Information

English:
CubingAT is happy to announce the first official WCA competition in Salzburg, the Salzburg Open 2020. Fortunately, we found a very strong, dynamic and cool partner (HTBLuVA Salzburg), that finally gave us the possibility to solve some cubes in Salzburg.
The competition is open to all competitors regardless of experience and skill, but certain event-based time limits will be in place to make sure we can stay on schedule and get through the day on time. No prior experience in WCA competitions is necessary, but competitors must be familiar with the WCA regulations.

All guests are welcome, but to maintain the security, we would like you to let us know you’re coming. Simply write us your name to this e-mail address: competitions@cubing.at. Alternatively, if you accompany a competitor, they can write your name in the comment of their registration.

Happy Cubing,
CubingAT - Sanio

English:
CubingAT is the first non-profit speedcubing association in Austria, with the main focus on supporting all speedcubers and the next generation of speedcubers living in Austria.

Our goal is to bring the 3x3x3 Cube closer to the bigger audience, no matter if you’re interested in the math behind it, the aspect of speedcubing or you simply want to fulfill your desire to finally gain the skill of solve it. CubingAT is the platform where you can find the needed content (e.g. contacts, competitons, tutorails,,). It's more than "just" putting content togehter, we're mainly trying to build up new synergies for anyone who wants to contribute.

Additional to that, we’re organizing events like WCA competitions, cubing meetings with the austrian speedcubing community, and a lot more. Currently we’re working on the general tournament structure in Austria. We want to have a consistent amount of competitions every year, increase the quality of competitions in our country and give everyone who is willing to learn the opportunity to organize a WCA competition or a cubing meeting with us together. If you have any questions regarding the 3x3x3 cube in Austria, this is where you get the answers.

That having been said, we highly recommend to try it, that is the only way to create your own picture about it. If you have any questions, don't hasitate to contact us via info@cubing.at.

Happy Cubing,
CubingAT - Sanio
