¡Bienvenidos al Mololoa Open 2024, la segunda competencia oficial en el hermoso estado de Nayarit!. Este evento emocionante y lleno de velocidad se llevará a cabo en la ciudad de Tepic los días sábado 23 y domingo 24 de marzo de 2024.
El Mololoa Open 2024 reunirá a cuberos de todo el estado de Nayarit y más allá, brindándoles la oportunidad de mostrar su destreza y competir en una variedad de eventos. Tanto si eres un principiante como un profesional experimentado, este torneo ofrece una oportunidad para que todos participen y se diviertan.
Esta competencia es reconocida como una competencia oficial de la Asociación Mundial del Cubo. Por lo tanto, todos los competidores deben estar familiarizados y entender el reglamento de la WCA antes de la competencia.

Welcome to Mololoa Open 2024, the second official competition in the beautiful state of Nayarit! This exciting and high-speed event will take place in the city of Tepic on Saturday, March 23, and Sunday, March 24, 2024.
Mololoa Open 2024 will bring together cubers from across the state of Nayarit and beyond, providing them with the opportunity to showcase their skills and compete in a variety of events. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced professional, this tournament offers a chance for everyone to participate and have fun.
This competition is recognized as an official event by the World Cube Association. Therefore, all competitors must be familiar with and understand the WCA regulations before the competition.

There is a competitor limit of 60 competitors.
The base registration fee for this competition is $150 (Mexican Peso).
If your registration is cancelled before you will be refunded 50% of your registration fee.
Registrants on the waiting list may be accepted onto the competitor list until .
If you are a registered competitor you may change your registered events until on the Register tab.
On the spot registrations will be accepted with a base registration fee of $200 (Mexican Peso).
Any spectator can attend for free.

Antes de registrarte lee detenidamente los siguientes pasos a seguir, debes cumplir con todos:
1) Regístrate o inicia sesión en la página de la WCA.
2) Esta competencia tiene un cupo de 60 competidores, revisa si todavía hay cupo en la sección Competidores.
3) Si es tu primera competencia oficial, puedes pasar al paso número 4:
- Si ya has participado en otra competencia oficial y ya tienes vinculada tu cuenta, puedes pasar al punto número 4.
- Si ya has participado en otra competencia oficial pero no tienes vinculado tu WCA ID, realiza los pasos del siguiente video y una vez vinculada tu cuenta procede al registro.
- Si ya has competido y tu WCA ID no está vinculado, tu registro no será aceptado. Anticípate.
4) El día viernes 9 de febrero a las 7:00 PM GMT-7 (America/Mazatlan), u 8:00 PM GMT-6 (America/Mexico City), entra a la sección Registro, selecciona tus categorías y haz clic en "registrarse".
5) Revisa tu correo electrónico, incluyendo la bandeja de SPAM. Si eres de los primeros 60 competidores, recibirás un correo con la información sobre cómo pagar la inscripción, recuerda que son $150.00 MXN. En caso que el cupo haya sido alcanzado, recibirás información de la lista de espera.
6) Una vez hayas cumplido con los pasos indicados en el correo, tu registro será aceptado.

Toma en cuenta que los registros se aprueban manualmente, por lo que es posible que tu registro no se apruebe de inmediato, pero confía en que seguimos la aprobación en el orden de llegada. Verifica que estés dentro de la lista de competidores.

Before registering, carefully read the following steps to follow, you must comply with all:
1) Sign up or log in on the WCA page.
2) This competition has a limit of 60 competitors, check if there are still available slots in the Competitors section.
3) If it's your first official competition, you can proceed to step number 4:
- If you have already participated in another official competition and your account is linked, proceed to step number 4.
- If you have participated in another official competition but your WCA ID is not linked, follow the steps in the following video, and once your account is linked, proceed to registration.
- If you have competed before and your WCA ID is not linked, your registration will not be accepted. Anticipate.
4) On Friday, February 9th at 7:00 PM GMT-7 (America/Mazatlan), or 8:00 PM GMT-6 (America/Mexico City), go to the Registration section, select your categories, and click "register."
5) Check your email, including the SPAM folder. If you are among the first 60 competitors, you will receive an email with information on how to pay the registration fee, remember it's $150.00 MXN. If the limit has been reached, you will receive information about the waiting list.
6) Once you have completed the steps indicated in the email, your registration will be accepted.

Getting to Tepic
Although Tepic has an airport, it only offers flights to Tijuana and Mexico City, which could result in higher costs if you are not from either of these two cities. Therefore, it is recommended to consider the option of traveling by bus, especially if you are a student, as you may take advantage of vacation discounts.

Time limit
If you reach the time limit during your solve, the judge will stop you and your result will be DNF (see Regulation A1a4).
Cutoff
The result to beat to proceed to the second phase of a cutoff round (see Regulation 9g).
Format
The format describes how to determine the ranking of competitors based on their results. The list of allowed formats per event is described in Regulation 9b. See Regulation 9f for a description of each format.
