Østerhøj By Vote 2018 bliver en stille og rolig konkurrence. Som hvad navnet viser, er det "By Vote" dvs. at der er blevet stemt om hvilke dicipliner, vi kommer til af konkurrere os i.
I registreringsgebyret er indregnet kontingent til DSF, vores obligatoriske gebyr til WCA, og et stykke kage ude til konkurrencen.
Ved konkurrencen vil vi have præmier ved tider der ender på ,00 sek. Det er hvad vi kalder 00-chokolade. Så hvis du rammer en tid der rammer et helt sekund, ingen tiende- eller hundrededele, så er der så længe vi har, et stykke chokolade til dig.
Vi følger WCA reglementet som kan findes her. Vær venlig at gør dig selv bekendt med reglementet.
Ved ankomst modtager hver deltager en oversigt over hvilke grupper man deltager i, samt hvilke grupper man skal dømme eller blande.
Vi afholder en kort introduktion til dømning lige før vi starter konkurrencen. Det anbefales nye deltagere at følge med i denne intro, da det giver et godt overblik over hvordan en konkurrence fungerer, og hvordan man dømmer.
Man kan tage S-toget, linje C og H direkte til Måløv station. Fra stationen kan man gå til venuen, som ligger ca. 10 min væk, eller tage bussen, 152.

You can take the S-train, line C and H directly to Måløv station. From the station you can walk to the venue, it takes about 10 minutes, or take the bus 152.
You can always check "Rejseplanen".
Each event is run in groups, depending on how many people are competing in the event depends on how many groups there are. We call each group up one at a time in order to complete their solves during the scheduled time for the round. We have software that automatically picks what groups you are in, the judges, and who scrambles for each group. This is the minimum amount you should be helping out as it only is for first rounds. We always appreciate extra help!
Time limit
If you reach the time limit during your solve, the judge will stop you and your result will be DNF (see Regulation A1a4).
Cutoff
The result to beat to proceed to the second phase of a cutoff round (see Regulation 9g).
Format
The format describes how to determine the ranking of competitors based on their results. The list of allowed formats per event is described in Regulation 9b. See Regulation 9f for a description of each format.
