Bienvenidos al torneo Tilcara Open 2026🌵 , estamos orgullosos de anunciar el primer torneo en la provincia de Jujuy. El evento contará con 12 categorías oficiales de la WCA distribuidas en 24 rondas.

Welcome to the Tilcara Open 2026🌵 Tournament! We are proud to announce the first tournament in the province of Jujuy. The event will feature 12 official WCA categories across 24 rounds.

If this is not your first competition, associate your WCA ID to your WCA account here.

There is a competitor limit of 30 competitors.
The base registration fee for this competition is $6,000 (Argentine Peso).
Registration fees won't be refunded under any circumstance.
Registrants on the waiting list may be accepted onto the competitor list until .
If you are a registered competitor you may change your registered events until on the Register tab.
On the spot registrations will be accepted if there are remaining spots available, with a base registration fee of $6,000 (Argentine Peso).
Any spectator can attend for free.

Los registros se aceptarán por orden de llegada del e-mail con el comprobante de pago (ver Registro).
Quienes no lo hagan quedarán en lista de espera y podrán ingresar por orden según disponibilidad.
Recomendamos pagar tras registrarse para asegurar el lugar.
Los competidores en espera serán notificados por e-mail si obtienen un lugar.

🕙 Es de extrema importancia la puntualidad respecto al evento, sugerimos presentarse al menos 15 minutos antes del inicio de cada ronda.

📖 Es obligación de los competidores estar familiarizados con el Reglamento de la WCA.
Es necesario que todos los competidores conozcan el reglamento y se involucren ya sea colaborando como jueces, runners y/o scramblers
De lo contrario no es posible llevar la competencia a tiempo. De negarse a hacerlo se puede incurrir en alguna penalización.

Registrations will be accepted by order of email arrival with payment receipt (see Registration).
Those who don't pay will be waitlisted and may enter by order as spots open.
Pay after registering to secure your spot.
Waitlisted competitors will be notified by email if they get a spot.

🕙 It is of utmost importance to be on time during the event. We recommend arriving at least 15 minutes before the scheduled start of each round.

📖 It is a must to know the WCA Regulations, please read them thoroughly.
All competitors must be available to help as a judge / runner / scrambler as requested per the WCA Regulations. Not doing so may incur in penalizations.

El Tilcara Open 2026 se realiza durante el fin de semana de Semana Santa, que es la fecha de mayor afluencia turística en la Quebrada de Humahuaca. Tilcara suele alcanzar el 100% de ocupación hotelera durante estos días.

Recomendación de la Organización:
Te sugerimos enfáticamente reservar tu alojamiento lo antes posible. Si esperás a buscar alojamiento días antes o el mismo día del evento, es muy probable que no encuentres lugar o que los precios sean excesivamente altos.

Please read this carefully before planning your trip.

The Tilcara Open 2026 takes place during Holy Week (Semana Santa), which is the peak tourist season in the Quebrada de Humahuaca. Tilcara usually reaches 100% hotel occupancy during these dates.

Organization Recommendation:
We strongly suggest you book your accommodation as soon as possible. If you wait to look for accommodation days before or on the day of the event, it is very likely that you will not find a place to stay or that prices will be excessively high.

(Tip: Many family-run hostels in Tilcara are not listed on major booking platforms. Searching on Google Maps and calling them directly is often a good way to find better prices).

In the coming weeks, we will update this section with a list of recommended accommodations and direct contact details. In the meantime, please make sure to secure your booking on your own!

Time limit

If you reach the time limit during your solve, the judge will stop you and your result will be DNF (see Regulation A1a4).
A cumulative time limit may be enforced (see Regulation A1a2).

Format

The format describes how to determine the ranking of competitors based on their results. The list of allowed formats per event is described in Regulation 9b. See Regulation 9f for a description of each format.
