NCR 2023 Series

This competition is in a series with National Capital Region A 2023. You will only be able to compete in one of these two competitions. Attempting to register for both competitions will result in only one of your registrations being accepted.

Mailing List

We are aware of the extremely high demand for competitions in Ontario. We are working hard to meet and keep up with the demand and are regularly planning and announcing more and larger competitions. Please follow Speedcubing Canada on social media and/or join our mailing list to keep up-to-date on competition announcements. Thank you for your patience during this time as we work to scale up to the exciting growth of the cubing community.

Competitor Requirements

This competition is recognized as an official World Cube Association competition. Therefore, all competitors should be familiar with the WCA regulations. If you are new to competing, you may want to look at the WCA Competition Tutorial.

This competition is part of the National Capital Region 2023 Competition Series. Other competitions in this Series are: Note: You can submit a registration for all competitions in a Series, but only one of those registrations can be confirmed and accepted. You will only be allowed to compete in one of the Series competitions!
There is a competitor limit of 110 competitors.
The base registration fee for this competition is $40 (Canadian Dollar).
If your registration is cancelled before you will be refunded 90% of your registration fee.
Registrants on the waiting list may be accepted onto the competitor list until .
If you are a registered competitor you may change your registered events until on the Register tab.
No on the spot registrations will be accepted.

Health and Safety (COVID-19) Protocols

Competitors must read the Health and Safety Protocols prior to registering.

Competitor List

Registrants must pay the registration fee in order to be added to the competitor list. Organizers manually accept registrations one at a time in the order the registration fees are paid, so you may have to wait a while before your name could show up on the competitor list.

Once the competitor list reaches the 110 competitor limit, registrants who pay the registration fee will be added to the waiting list instead of the competitor list. Due to the competitor limit, completing your registration within the initial registration period does not guarantee you a spot on the competitor list.

Waiting List

The waiting list is ordered based on the timestamp that registrants paid the registration fee. For privacy reasons, this list is not available to the public. If you are added to the waiting list you will be informed via an email from the Organization team.

Anyone on the waiting list who wishes to be removed from the waiting list may contact the organizers to delete their registration and be refunded 100% of their registration fee.

If the competitor list fills up quickly, registration could close earlier than the originally listed date (April 14th, 2023). The waiting list will close at the same time that registration closes.

If anyone on the competitor list deletes their registration, the person at the top of the waiting list will be moved to the competitor list. After April 29th, 2023, the competitor list will be finalized and registrants who are still on the waiting list will be refunded 100% of their registration fee.

Les compétiteurs doivent lire les Protocoles de santé et de sécurité avant de s'inscrire.

Liste des compétiteurs

Les personnes inscrites doivent payer les frais d'inscription afin d'être ajoutées à la liste des compétiteurs. Les organisateurs acceptent manuellement les inscriptions une par une, dans l'ordre de paiement des droits d'inscription. Il se peut donc que vous deviez attendre un certain temps avant que votre nom n'apparaisse sur la liste des participants.

Lorsque la liste des compétiteurs atteint la limite de 110 compétiteurs, les personnes qui ont payé les frais d'inscription seront ajoutées à la liste d'attente au lieu de la liste des compétiteurs. En raison de la limite de compétiteurs, le fait de compléter votre inscription pendant la période d'inscription initiale ne vous garantit pas une place sur la liste des compétiteurs.

Liste d'attente

La liste d'attente est ordonnée en fonction de l'horodatage du paiement des droits d'inscription par les inscrits. Pour des raisons de confidentialité, cette liste n'est pas accessible au public. Si vous êtes ajouté à la liste d'attente, vous en serez informé par un e-mail de l'équipe de l'Organisation.

Toute personne figurant sur la liste d'attente qui souhaite être retirée de la liste d'attente peut contacter les organisateurs pour supprimer son inscription et être remboursée à 100% de ses frais d'inscription.

Si la liste des concurrents se remplit rapidement, l'inscription pourrait se terminer plus tôt que la date initialement prévue (14 avril 2023). La liste d'attente sera fermée en même temps que les inscriptions.

Si une personne sur la liste des concurrents supprime son inscription, la personne en tête de la liste d'attente sera déplacée vers la liste des compétiteurs. Après le 29 avril 2023, la liste des concurrents sera clôturée et les personnes inscrites qui figurent encore sur la liste d'attente seront remboursées à 100 % de leurs frais d'inscription.
