Vill du också arrangera en tävling?

Du kan också arrangera en tävling i din stad! Det enda kravet är att du har koll på en lokal som hade passat bra för en tävling. Det kan vara allt från matsalar, gymnastiksalar, bygdegårdar, folkets hus och klubb- eller samlingslokaler. Själva tävlingen kan pågå i bara ett par timmar på en vardagskväll eller en hel långhelg, du bestämmer. Därefter kan SveKub hjälpa till med det du inte kan eller vill göra själv, såsom tävlingsschema, budget och hemsida. Mer information om och hur det går till att arrangera en tävling finns här.

SveKub

This competition is organized together with SveKub.

As a member of SveKub, you always have a 25% discount on competitions. The membership is free, but is only available for Swedish citizens.
Read more about becoming a member on our website or become a member away.

To get the discount, you simply need to be registered as a SveKub member. After that, you register as normal and we will verify which competitors are members and which are not.
You will pay the full price to begin with, but we will refund 25% when reviewing the registration (approving it or moving it to the waiting list).
In the future, we hope to have a slightly more convenient system, but the current registration system can not have different registration fees for different people.

Do you also want to organize a competition?

You can also organize a competition in your city! The only requirement is that you know a venue that would be suitable for a competition. It can be anything from canteens, sport halls, community centers and club or meeting rooms. You decide for how long the competition should run, anything from a couple of hours on a weekday to an entire weekend is a possibility. After that, SveKub can help with what you can't or don't want to do yourself, such as a competition schedule, budget and website. Viktig info

Alla tävande ska ha läst WCA:s Regler. Deltagare förväntas känna till WCA:s reglemente innan man deltar på en officiell tävling. Reglerna finns även översatta till svenska, men tänk på att det är den engleska originalversionen som gäller om det skulle finnas några skillnader.

Vill man redan nu få bättre koll på hur tävlingsproceduren går till, kolla då gärna denna video som visar detta på ett bra sätt. Att läsa igenom denna guide är också en bra idé eftersom den visar det mesta man behöver känna till som deltagare.

Alla nya tävlande bör ha med ett giltigt ID. För att få tävla som ny deltagare måste du kunna identifiera dig själv och visa att den information du gav oss när du registrerade dig för den här tävlingen är korrekt. Ett pass är ett bra exempel på ett giltigt ID eftersom det visar all nödvändig information, såsom namn, nationalitet och födelsedatum. Om den tävlande är ung och inte har ett eget ID kan en vårdnadshavare verifiera att uppgifterna stämmer.

Du måste vara redo att tävla när din grupp startar Du behöver bara vara på plats i lokalen under de grenar där du planerar att delta. Du behöver dock vara på plats i lokalen senast 15 minuter innan din första gren ska börja, så du hinner fullfölja incheckningen, och för att vara på den säkra sidan ifall schemat påverkas något under tävlingen.

Fotografering med blixt är förbjudet i hela lokalen! Blixtar är störande för tävlande. Fotografering utan blixt är tillåtet.

Publik måste befinna sig 1,5 meter ifrån tävlingsstationerna och tävlingsområdet Annars finns risken att man stör andra tävlande eller tävlingsproceduren.

Man får inte prata om blandningarna innan man tävlat färdigt i pågående gren Annars finns risken att man blir diskvalificerad.

Håll koll på er e-mail Några dagar innan tävlingen kommer ni få ett deltagarmail där vi kommer ta upp diverse viktig information för deltagare att känna till. I detta mail kommer också eventuella ändringar sedan tävlingen annonserades tas upp. Om det finns annan information som vi snabbt måste kommunicera till deltagare så kommer detta också ske via e-mail, därför är det viktigt att ni håller koll på er e-mail regelbundet.

You must be registered for this competetiton online in order to compete! You can register here.

All new competitors should bring a valid ID. To be allowed to compete as a new competitor, you need to be able to identify yourself and the information you provided us when you registred for this competition. A passport is a good example of a valid ID since it shows all necessary information, such as name, nationality and date of birth. If the competitor is young and does not have an ID, a parent or guardian can confirm that the information is correct instead.

You must be ready to compete when your group starts. You only need to be present at the venue during the events in which you plan to attend. However, you need to be present at the venue no later than 15 minutes before your first event starts so that you have enough time to complete the chek-in, and also compensate for any slight changes in schedule.

No flash photography in the entire venue! Flash is distracting to the competitors. Pictures without the use of flash are allowed.

Spectators should remain 1,5 meters away from the solving stations and the competition area. Otherwise, you might distract other competitors or disrupt the competition flow.

You are not allowed to talk about the scrambles until the round is done Otherwise, you might get disqualified.

Check your e-mail A few days before the competition, you will receive a participant email where we will address various important information for participants to know. This email will also include any changes made since the competition was announced. If there is any other urgent information which we need to communicate to competitors, then it will be done through e-mail so therefore it is important that you check your e-mail regularly.

Nya tävlande

Om det här är din första WCA-tävling, välkommen! Alla är varmt välkomna att tävla, men kom ihåg att denna tävling endast håller sido- och blindgrenar. Se till att läsa igenom alla flikar ovan eftersom det finns mycket viktig information där.

Om du aldrig tävlat förut bör du ha med ett giltigt ID, till exempel ett pass eller körkort, för att intyga när du är född och din nationalitet. Om den tävlande inte har ett ID kan en förälder bekräfta dessa uppgifter.

Utifrån dagens planering kommer vi inte att ha en schemalagd deltagarintroduktion på denna tävling. Om du har några frågor är du välkommen att prata med arrangören eller delegaterna under incheckningsprocessen.

Vi rekommenderar starkt att du även kollar på den här videon så du bättre förstår hur det går till att lösa i tävling. Att läsa igenom denna guide är också en bra idé eftersom den visar det mesta man behöver känna till som deltagare.

New competitors

If this is your first WCA competition, welcome! Everyone is warmly welcome to compete, but remember that this competition only holds side and blind events. Make sure to read through all tabs above as there is a lot of important information there.

If you've never competed before, you should bring a valid ID, for example a passport or driver's licence, to verify your birth date and nationality. If the competitor does not have an ID, a parent can confirm this information.

As of today's planning, we will not have a scheduled competitor tutorial at this competition. If you have any questions, you are welcome to talk to the organizer or Delegates during the check-in process.

We highly recommend watching this video to get a good understanding of how solving in competition works. Reading through this guide is also a good idea since it shows most things a competitor needs to know.

It is also important that you read through the WCA Regulations so that you are aware of different penalties and how to avoid them.

Remember that you only need to be at the venue when you have an event to compete in, but since the schedule might change slightly throughout the competition, we recommend showing up at least 15 minutes before your first event.

Throughout the competition, you will be able to see live results from WCA Live, and there you can see what results you got and whether or not you proceeded to the next round.

Adressen är Allfarvägen 4, 191 47 Sollentuna, cirka 18-35 minuter norr om centrala Stockholm (beroende på trafiken). Det finns en parkeringsplats bakom lokalen (på Allfarvägen).

Kollektivtrafik från utanför Stockholms län

Mängder av olika trafikföretag kör tåg och buss i Sverige. Med fjärrtåg är det antagligen enklast att boka en biljett till antingen Stockholm central, Märsta, Arlanda eller Sundbyberg och därefter använda tipsen för lokaltrafik nedan. Med långdistansbuss så är det antagligen istället Stockholm cityterminalen som gäller. För lokal och fjärrgående reseplanering i hela Sverige kan Resrobot användas. Biljettbokning för långdistansresor görs enklast via respektive resebolags hemsida.

Med lokaltrafik i Stockholms län (SL)

Sollentuna nås enklast med SL pendeltåg, även om det också finns mängder med bussar. Pendeltåg med destination Märsta, Uppsala eller Upplands Väsby avgår från Stockholm city. Från norra utgången på Sollentuna station (längst fram i tågets färdriktning påväg mot tävlingen) är det endast 250 meters gångväg till entrén till Arena Satelliten.

Använd SL för tidtabeller, biljettinformation, samt personlig reseplanering i hela Stockholms län. Biljetten köper du enklast via SLs app eller genom att blippa ditt kreditkort (contactless) i spärren / biljettautomaten.

Travel

By car

The address is Allfarvägen 4, 191 47 Sollentuna, about 18-35 minutes north of central Stockholm (depending on traffic). There is a parking spot behind the venue (on Allfarvägen).

Public transport from outside Stockholm county

Lots of different transport companies run trains and buses in Sweden. With long-distance trains, it is probably easiest to book a ticket to either Stockholm central, Märsta, Arlanda or Sundbyberg, and then use the tips for local transport below. With long-distance buses, it is likely Stockholm cityterminalen that applies instead. Resrobot can be used for local and long-distance travel planning throughout Sweden. Ticket booking for long-distance journeys is most easily done via the respective travel company's website.

With local traffic in Stockholm County (SL)

Sollentuna is most easily reached by SL commuter train, although there are also plenty of buses. Commuter trains with destination Märsta, Uppsala or Upplands Väsby depart from Stockholm city. From the northern exit at Sollentuna station (in the very front of the train's direction of travel on the way to the competition), it is only a 250 meter walk to the entrance to Arena Satelliten.

Use SL for timetables, ticket information, and personal travel planning throughout Stockholm County. The easiest way to buy the ticket is via SL's app or by tapping your credit card (contactless) in the barrier / ticket machine.

Boende

Eftersom detta är endagstävling kommer det inte ordnas något deltagarboende denna gång. Det finns dock många hotell i Stockholm, varav det närmaste är Scandic Star Sollentuna som ligger cirka 500 meter bort. Kolla annars gärna webbplatser såsom Booking.com för att hitta det alternativ som passar dig bäst.

Accomodation

Since this is a one day comp, there will be no sleeping organized at the venue. However there are many hotels in Stockholm, with the closest one being Scandic Star Sollentuna, which is ca 500 meters away. Feel free to check sites such as Booking.com to find the option best suited for you.

Mat

Det finns restauranger och mataffärer inom några hundra meters avstånd från lokalen, bland annat en ICA Kvantum i Sollentuna Centrum.

Food

There are restaurants and grocery stores within a few hundred meters of the venue, including an ICA Kvantum in Sollentuna Centrum.
