Mounds Park Academy is a PEANUT FREE school, and as such please do not bring food that contains peanuts to the competition.

The base registration fee for this competition is $25 (United States Dollar).
If your registration is cancelled before you will be refunded 90% of your registration fee.
Registrants on the waiting list may be accepted onto the competitor list until .
We encourage everyone to register for the events they want to compete in via your online registration, however you may add events to your registration up until the event has started.
No on the spot registrations will be accepted.

Venue

This competition will be held at Mounds Park Academy in Saint Paul, Minnesota. Please enter Door #7 (North end of campus) of the Lansing Sports Center.

Parking

Free parking is available in the West and North parking lots of the Lansing Sports Center.

Food

There are several restaurants (fast food and other) within 2-5 miles of the venue. Outside food and drink is allowed in the venue, but please help us out by throwing away your trash and cleaning up after yourself!

Travel

The closest airport to the venue is the Minneapolis Airport (MSP), which is about a 25 minute drive away. Public bus routes from the airport are available, with travel time ranging between 1 and 1.5 hours. Uber and Lyft are available as well.

For each event, competitors are called to compete one group at a time. To facilitate this, all competitors have been assigned to a specific group for each event. Judging assignments for helping out at the competition are also listed for each competitor. Note that we do have a dedicated staff for this competition and they will be responsible for running and scrambling. If we need additional help with those items we will let you know.

The competition groups will also be available on a lanyard for each competitor at check-in the morning of the competition. All competitors will be required to wear their lanyards throughout the day of the competition.

Time limit

If you reach the time limit during your solve, the judge will stop you and your result will be DNF (see Regulation A1a4).
A cumulative time limit may be enforced (see Regulation A1a2).

Cutoff

The result to beat to proceed to the second phase of a cutoff round (see Regulation 9g).

Format

The format describes how to determine the ranking of competitors based on their results. The list of allowed formats per event is described in Regulation 9b. See Regulation 9f for a description of each format.
