This competition features easy and popular events, making it perfect for newcomers.

First Time Competitors:
All newcomers must be familiar with the WCA Regulations before competing. There is a video here for a basic rundown of a competition.Registrations will be accepted based on the following:
- 50% of spots, as defined by the competitor limit, are reserved for new competitors.
- Initially, 50% of spots, as defined by the competitor limit, are available for returning competitors on a first come, first serve basis.
- If greater than 50% of new competitors register before 50% of spots are filled by returning competitors, any additional new competitors will be accepted on a first come, first serve basis alongside returning competitors.
- If the spots reserved for new competitors are not filled by new competitors before registration closes two weeks prior to the competition, remaining spots, up to the competitor limit, will be accepted from registered returning competitors.
Judging:
All competitors are expected to help at this competition. We will have a judging tutorial at the beginning of the day. All competitors will be assigned to judge 1 group of each of the events they are competing in. There will also be draw prizes throughout the day to encourage competitors to stay after their round is done.Mystery event:
There will be a mystery event at lunch. You only need to know how to solve a 3x3 to participate.4x4
There will be no cutoff for 4x4 at this competition. The cumulative time limit is 20 minutes. You may take over 10 minutes to do a single solve if you let your judge know beforehand. 4x4 is scheduled such that overflow into lunch is acceptable so everyone can get results.
We ask attendees to limit themselves to one guest per competitor if possible so that we do not go over capacity limits for this venue which is 160 people.
Attendance is not required for the entire competition, however please arrive at least 15 minutes before your event's planned start time.

There is a competitor limit of 70 competitors.
The base registration fee for this competition is $30 (Canadian Dollar).
If your registration is cancelled before you will be refunded 50% of your registration fee.
Registrants on the waiting list may be accepted onto the competitor list until .
We encourage everyone to register for the events they want to compete in via your online registration, however you may add events to your registration up until the event has started.
On the spot registrations will be accepted if there are remaining spots available, with a base registration fee of $30 (Canadian Dollar).
Spectators are only permitted as companions of competitors.
Competitors may bring at most 1 guest.
