🇳🇴 Viktig informasjon

Du må registrere deg for denne konkurransen online for å kunne delta! Du kan registrere deg her.

🇺🇸 Important info

All competitors must have read the WCA regulations. Participants are expected to know WCA's regulations before attending an official competition. If you want to get a better idea of how the competition works already, please check this video which will show you this. Reading through this guide. is also a good idea since it shows most things a competitor needs to know.

You must be registered for this competition online in order to compete! You can register here.

You must be ready to compete when your group starts. You need to be present at the venue during the events in which you plan to attend. However, you need to be present at the venue no later than 20 minutes before your first event starts so that you have enough time to complete the registration. It is however always recommended to be at the venue at least 20 minutes before your next event, since the schedule may differ slightly from what was previously announced.

No flash photography in the entire venue! Flash is distracting to the competitors. Pictures without the use of flash are allowed.

Spectators must remain 1,5 meters away from the solving stations and the competition area. Otherwise, you might distract other competitors or disrupt the competition flow.

During all blindfolded rounds there has to be complete silence in the venue.

You are not allowed to talk about the scrambles until the round is done! Otherwise, you might get disqualified.

Check your e-mail A few days before the competition, you will receive a participant email where we will address various important information for participants to know. This email will also include any changes made since the competition was announced. If there is any other urgent information which we need to communicate to competitors, then it will be done through e-mail so therefore it is important that you check your e-mail regularly, especially in the week leading up to the competition

🇺🇸 First-Time Competitors

If this is your first WCA competition, welcome! We’ve collected the most important information to be aware of in this tab. We recommend reading this before competing for the first time.

All new competitors must bring a valid ID to confirm their personal details before a WCA-ID can be claimed on the website. Registration of new competitors tends to be just after the Competitor Tutorial. If you do not have a valid ID, please contact the organizers beforehand, and we’ll sort it out.

There’s a Competitor Tutorial at 9:30 on saturday, where we will go through the competition procedure as well as the most important rules to be aware of. We highly recommend being present for this. In addition we would like to watch this video for a walkthrough of the competing procedure. If you're participating in anything on friday, please talk to one of the Delegates before competing to get a quick rundown on how things work.

All competitors must have read the WCA Regualtions. A simplified version of the most important regulations can also be found in this document.

The schedule might change throughout the day. We will start new events as soon as previous rounds have concluded. We therefore recommend all competitors to be present at least 20 minutes before they’re scheduled to compete.

We’re using WCA Live for scoretaking. Here you can find your placement, and you’re able to check whether you proceed to the next round or not. Note that the amount of competitors that proceed to subsequent are subject to change as some competitors decide not to compete. Check if there are still competitors without entered times at the bottom of the list to make sure whether you proceed or not.

If you have any further questions, do not hesitate to contact the organizers, as we are happy to help!
