This competition is part of the Minnesota Winter 2023 Competition Series. Other competitions in this Series are: Note: You can submit a registration for all competitions in a Series, but only one of those registrations can be confirmed and accepted. You will only be allowed to compete in one of the Series competitions!
There is a competitor limit of 90 competitors.
The base registration fee for this competition is $20 (United States Dollar).
If your registration is cancelled before you will be refunded 90% of your registration fee.
Registrants on the waiting list may be accepted onto the competitor list until .
We encourage everyone to register for the events they want to compete in via your online registration, however you may add events to your registration up until the event has started.
On the spot registrations will be accepted with a base registration fee of $20 (United States Dollar).

Series FAQ
Q: What events are at each competition?
A: The events in this series are as follows:
- Side Events Minnesota 2023 (Dec 2): 3x3, 3x3 One-Handed, Clock, Megaminx, Pyraminx, Skewb, Square-1, (Unofficial: Mirror Blocks)
- NxN Minnesota 2023 (Dec 9): 3x3, 2x2, 4x4, 5x5, 6x6, 7x7, (Unofficial: Ten 3x3x3 Cubes)
Q: Can I compete at both competitions?
A: No, you can only compete at one. This allows more people to compete. There are no exceptions to this rule.
Q: Can I attend both competitions as a spectator
A: Yes! Spectators are free. Please also feel free to volunteer to help when we need it.
Q: Can I register for one and then switch to the other?
A: As long as registration is still open you can switch, however, please keep in mind:
- If the other competition is full, you will go to the end of the waitlist out of fairness to others.
- You will have to register and pay for the other competition. A 90% refund will be given for the competition you don't intend on competing in.
Q: Both competitions are full, can I be on both waitlists?
A: Yes! If both competitions are filled with 85 competitors each, then you can be on the waitlist for both competitions. Please keep in mind:
- You will have to pay for both to be considered registered on the waitlist.
- Whichever waitlist you get off of first will be the one your registered. You cannot choose which one you prefer.
- A full refund will be given for the competition you did not make it off the waitlist for.
Q: My registration was accepted but I can no longer attend. Can I remove my registration?
A: Yes! Please let us know as soon as possible so other competitors can have your spot. If your registration was accepted, a 90% refund will be given to accommodate the processing fee as long as it is requested before the deadline.
Q: I am on the waitlist but I can no longer attend, can remove myself from the waitlist?
A: Yes! Please let us know as soon as possible so others can move up the waitlist. If you are not a registered competitor and are on the waitlist, you will receive a 100% refund.
Q: Registration closed and I didn't make it off either waitlist. What now?
A: Please be sure that you paid - if you did not pay, you were never considered fully registered. If you did pay, you will receive a 100% refund We are also working on announcing more competitions all the time - Click here to see Minnesota competitions!
Once registration fills, a waitlist will begin and the link to monitor the status will be in this tab. You must pay the full registration fee to be added to the waitlist. When the waitlist reaches 20 people, registration will close and no more people will be allowed to register.
Please also note you can be on the waitlist for both Side Events Minnesota 2023 and NxN Minnesota 2023, but if you are accepted into one of the competitions, your other registration will be deleted and a 100% refund will be processed for the deleted registration. If neither of your registrations are accepted a week before each competition, you will receive 100% of your payment back.

Information
Ten 3x3x3 Cubes will be held as an unofficial event at this competition. This means that results will not be recorded in WCA's rankings. However, the organization team will have the results posted on a competition tab after the competition.
Competitors must provide their own ten 3x3x3 cubes that comply with Article 3 of the WCA regulations (The same rules for any 3x3 event). Towels will be provided as cube covers.

Registration:
The first twenty people to register will be accepted into the extra event. Only competitors who are officially registered for the competition's official events may compete in Ten 3x3x3 Cubes. A waitlist will be kept for this event of registered competitors who were not the first twenty people.
All registered competitors must help scramble this event. You must know how to read standard cubing notation and be comfortable scrambling.
Before registering, please note the Time Limit is 5 minutes, which is 30 seconds per cube.

Time limit
If you reach the time limit during your solve, the judge will stop you and your result will be DNF (see Regulation A1a4).
Cutoff
The result to beat to proceed to the second phase of a cutoff round (see Regulation 9g).
Format
The format describes how to determine the ranking of competitors based on their results. The list of allowed formats per event is described in Regulation 9b. See Regulation 9f for a description of each format.
