Las iguanas vuelven a salir al sol. Un año despues, Vallarta Speed vuelve a la escena y anuncia un nuevo torneo en casa esta vez siendo NxN. La cita es en Nuevo Vallarta, Nayarit, los dias 7 y 8 de Marzo del 2026 para girar cubos, convivir y pasarla increíble.
Este es un desafio NxN, con categorías que van desde 2x2 hasta 7x7 y OH donde la velocidad, la concentración y la resistencia se ponen a prueba.
Esta competencia es organizada por la comunidad de Vallarta Speed.
Esta competencia es reconocida como una competencia de la Asociación Mundial del Cubo. Por lo tanto, todos los competidores deben estar familiarizados y entender el Reglamento de la WCA antes de la competencia.

The iguanas are back in the sun. A year later, Vallarta Speed returns to the scene and announces a new tournament at home, this time as an NxN event. The event will take place in Nuevo Vallarta, Nayarit, on March 7th and 8th, 2026, for cube solving, camaraderie, and an amazing time.
This is an NxN challenge, with categories ranging from 2x2 to 7x7 and OH, where speed, concentration, and endurance will be put to the test.
This competition is organized by the Vallarta Speed community.
This competition is recognized as a World Cube Association (WCA) event. Therefore, all competitors must be familiar with and understand the WCA Rules before the competition.

Photos and videos will be taken at this event, which may be used by Asociación Mexicana de Speedcubing for promotion, documentation, and dissemination of our activities.

The base registration fee for this competition is $220 (Mexican Peso).
If your registration is cancelled before you will be refunded 50% of your registration fee.
Registrants on the waiting list may be accepted onto the competitor list until .
If you are a registered competitor you may change your registered events until by contacting the organization team.
On the spot registrations will be accepted if there are remaining spots available, with a base registration fee of $250 (Mexican Peso).

- Una vez realizado tu registro se enviara un correo con la información de pago, el cual será mediante transferencia bancaria o deposito bancario.
- Para poder aceptar tu registro debes responder el correo con el comprobante de pago del registro.
- Los primeros 60 competidores que se registren serán aceptandos en la competencia.
- Los registros se aprueban manualmente, por lo que tu registro no se aprobará de inmediato, pero confía en que seguimos la aprobación en el orden de llegada.
- Si tienes alguna duda o problema con tu registro, contáctanos al correo electrónico.
- Basado en el reglamento de la WCA, todos los competidores deberán estar disponibles para mezclar o juecear.

- Once your registration is complete, an email will be sent with the payment information, which will be by bank transfer or bank deposit.

Waitlist Information:
- If the limit of 60 competitors has been reached, you can still register, but you will have to wait for a competitor to cancel to be accepted.
- During the registration period, any competitor can cancel their registration, allowing the first person on the Waitlist to take their place.

Antes de registrarte lee detenidamente los siguientes pasos a seguir, debes cumplir con todos:
1) Regístrate o inicia sesión en la página de la WCA.
2) Esta competencia tiene un cupo de 60 competidores, revisa si todavía hay cupo en la sección Competidores.
3) Si es tu primera competencia oficial, puedes pasar al paso número 4:
- Si ya has participado en otra competencia oficial y ya tienes vinculada tu cuenta, puedes pasar al punto número 4.
- Si ya has participado en otra competencia oficial pero no tienes vinculado tu WCA ID, realiza los pasos del siguiente video y una vez vinculada tu cuenta procede al registro.
- Si ya has competido y tu WCA ID no está vinculado, tu registro no será aceptado. Anticípate.
4) El día sabado 31 de enero a las 6:00 PM GMT-6 (America/Bahia_Banderas), entra a la sección Registro, selecciona tus categorías y haz clic en "registrarse".
5) Revisa tu correo electrónico, incluyendo la bandeja de SPAM. Si eres de los primeros 60 competidores, recibirás un correo con la información sobre cómo pagar la inscripción, recuerda que son $220.00 MXN. En caso que el cupo haya sido alcanzado, recibirás información de la lista de espera.
6) Una vez hayas cumplido con los pasos indicados en el correo, tu registro será aceptado.
Si tienes alguna duda o problema con tu registro, comunícate con el equipo organizador inmediatamente mediante las redes sociales del Vallarta Speed (Facebook), Vallarta Speed (Instagram) o por correo vallarta.speed@gmail.com.
Toma en cuenta que los registros se aprueban manualmente, por lo que es posible que tu registro no se apruebe de inmediato, pero confía en que seguimos la aprobación en el orden de llegada. Verifica que estés dentro de la lista de competidores.
Permanece atento a tu correo incluyendo la bandeja de SPAM para cualquier noticia o actualización de la competencia. Una vez que los registros estén completos los horarios podrán sufrir ajustes y actualizaciones.

Before registering, carefully read the following steps you must follow, you must comply with all:
1) Sign up or log in on the WCA website.
2) This competition has a limit of 60 competitors, check if there is still space available in the Competitors section.
3) If this is your first official competition, you can proceed to step number 4:
- If you have already participated in another official competition and your account is linked, you can proceed to step number 4.
- If you have participated in another official competition but your WCA ID is not linked, follow the steps in the following video and once your account is linked, proceed to register.
- If you have competed before and your WCA ID is not linked, your registration will not be accepted. Anticipate.
4) On Saturday, January 31th at 6:00 PM GMT-6 (America/Bahia_Banderas), go to the Registration section, select your events, and click "register".
5) Check your email, including the SPAM folder. If you are one of the first 60 competitors, you will receive an email with information on how to pay the registration fee, remember it is $220.00 MXN. If the limit has been reached, you will receive information about the waiting list.
6) Once you have completed the steps indicated in the email, your registration will be accepted.

Waitlist Information:

En Avión
La sede se encuentra a 15 minutos en carro del Aeropuerto Internacional de Puerto Vallarta, puedes tomar transporte/taxi o Uber.
Una vez en el aeropuerto deberas cruzar la carretera hacia la parada mas cercana.

Una vez el camión de vuelta en Nuevo Nayarit en la terminal de Vallarta Plus la parada es justo después del Restaurante Fredy´s Tucán Nuevo Nayarit, una vez abajo solo tendrás que cruzar la calle para poder acceder al Hotel Gran Nayar.
En Autobus
La sede se encuentra a 15 minutos en carro de la Central de autobuses de Puerto Vallarta, puedes tomar transporte/taxi o Uber.
Una vez en la parada deberas caminar en dirección a Av. Palma Real para posteriormente girar a la derecha y continuar recto hasta llegar a la gasolinera Global Gas, ahi se encuentra la parada.

Once at the bus stop, walk towards Av. Palma Real, then turn right and continue straight until you reach the Global Gas station. The bus stop is located there.

Time limit
If you reach the time limit during your solve, the judge will stop you and your result will be DNF (see Regulation A1a4).
Cutoff
The result to beat to proceed to the second phase of a cutoff round (see Regulation 9g).
Format
The format describes how to determine the ranking of competitors based on their results. The list of allowed formats per event is described in Regulation 9b. See Regulation 9f for a description of each format.
