¡McBaja 2025 – Tercera Edición ya está aquí! 🧊☕🍟
El cubing se vuelve a vivir en el lugar más inesperado: ¡McDonald’s! Después de dos exitosas ediciones, regresa el torneo donde las resoluciones son tan rápidas como el servicio en la ventanilla. Este año la experiencia sube de nivel: cubos, papas crujientes y ahora el toque especial de un McCafé para acompañar cada giro.

Cubing returns to the most unexpected stage: McDonald’s! After two successful editions, the tournament is back, where solves are as fast as the drive-thru. This year, the experience gets even better: cubes, crispy fries, and now the special touch of McCafé to fuel every turn.

There is a competitor limit of 30 competitors.
The base registration fee for this competition is $175 (Mexican Peso).
If your registration is cancelled before you will be refunded 50% of your registration fee.
Registrants on the waiting list may be accepted onto the competitor list until .
We encourage everyone to register for the events they want to compete in via your online registration, however you may add events to your registration up until the event has started.
On the spot registrations will be accepted if there are remaining spots available, with a base registration fee of $235 (Mexican Peso).
Spectators are only permitted as companions of competitors.
Competitors may bring at most 1 guest.

2. Registro de Eventos
En la pestaña de Registro, selecciona solo los eventos en los que deseas participar y pulsa el botón de Registrarte.

3. Obligaciones del Competidor
Al registrarte en la competencia, aceptas cumplir con las obligaciones de staff (como ser juez, runner o scrambler). De lo contrario, podrías ser descalificado.
4. Problemas con el Registro
Si tienes alguna duda o problema con tu registro, comunícate inmediatamente con el equipo organizador enviando un correo a bajacubingoficial@gmail.com.
5. Aprobación de Registros
Ten en cuenta que los registros se aprueban manualmente, por lo que puede que tu registro no sea aprobado de inmediato.
6. Confirmación de Competidores
Corrobora que apareces en la sección de Competidores.
7. Revisa tu Correo
Permanece atento a tu correo, incluyendo la bandeja de SPAM para cualquier actualización de la competencia. Los horarios pueden ajustarse una vez que se complete el registro.
8. Importante: Si no Puedes Asistir
Si no estás seguro de poder asistir, evita hacer el registro y permite que otro competidor tenga la oportunidad de participar.

3. Competitor Obligations
By registering for the competition, you agree to fulfill staff obligations (such as being a judge, runner, or scrambler). Failure to do so may result in disqualification.
4. Registration Issues
If you have any questions or issues with your registration, contact the organizing team immediately by sending an email to bajacubingoficial@gmail.com.
5. Registration Approval
Please note that registrations are approved manually, so your registration may not be approved immediately.
6. Competitor Confirmation
Make sure you appear in the Competitors section.
7. Check Your Email
Stay tuned to your email, including the SPAM folder for any updates regarding the competition. Once registrations are complete, schedules may be adjusted.
8. Important: If You're Not Sure You Can Attend
If you're not sure if you can attend the competition, avoid registration and allow another competitor to register.

🎭 ¡Concurso de Disfraces! 👻
Este año tendremos un divertido concurso de disfraces abierto para competidores y acompañantes. Para participar deberás:
✅ Llegar con tu disfraz y mantenerlo durante toda la competencia.
🚫 No se permiten disfraces obscenos y deben respetar los lineamientos de vestimenta de McDonald’s.
🔌 Si tu disfraz incluye algún dispositivo electrónico, este deberá retirarse al momento de competir.
📸 Una vez realizado tu registro en la competencia, deberás tomarte una fotografía dentro del restaurante donde se vea tu gafete de competidor y tu disfraz.
💬 Deberás comentar dicha fotografía en la publicación especial del concurso que se realizará ese mismo día.
👍 El participante cuya foto reciba más “likes” ganará un combo gratis de McDonald’s 🍔🍟🥤 y un Puzzle sorpresa 🧩.

🎭 Costume Contest! 👻
This year we will have a fun costume contest open to competitors and guests. To participate, you must:
✅ Arrive in your costume and keep it on during the entire competition.
🚫 Obscene costumes are not allowed, and all outfits must comply with McDonald’s dress code guidelines.
🔌 If your costume includes any electronic device, it must be removed when competing.
📸 Once you have completed your competition check-in, take a picture inside the restaurant showing your competitor badge and your costume.
💬 Comment your picture on the special contest post that will be published that same day.
👍 The participant whose picture receives the most “likes” will win a free McDonald’s combo 🍔🍟🥤 and a surprise Puzzle 🧩.

Time limit
If you reach the time limit during your solve, the judge will stop you and your result will be DNF (see Regulation A1a4).
Cutoff
The result to beat to proceed to the second phase of a cutoff round (see Regulation 9g).
Format
The format describes how to determine the ranking of competitors based on their results. The list of allowed formats per event is described in Regulation 9b. See Regulation 9f for a description of each format.
