All the participants are requested to volunteer in the competition and every participant (except the New comers) will be assigned to a particular event that they have to Judge (or) Scramble in which they are participating.
All the staff/volunteering assignments will be decided by the organising team and participants will be informed of the same 2 days prior to the event, we will ensure that your volunteering does not affect your events.Please check out all the tabs for additional important information.

The base registration fee for this competition is ₹1,200 (Indian Rupee).
Registration fees won't be refunded under any circumstance.
Registrants on the waiting list may be accepted onto the competitor list until .
If you are a registered competitor you may change your registered events until by contacting the organization team.
No on the spot registrations will be accepted.
Spectators are only permitted as companions of competitors.
Competitors may bring at most 1 guest.

⚠️ Must Read Before Registering
Please go through the following important points carefully before registering for the competition:
1. State Representation
It is mandatory to mention the state you are representing in the comments section while registering. This must match your official government ID (Aadhaar/Passport).
2. WCA Registration & Payment
You must complete registration on the WCA website and pay the correct amount on our website based on the number of events you select.
3. No Replacement for Withdrawals
If a competitor withdraws from Round 2 or any Semi-Final, they will not be replaced by the next competitor.
4. Reporting Time
All competitors must be present at the venue at least 45 minutes before the start of their scheduled event.
5. Scorecard Signatures
• A missing judge or competitor signature will result in a DNF for that attempt as per WCA Regulation A7c4.
• We will not notify competitors about missing judge signatures.
• Competitors are responsible for checking and fixing missing competitor signatures at the data entry table before the end of the competition.
• We will not search for competitors to get missing signatures.
6. Missed Groups
If you miss your assigned group, you may not be allowed to compete in that event or round. Please stay alert and listen for announcements at all times.
7. ID Verification at the Venue
First time competitors must carry a valid government-issued photo ID (Aadhaar, Passport, etc.) for verification at the registration desk.
8. Respectful Behavior is Expected
Any form of misconduct, harassment, or disrespectful behavior towards competitors, staff, or organizers will result in immediate disqualification and removal from the venue.
9. Venue Cleanliness
Please help us maintain the venue by disposing of waste properly and not leaving food or belongings behind.
10. Photography & Media
Event photos and videos may be taken during the competition for promotion and media purposes.
11. Guest Policy
Due to the expected high number of participants, we kindly request that each competitor brings no more than one guest. To ensure a smooth and comfortable experience for all attendees, only one guest per participant is allowed.
If a participant brings more than one guest, a spectator fee of ₹300 per additional guest per day will be charged at the venue.
We request everyone’s cooperation in helping us manage space and maintain order throughout the event.
12. Venue Room Allocation
The competition will take place across two halls:
• HIRA HALL – Main Competition Room
• SINDHU SADAN – BLD (Blindfolded/Big Cube Events) Room
Prior to the competition, the organizing team will assign competitors to either HIRA HALL or SINDHU SADAN based on the overall schedule and the number of events registered.
• Competitors assigned to SINDHU SADAN will be required to complete all their events in that room.
• Room allocation is purely decided by the organizing team to ensure smooth scheduling and cannot be changed upon request.
We request all participants to cooperate and stick to their assigned competition room for the duration of the event.
🎉 Extras & Distractions
We expect the South India Cube Championship 2025 to be a high-energy and exciting event! Please be prepared for a dynamic environment — extra attempts will not be granted for routine distractions.
Distractions may include (but are not limited to):
• Cheering for fast solves
• Volunteers moving around the competition area
• Competitors reacting to personal results
• Routine event announcements (kept minimal during blindfolded rounds)
No extra attempts will be given for these.
However, extra attempts may be allowed in rare cases of:
• Physical interference
• Major lighting or environmental issues
• Loud disruptions from nearby competitors (e.g., during a final)
We strongly encourage competitors to practice solving in mildly distracting environments and consider using non-electronic earmuffs or blinders if needed.
By registering, you agree to follow all competition rules, guidelines, and WCA regulations, including accurate state representation, timely reporting, proper conduct, and responsibility for your participation. Failure to comply may result in disqualification.
The Participant should compulsorily register on WCA and should make the payment on or before August 8th, 2025.

The registration fee will depend on the number of events you are participating in and the date before which you register.

To be eligible for a South India Champion title, the participant must represent INDIA as the region on WCA and one of the following South Indian States or Union Territories:
• Andhra Pradesh
• Karnataka
• Kerala
• Tamil Nadu
• Telangana
• Puducherry (UT)
• Lakshadweep (UT)
The state/UT of representation must be mentioned during registration and must match a valid government ID (Aadhaar/Passport).
Additional Notes:
• Misrepresentation of state/UT will lead to disqualification from title eligibility.
• South India Champion titles are awarded separately from overall podium results.
• Organizers reserve the right to verify documentation and update these criteria if required.
The organizing team is looking for dedicated and experienced volunteers (preferably those who have attended or volunteered at WCA competitions previously) for South India Cube Championship 2025, to be held in Hyderabad!
Volunteers will assist with essential competition duties such as judging, scrambling, running, and general coordination to ensure the event runs smoothly.

We wanted to let you know this event is perfectly fine for cubers of ANY age and experience. We just ask you know a couple things before coming to compete...

FAQs
Q: Do I use my own cube to compete?
A: YES! You are responsible for your own hardware in order to compete. This means you should bring your own cube.
Q: What is the normal age of competitors at these events?
A: All ages are welcome, but in general competitors are between 10 and 20 years old. Don't let this stop you though, everyone can and should cube!
Q: How do I find results?
A: All results are posted on the WCA page within a week after the competition finishes. However, for the day of competing, go to https://live.worldcubeassociation.org to find information about current events. This is also where you will find information about upcoming rounds of events. Remember, the results are entered by a human so please be patient if you do not see your results immediately.
Q: Are there age divisions?
A: Nope! All competitors compete together.
Q: I want to attend, or I have friends/family who want to attend, but not compete. Do they need to pay as well?
A: No. All spectators are free to view the competition at no cost. There is payment only to compete. But in some cases, venue will be having restriction to allow spectators depending on the competition.
Q: Can I have fun at this event?
A: HECK YES! Cubing is amazing, and we sincerely hope you enjoy the competition!

Food Policy
• Non-vegetarian food is strictly not allowed in or around the venue premises, including the competition hall.
• There are several vegetarian-friendly restaurants and eateries within a 1 km radius of the venue.
• Participants are welcome to order food online, provided it is strictly vegetarian.
• Volunteers selected for the event will be provided free lunch by the organizing team on all competition days.
Reaching the Venue
The venue is located well within the city limits and is easily accessible via public and private transport.
✈️ Nearest Airport:
• Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (HYD) – Approx. 30 km from Abids
• Travel time: ~45 mins to 1 hour by cab
• Well-connected with domestic and international flights
🚆 Nearest Railway Stations:
• Hyderabad Deccan Railway Station (Nampally) – Approx. 1.5 km from the venue
• Secunderabad Junction – Approx. 8 km from the venue
• Kacheguda Railway Station – Approx. 4 km from the venue
All stations are well-connected to major cities across India and easily accessible via auto, cab, or metro.
• Nearest Metro Stations:
• Nampally (Red Line)
• Narayanguda (Green Line)
Both stations are approximately 1.5 km away from the venue.
Participants can reach the venue conveniently by metro, auto-rickshaw, or cab from these stations or other parts of the city.
Time limit
If you reach the time limit during your solve, the judge will stop you and your result will be DNF (see Regulation A1a4).
A cumulative time limit may be enforced (see Regulation A1a2).
Cutoff
The result to beat to proceed to the second phase of a cutoff round (see Regulation 9g).
Format
The format describes how to determine the ranking of competitors based on their results. The list of allowed formats per event is described in Regulation 9b. See Regulation 9f for a description of each format.
