Informationen für Neulinge
Falls dies dein erstes WCA Turnier sein sollte, beachte bitte die folgenden Punkte:
Alle Neulinge sind dazu verpflichtet ein Ausweisdokument an der Anmeldung vor zu zeigen (Regulation 2e)). Aus dem Dokument müssen Name, Nationalität und Geburtsdatum hervorgehen.
Alle Neulinge sind eindringlich gebeten, am Tutorial teilzunehmen. Infos dazu werden per Mail vor dem Wettbewerb bekannt gemacht.
Jeder Teilnehmer sollte bereits vor der Meisterschaft mindestens einmal die offiziellen Regeln der WCA gelesen haben. Zusätzlich ist ein Blick in unsere Teilnehmer-Anleitung sowie das WCA Competition Tutorial mehr als ratsam für alle Neulinge!
Keine Angst: während des Turniers besteht die Möglichkeit, sich mit dem offiziellen Equipment (Stackmat-Timer) vertraut zu machen und Fragen zu stellen.
Bei wichtigen Fragen vor dem Turnier kannst du dich gerne an das Organisationsteam wenden.

Newcomer information
If this is your first WCA competition, please pay attention to the following:
According to Regulation 2e), all newcomers are required to bring some form of identification document that shows name, citizenship and date of birth.
All newcomers are urgently asked to attend the Tutorial. Infos regarding the tutorial will be sent out via mail before the competition.
Every competitor should have read the official WCA regulations at least once before attending the competition! A more condensed version of the important regulations can be found at the WCA Competition Tutorial.
Don't be afraid: there will also be time to test the equipment (for example the official timing device, the Stackmat timer) and discuss the rules if you have questions at the competition.
Feel free to contact the organizer if you have any uncertainties.

All results will be uploaded to the WCA database after the competition, and will be available right here!

Anreise: Die Venue liegt im Industriegebiet der Stadt Gronau und kann daher am einfachsten mit dem Auto erreicht werden. Eine ausreichende Anzahl kostenloser Parkplätze stehen direkt vor Ort zur Verfügung.
Der Bahnhof Gronau wird auf der Verbindung Münster - Enschede (NL) von der EUREGIO-Bahn und auf der Verbindung Dortmund - Enschede (NL) mit der WESTMÜNSTERLAND-Bahn angefahren. Die Entfernung des Bahnhofs zur Venue beträgt ca. 5 km.
Am Wochenende kann ein Teil dieser Strecke mit der Line C3 des G-Mobils "on demand" genutzt werden.
Unterkunft: Im näheren Umkreis der Venue gibt es einige Hotels und Ferienwohnungen, z.T. mit Fahrradverleih: Hotel Driland (3 km), Ferienwohnung Hof Roßkamp (1,6 km), Landhuus Laurenz (3,7 km). Direkt am Bahnhof befindet sich das LIVELY Weiße Dame (5 km), in einem Vorort das Hotel Ammertmann (5,1 km) sowie weitere Unterkünfte mit etwas längeren Anfahrtswegen. Alternativen findet man auch in den Nachbarstädten Ochtrup, Bad Bendheim und Ahaus.

Arrival: The venue is located in the industrial area of the city of Gronau and is therefore easiest reached by car. A sufficient number of free parking spaces are available on site.
Gronau station is served by the EUREGIO train on the Münster-Enschede (NL) route and by the WESTMÜNSTERLAND train on the Dortmund-Enschede (NL) route. The venue is approximately 5 km away.
On weekends, part of this route can be used by the on-demand-shuttle "G-Mobil" - route C3.
Accommodation: There are several hotels and vacation apartments in the immediate vicinity of the venue, some with bike rentals: Hotel Driland (3 km), Ferienwohnung Hof Roßkamp (1.6 km), and Landhuus Laurenz (3.7 km). Directly next to the train station is the LIVELY Weiße Dame (5 km), while in a suburb there is the Hotel Ammertmann (5.1 km), as well as other accommodations with slightly longer journeys. Alternatives can also be found in the neighboring towns of Ochtrup, Bad Bendheim, and Ahaus.

The venue is located in the industrial area of the city of Gronau. Therefore, only the usual fast-food chains, gas stations, and a few small snack bars can be found in the immediate vicinity. A little further away (2.7 km) is a large K + K supermarket, open from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Time limit
If you reach the time limit during your solve, the judge will stop you and your result will be DNF (see Regulation A1a4).
A cumulative time limit may be enforced (see Regulation A1a2).
Format
The format describes how to determine the ranking of competitors based on their results. The list of allowed formats per event is described in Regulation 9b. See Regulation 9f for a description of each format.
