FIRST TIME COMPETITORS

All newcomers are required to read WCA First-time Competitor Guide document to familiarize yoruself of the popular WCA regulations used to govern WCA competitions. Additionally, please watch this competitor tutorial by WCA Delegate Kit Clement of the USA.

📝REGISTRATION DETAILS

Sign in or Create a WCA account, then proceed to the Register tab to join the competition.

The online registration fee for this competition will be Php 250.00 inclusive of 1 event of your choice. An additional Php 50.00 will be added on top of the base registration for each event you want to add.

Events can be edited after registering. Additional fees will be collected in case the competitor adds an event.

Registration fee will cover the following:

1. Certificate of Participation
2. Competitor ID

Additional freebies will be given in the venue if available.

The registration fee is non-refundable, including when deleting an event.

📌IMPORTANT REMINDERS

1. Please indicate the NAME of the competitor in the message tab of GCash before sending payment. Failing to do so might revoke your registration as it is non-refundable.

2. For payments outside of GCash, kindly email your receipt with the competitor name to the organizer (joeldelpilar26.jdp@gmail.com).

3. Slots are secured via payment-first system. Once you've paid, wait for the organizer to approve your registration. Thank you!

🌍FOREIGN COMPETITOR REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS

Foreign competitors may opt to pay their registration fee at the venue. However, they are still required to complete the registration process and submit valid proof of travel as outlined below.

All foreign competitors must submit proof of travel (e.g., confirmed flight ticket or booking confirmation) on or before June 15, 2026.

Failure to comply with the registration requirements may result in the rejection/non-approval of your registration.

1. How do I register for the competition?

To register, create or sign in to your WCA account and proceed to the registration page:

Fill in the required details, select your events, and complete your payment to secure your slot.

2. Can I bring my own cubes and timer?

Yes! Competitors are required to bring their own cubes/puzzles for the events.

You may also bring your own timer for self-practice, but official solves will always use competition timers provided at the venue.

3. Do I need to arrive at the start of the competition?

Not necessarily. You only need to be present before your registered event begins.

However, it is highly recommended to arrive early to avoid missing your group or schedule.

4. I registered but my registration is not yet approved. What should I do?

If your registration is still pending, make sure that you have completed your payment.

• If you have not paid yet, please proceed with payment to secure your slot.
• If you have already paid but are still not approved, kindly reach out to the organizer for verification.

5. Can I still add events after registering?

Once your registration is approved, you can no longer edit it on your own.

However, you may:
• Contact the organizers to request additional events, or
• Add events at the venue, subject to availability

Additional fees will apply for added events.
