Informationen für Neulinge

Sollte dies dein erstes WCA Turnier sein, beachte bitte die folgenden Punkte:

• Alle Neulinge sind dazu verpflichtet eine Ausweisdokument an der Anmeldung vor zu zeigen (Regulation 2e). Aus dem Dokument müssen Name, Nationalität und Geburtsdatum hervorgehen.
• Alle Neulinge sind eindringlich gebeten, am Competitor Tutorial (siehe Zeitplan) teilzunehmen.
• Alle Teilnehmer:innen sollten sich bereits vor dem Turnier die offiziellen Regeln der WCA durchgelesen haben. Zusätzlich empfählen wir euch einen Blick in das WCA Competition Tutorial bzw. unsere deutschsprachige Teilnehmer-Anleitung. Dort findet ihr wichtige Infos zum Ablauf und zur Teilnahme am Wettbewerb.
• Während des Turniers besteht die Möglichkeit, sich mit dem offiziellen Equipment (Stackmat-Timer) vetraut zu machen und Fragen zu stellen.

Bei Unklarheiten oder wichtigen Fragen kannst du dich vor dem Turnier an das Orga-Team wenden. Während dem Turnier können Fragen bei der Orga, oder bei einem Delegate gestellt werden.

Ergebnisse

• Live Ergenisse sind über WCA Live verfügbar. Nach dem Wettbewerb werden alle Ergebnisse in die Datenbank der WCA hochgeladen und werden auf dieser Seiter einsehbar sein.

Information for Newcomers

Should this be your first WCA competition, please carefully review the following information:

• All newcomers are required to bring some form of government identification that shows your full legal name, nationality, and date of birth (Regulation 2e).
• We also ask of all newcomers to partake in the competitor tutorial (view Schedule).
• Every competitor should have read the official WCA regulations before attending the competition! A more condensed version of the regulations can be found at the WCA Competition Tutorial. We also recommend this video guide for a visual experience.
• There will also be more than enough time to test the official equipment (Stackmat timer) on the day of the competition.

Feel free to contact the organisation team, should you have any uncertainties or questions.

Results

• Live results are available via WCA Live. All results will be uploaded to the WCA database after the competition, as well as being visible on this page.

Es gibt einen großen, kostenfreien Parkplatz nahe der Venue. Wichtig: Bitte beachtet, dass ihr nur dort parken sollt und nach Möglichkeit nicht auf der Straße.
Wenn du mit dem Zug in Karlsruhe Hbf ankommst, kannst du die Venue mit Buslinie 47 bis Wolfartsweier Süd nehmen (3-5 Minuten Fußweg bis zur Venue). Wenn du in Karlsruhe-Durlach ankommst, kannst du die Tramlinie 2 bis Wolfartsweier Nord nehmen (10-15 Minuten Fußweg zur Venue).

There is a free parking lot close to the venue. Important: Please use only this spot to park your car, not the surrounding streets.
If you arrive via train in Karlsruhe Hbf, you can get to the venue with the 47 bus to Wolfartsweier Süd (3-5 minutes to walk from the station to the venue). If you arrrive in Karlsruhe Durlach, you can take the tram 2 to Wolfartsweier Nord (10-15 minutes walk from the station to the venue).

Auf der Veranstaltung werden eventuell Foto- und Videoaufnahmen gemacht. Alle Fotos und Videos werden nach dem Turnier den Teilnehmenden zur Verfügung gestellt.

Einverständnis: Mit deiner Anmeldung erklärst du dich damit einverstanden, dass Fotos oder Videos von dir später veröffentlicht werden können. Gleiches gilt für Gäste, die Teilnehmende begleiten oder generell zuschauen.
Unter 18 Jahre alt? Bitte hole das Einverständnis deiner Eltern dazu ein.

Solltest du hierzu Bedenken haben oder nicht einverstanden sein, kontaktiere uns bitte hier, damit wir das entsprechend berücksichtigen können. Selbstverständlich kannst du dich trotzdem direkt anmelden.

Pictures as well as videos may be taken during the competition. All photos and videos will be made available to all competitors after the event.

With your registration, you agree that photos or videos of you may be published later. The same applies to guests accompanying participants or watching in general.

Following the Speedcubing competition, there will be a team puzzle contest on Saturday evening. The competition puzzles and prizes are kindly being provided by Ravensburger. You can find more great puzzles at https://www.ravensburger.de/de-DE/produkte/puzzle.

• 📅 When: Saturday evening, after the official cubing program
• 👥 Who: Teams of up to 3 people
• 🙋‍♀️ Guests are also welcome!
• 🧩 What: A 500-piece jigsaw puzzle to be solved as quickly as possible
• 🎯 Number of teams: Up to 20
• 🏆 Prizes: Awards for the top three teams
• 👉 Registration: Via a short form: registration form

Bei der Competition werdet ihr die Möglichkeit haben, eine Auswahl an T-Shirts, Hoodies und Beuteln zu kaufen, die vor Ort nach Wunsch bedruckt werden können. Teilnehmer und Besucher haben die Möglichkeit, ihr Kleidungsstück individuell mit dem Veranstaltungslogo, der Teilnehmerliste oder weiteren Logos zu gestalten – ganz nach ihrem eigenen Geschmack.

At the competition, you'll have the chance to buy a selection of t-shirts, hoodies and bags that can be printed on site as desired. Participants and visitors will have the opportunity to customize their garments with the event logo, the participant list or other logos - according to their own taste.
