate travel time is 1 hour and 20 minutes.

From the Collao Bus Terminal (Concepción), head to Collao Street. Turn right and walk towards Plaza Acevedo (Dinosaur Park),and catch the bus at the stop located there.

Once in Tomé, get off at the intersection of Egaña and Sotomayor, and turn right onto Sotomayor. Walk until you reach Anibal Pinto Street, turn left, go one block, and you will arrive at the tournament venue.

From EMEBus Terminal Tomé

If you arrive at the EMEBus Terminal in Tomé, walk from Portales Street to Nogueira Street. Turn left and walk until you reach Aníbal Pinto Street, and you will arrive at the tournament venue.

🏆 CubiTomé 2026

CubiTomé 2026 se llevará a cabo en el Liceo República del Ecuador, ubicada en Aníbal Pinto 1210, Tomé, Bío Bíoo. El torneo se realizará el Sábado 10 de Enero de 2026. Este campeonato está organizado por Ignacio Ortiz y Felipe Bastidas Lopéz, con un límite máximo de 50 competidores.

LÍMITE Y ACOMPAÑANTES

El torneo tiene un límite de 50 participantes. Se recomienda completar el registro con la debida anticipación. El registro se cerrará cuando se alcance el límite de participantes o, en su defecto, el Martes 6 de Enero de 2026. NO SE ACEPTARÁN REGISTROS POSTERIORES AL CIERRE NI EL DÍA DEL EVENTO.

COSTO

El costo de la inscripción es de $6,000 CLP, que debe ser pagado en la pestaña de registro.

ALMUERZO

El liceo está ubicado en pleno centro de la comuna, por lo tanto, hay varios locales para comer y comprar cerca del recinto.

🏆 CubiTomé 2026

CubiKonce 2025 will take place at the Liceo República del Ecuador, located at Aníbal Pinto 1210, Tomé, Bío Bío. The tournament will be held on Saturday, January 10, 2026. This championship is organized by Ignacio Ortiz and Felipe Bastidas Lopéz, with a maximum limit of 50 competitors.

LIMIT AND ACCOMPANYING PERSONS

The tournament has a participant limit of 50. It is recommended to complete the registration well in advance. Registration will close when the participant limit is reached, or alternatively, on Tuesday, January 6, 2026. NO REGISTRATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED AFTER THE CLOSING DATE OR ON THE DAY OF THE EVENT.

COST

The registration fee is $6,000 CLP, which must be paid in the registration tab.

LUNCH

The high school is located in the heart of the commune, so there are several places to eat or purchase food near the venue.

🧩 Preguntas Frecuentes

¿Tengo que traer mi propio cubo para competir o me pasarán uno en la competencia?

Cada participante debe traer su propio cubo para competir. Puedes tomar prestado el cubo de otro competidor, siempre y cuando se encuentren en grupos distintos, es decir, no pueden turnarse durante una ronda.

¿Tengo que armar el cubo solo una vez?

Tendrás 5 intentos en cada ronda. El resultado será el promedio de estos intentos después de eliminar el mejor y el peor tiempo.

¿Existe un límite de edad para competir?

No existe un límite de edad para competir; todos son bienvenidos.

¿Existe una separación por edad o sexo?

No hay separación por edad ni por sexo. Todos los competidores compiten en el mismo grupo.

¿Dónde puedo ver los resultados?

Los resultados generales se publican en la WCA unos días después de la competencia. Puedes verlos en este enlace.

¿Por qué no aparezco en la lista de registrados todavía?

Esto puede deberse a dos razones principales:

1. No te has registrado en la página de la WCA.
2. Has tenido problemas con el pago de tu inscripción.

Si ya has pagado, envía un correo a campeonatocubikonce@gmail.com con el comprobante del pago. Si tienes dificultades para pagar, contáctanos al mismo correo.

¿Qué significa Bo1, Bo2, Mo3 y Ao5?

• Bo1/Bo2: Mejor de 1 o 2 intentos, respectivamente.
• Mo3: Promedio de 3 tiempos.
• Ao5: Promedio de los tiempos tras eliminar el mejor y el peor tiempo de 5 intentos.

Todos los eventos, con excepción de 6x6x6 y 7x7x7, utilizan el promedio de 5 intentos (Ao5). Para 6x6x6 y 7x7x7, solo se tienen tres intentos y se calcula el promedio sin eliminar tiempos (Mo3).

¿Qué significa que las rondas tengan corte?

La primera ronda de cada categoría, excepto la primera ronda de 3x3, tiene un corte o cutoff.

En las rondas Ao5, cada competidor tiene 2 intentos iniciales. Si en cualquiera de estos dos intentos logras un tiempo menor al corte designado, podrás continuar con los 3 intentos restantes.

Por ejemplo, para 2x2x2, el corte es de 15 segundos:

• Caso 1: Si el competidor logra un tiempo de 8 segundos en el primer intento, puede proseguir con los 4 intentos restantes.
• Caso 2: Si el competidor logra un tiempo de 17 segundos en el primer intento y 8 segundos en el segundo, puede proseguir con los 3 intentos restantes.
• Caso 3: Si el competidor logra un tiempo de 17 segundos en el primer intento y 16 segundos en el segundo, no puede proseguir con los 3 intentos restantes.

¿Qué significa el límite?

Cada categoría tiene un límite de tiempo. Por ejemplo, para 3x3x3, el límite es 2 minutos. Si te demoras más de 2 minutos en resolver el cubo, tu intento se detendrá y se marcará como DNF (Did Not Finish).

🧩 Frequently Asked Questions

Do I have to bring my own cube to compete, or will one be provided during the competition?

Each participant must bring their own cube for the competition. You can borrow a cube from another competitor, as long as you are in different groups, meaning you cannot take turns during a round.

Do I have to solve the cube only once?

You will have 5 attempts in each round. Your result will be the average of these attempts after removing the best and worst times.

Is there an age limit to compete?

There is no age limit to compete; everyone is welcome.

Is there a separation by age or gender?

There is no separation by age or gender. All competitors compete in the same group.

Where can I view the results?

Overall results are published on the WCA website a few days after the competition. You can view them at this link.

Why am I not on the registered list yet?

This could be due to two main reasons:

1. You have not registered on the WCA website.
2. You have had issues with your registration payment.

If you have paid, please send an email to campeonatocubikonce@gmail.com with your payment receipt. If you have difficulties with payment, please contact us at the same email address.

What do Bo1, Bo2, Mo3, and Ao5 mean?

• Bo1/Bo2: Best of 1 or 2 attempts, respectively.
• Mo3: Average of 3 times.
• Ao5: Average of the times after removing the best and worst time from 5 attempts.

All events, except for 6x6x6 and 7x7x7, use the Average of 5 attempts (Ao5). For 6x6x6 and 7x7x7, there are only three attempts, and none are eliminated, calculating the average (Mo3).

What does it mean for rounds to have a cutoff?

The first round of each category, except for the first round of 3x3, is a combined round with a cutoff.

In Ao5 rounds, each competitor has 2 initial attempts. If in either of these two attempts they achieve a time below the designated cutoff, they can proceed with the remaining 3 attempts.

For example, for 2x2x2, the cutoff is 15 seconds:

• Case 1: If the competitor achieves a time of 8 seconds on their first attempt, they can proceed with the remaining 4 attempts.
• Case 2: If the competitor achieves a time of 17 seconds on their first attempt and 8 seconds on their second, they can proceed with the remaining 3 attempts.
• Case 3: If the competitor achieves a time of 17 seconds on their first attempt and 16 seconds on their second, they CANNOT proceed with the remaining 3 attempts.

What does the time limit mean?

Each category has a time limit. For example, for 3x3x3, the limit is 2 minutes. If you take longer than 2 minutes to solve the cube, your attempt will be stopped, and it will be marked as DNF (Did Not Finish).
