Durante toda a competição, terá uma área separada para as modalidades não oficiais que poderão ser feitas em qualquer momento. Não é necessário se inscrever previamente para participar dessas modalidades, apenas comparecer ao local em que acontecerão as modalidades não oficiais. Os resultados não serão salvos no site da WCA. Todas as modalidades serão premiadas!

Throughout the competition, there will be a separate area for unofficial events that can be done at any time. A Olympics Cup é uma modalidade disputada em trios.

• Cada equipe é composta por três membros, cada um resolvendo um único cubo 3x3x3, um membro após o outro. Assim, os 3 membros da equipe resolverão 3 cubos em 3 cronômetros em uma ordem pré-determinada.
• A equipe vencedora é determinada pelo menor tempo total. Em caso de empate, a melhor solução individual de cada equipe é utilizada para determinar a equipe vencedora.
• As penalidades da WCA (ex: desalinhamento, temporizador parar/iniciar) serão aplicadas normalmente.
• Os três cronômetros usados por uma equipe são cronômetros independentes que não estão conectados entre si. Os tempos de cada membro da equipe serão somados manualmente e a soma será considerada o tempo da equipe.
• A inspeção começa ao mesmo tempo para ambas as equipes e se aplica a todos os três membros da equipe.
• A inspeção deve começar apenas pelo juiz. O juiz deve confirmar se ambas as equipes estão prontas para iniciar a inspeção antes de anunciar o início do tempo de inspeção.
• Após 8 segundos de inspeção, o juiz diz “8 segundos”.
• Após 12 segundos de inspeção, o juiz iniciará uma contagem regressiva de 3 segundos. Todos os membros da equipe devem colocar seus cubos no tapete e colocar ambas as mãos nos cronômetros. Caso isso não seja feito dentro da contagem regressiva, a equipe receberá um DNF.
• O juiz anuncia o início da resolução imediatamente após a contagem regressiva. Somente o juiz pode anunciar o início da partida.
• Enquanto o primeiro membro da equipe resolve, o segundo e o terceiro membros da equipe devem manter as mãos nos cronômetros. O mesmo se aplica ao terceiro membro da equipe quando o segundo membro da equipe está resolvendo. Caso contrário, penalidade: DNF.
• Enquanto outro membro da equipe está resolvendo, os outros membros da equipe podem continuar a inspeção, desde que suas mãos permaneçam no(s) cronômetro(s).
• O segundo membro da equipe e o terceiro membro da equipe devem começar somente depois que todos os membros anteriores da equipe terminarem de resolver e colocarem ambas as mãos de volta nos cronômetros.

The Olympics Cup is a event in trios.

• Each team consists of three members, who will each solve a single 3x3x3 cube, one after another. Thus, the 3 team members will solve 3 cubes at 3 timers in a predetermined order.
• The winning team is determined by the fastest total time. In the case of a draw, the best individual solve for each team is used to determine the winning team
• Standard WCA penalties (e.g. misalignment, timer stops/starts) apply for the solves.
• The three timers used by one team are independent timers that are not connected to each other. Each team member's times will be added manually and the sum will be considered the team's time.
• Inspection starts at the same time for both teams and applies to all three team members.
• Inspection must start only by the judge. The judge must confirm whether both teams are ready to begin inspection before announcing the start of inspection time.
• Right after 8 seconds of inspection, the judge says "8 seconds".
• Right after 12 seconds of inspection, the judge will start a countdown of 3 seconds. All team members must put down their cubes on the mat and place both their hands on the timers. If this is not done within the countdown, the team will receive a DNF.
• The judge announces the start of the solve immediately after the countdown. Only the judge can announce the start of the match.
• While the first team member is solving, the second and third team members must keep their hands on their timers. The same applies to the third team member when the second team member is solving. Otherwise, penalty: DNF.
• While another team member is solving, the other team member(s) are allowed to continue inspection as long as their hands are kept on the timer(s).
• The second team member and third team member must start only after all previous team members have finished solving and put both hands back on the timers.
