We are so happy to announce a new tournament in the capital of Chile, Santiago!
We hope this tournament will be very good and that you'll have a good time in it, with 5 different categories to participate.
To enter the venue you have to show your movility pass or have a negative test of Covid-19 no older than 24 hours.Estamos muy felices de anunciar un nuevo torneo para la capital de Chile, Santiago!
Esperamos que este campeonato sea de lo mejor para que lo pasen bien, con 5 diferentes categorías para participar.
Para entrar al recinto deben mostrar su pase de movilidad o un test de Covid-19 negativo con un antigüedad menor a 24 horas.

There is a competitor limit of 60 competitors.
The base registration fee for this competition is $5,000 (Chilean Peso).
If your registration is cancelled before you will be refunded 50% of your registration fee.
Registrants on the waiting list may be accepted onto the competitor list until .
If you are a registered competitor you may change your registered events until on the Register tab.
No on the spot registrations will be accepted.
Spectators are only permitted as companions of competitors.

Para poder participar en el campeonato debes completar el proceso de registro. Para completar el proceso de registro debes seguir los siguientes pasos en orden:
1.- Inscribirse en la lista de espera de la competencia en la página web de la WCA. Para ello necesitaras crear o tener una cuenta del sitio web WCA.
2.- Debes pagar la cuota de inscripcion de $5.000 pesos chilenos a la siguiente cuenta bancaria:

3.- Luego de pagar la cuota de inscripcion deberá enviar un correo electrónico a wintercubingopen@outlook.com con el nombre completo del competidor y adjuntando una captura de pantalla del comprobante de pago.
4.- Se enviará un correo electrónico de confirmación al competidor una vez completado correctamente los 3 pasos anteriores en orden. Solo entonces el competidor aparecerá en la lista de registros aprobados en el sitio web de la WCA para la competencia. La aceptación de la inscripción se realizará en el mismo orden de llegada de los correos con la imagen del comprobante de pago.

To be able to participate in the competition you must complete the registration process. To complete the registration process, the following steps must be followed in order:

4.- A confirmation email will be sent to the competitor once completed correctly the previous 3 steps in order. Only then the competitor will appear in the approved registrations list in the WCA website for the competition.

Claudio Matias Cancino Bruna won with an average of 7.79 seconds in the 3x3x3 Cube event. Felipe Medel finished second (8.11) and Leopoldo Andrés Ibarra Fuentes finished third (9.06).

Protocolo Wintercubing Open 2022
▷Para poder entrar al recinto se debe tener pase de movilidad vigente o test Covid-19 negativo de menos de 24 horas de antiguedad realizado en laboratorio certificado por ISP.
▷Es obligatorio usar mascarilla dentro del recinto.
▷Cada competidor deberán desinfectar sus manos cada ronda con alcohol gel o con jabón y agua en el baño del recinto.(Recomendado realizar lavado de manos clínico para mayor desinfección)
▷Cada competidor deberá respetar el área de competición si este no es llamado para su ronda respectiva.
▷Cada competidor tendrá juez fijo en cada ronda.
▷Cada juez deberá desinfectar la mesa de competición al inicio de cada ronda correspondiente.
▷No se puede ingerir comestibles y bebestibles dentro de la zona de competición para asegurar el uso de mascarilla.
▷La organización les pasará lapices nuevos a todos los competidores para que los conserven y los ocupen en cada ronda.
▷Puntualidad a la hora de entregar sus cubos para la iniciación de cada ronda.
▷Máximo 1 acompañante por competidor
▷Distanciamiento social
▷Se recomienda llevar mascarillas de recambio desechables, de no tener mascarilla de recambio preguntar a la organización por paquete de mascarillas.
▷Todo el recinto dispondrá de dispositivos con alcohol gel para la desinfección de manos responsable.
▷Habrá stock de jabón, papel absorbente, mascarillas y toallitas desinfectantes.

Wintercubing Open
LÍMITE Y ACOMPAÑANTES
El torneo tiene un límite en el número de participantes igual a 60. Recomendamos completar el registro con la debida anticipación.
El registro se cerrará cuando el límite de participantes se alcance, o en su defecto, al iniciar el 30 de Junio.
NO SE ACEPTARÁN REGISTROS POSTERIORES AL CIERRE NI EL DÍA DEL EVENTO.

La inscripción tendrá un costo de $5.000 que deberá ser pagado antes del cierre de inscripciones.
REGISTRO
Conocer el reglamento de la WCA ya que este es un torneo oficial.
La participación en este torneo requiere de la finalización exitosa de los siguientes requisitos:
Elegir los eventos a inscribir cuidadosamente luego de revisar las pestañas Eventos y Cronograma. Prestar atención a los formatos de las rondas y a sus cortes y límites.

Time limit
If you reach the time limit during your solve, the judge will stop you and your result will be DNF (see Regulation A1a4).
Cutoff
The result to beat to proceed to the second phase of a cutoff round (see Regulation 9g).

The format describes how to determine the ranking of competitors based on their results. The list of allowed formats per event is described in Regulation 9b. See Regulation 9f for a description of each format.
