Esta es la primera competencia organizada en esta sede y también será la primera competencia oficial del año en Quetzaltenango.

Kukulcán Open 2026 será una competencia oficial de la World Cube Association (WCA), inspirada en la cultura maya y en la figura de Kukulcán, uno de los símbolos más representativos de Mesoamérica.

Nuestro objetivo es ofrecer una experiencia competitiva de alta calidad, promoviendo la comunidad del speedcubing en el occidente de Guatemala y mostrando parte de nuestra identidad y cultura a todos los participantes.

Esta competencia se llevará a cabo en dos locaciones diferentes.

Para consultar la ubicación correspondiente a cada día, revisa la pestaña “Distribución de áreas / Venue Layout”, donde se indica la ubicación de la competencia para el viernes 11, así como para los días sábado 12 y domingo 13.

This is the first competition organized at this venue and also the first official WCA competition of the year in Quetzaltenango.

Kukulcán Open 2026 is an official World Cube Association (WCA) competition inspired by the Mayan culture and Kukulcán, one of the most iconic symbols of Mesoamerica.

Our goal is to provide a high-quality competition while helping grow the speedcubing community in western Guatemala and sharing part of our culture and identity with every participant.

This competition will take place at two different venues.

Please refer to the “Distribución de áreas / Venue Layout” tab to find the competition location for Friday the 11th, as well as for Saturday the 12th and Sunday the 13th.

There is a competitor limit of 100 competitors.
The base registration fee for this competition is Q125 (Guatemalan Quetzal).
Registration fees won't be refunded under any circumstance.
Registrants on the waiting list may be accepted onto the competitor list until .
If you are a registered competitor you may change your registered events until on the Register tab.
No on the spot registrations will be accepted.
Spectators are only permitted as companions of competitors.
Competitors may bring at most 2 guests.

Informacion de Pago:
Efectuar el pago respectivo, el costo fijo de participación es de Q125.00, incluye participación en cualquiera de las categorías.
Tambien incluye: Gafete, diploma de participación y playera de la competición.

Solo los competidores que se registren antes del 2 de septiembre podrán contar con playera.

El pago de la inscripción debe hacerse a la cuenta de ahorro no. 4313053358 del Banrural a nombre de Obed Batz. Posteriormente enviar un correo con fotografía de la boleta de pago y su nombre (como aparece en la WCA), junto con la talla de camisa deseada al correo shalom1batzr@gmail.com

Luego de registrarse en la página del torneo y enviar el correo deben esperar respuesta y revisar si su nombre aparece en la lista de registros aceptados.

*Para las personas provenientes de otros países, registrarse y enviar un correo para coordinar el pago.

Payment information:
Make the respective payment, the fixed cost is Q125.00, includes participation in any of the events.
It also includes: Credential, Certificate of attendance and a t-shirt of the competition.

Only competitors who register before September 2nd will be eligible for a shirt.

The registration fee must be paid to the savings account with number 4313053358, of Banrural with the name Obed Batz. Next you must send an email with a photo of the receipt and name (as it appears in the WCA), along with the desired shirt size to shalom1batzr@gmail.com.

After registering and sending the email, you have to wait for reply, and then check if your name appears on the accepted registrations list.

*For people coming from other countries, please register and send an email to coordinate the payment.
