There will be 3 special award categories, namely:
First Timer Category
Female Category
Sum of Rank Category

The Sum of Rank category shall be calculated by adding up the latest ranks of a competitor throughout the whole competition, where if an event is not taken part in, it shall be the total number of participants in the event + 1 (n + 1). The competitor with the lowest sum is the winner of the category. In the event of a tie, the number of gold medals shall be used to determine the winner.

The grouping list can be found here.

In accordance with Articles 1e and 1f of the WCA regulations, each competitor must be available to judge/scramble when requested. The grouping list generated merely serves as a recommendation for the minimum amount of staffing duty required by each listed competitor. If your name does not appear on the list, it does not indicate an exemption from staffing duties, unless you are a first time competitor. As per usual, each group is subjected to changes depending on the situation.

Should you wish to volunteer at any given point, simply let the organiser/delegate know. We appreciate any form of help, and would be willing to provide guidance if needed!
