Der Eintritt ist an beiden Tagen für Teilnehmer und Gäste kostenlos. Dennoch ist die Anmeldung für Teilnehmer unbedingt notwendig. Eine Nichtteilnahme trotz Anmeldung ist so schnell wie möglich dem Organisations-Team per Mail (hessen-open@gmx.de) zu mitzuteilen.
Teilnehmer auf der Wartelsite werden in der Reihenfolge ihrer vollständigen Anmeldung bis zum 22. Mai 2020 (20:00 Uhr deutscher Zeit), wenn ein bereits angemeldeter Telnehmer absagt. Es ist möglich die angemeldeten Events bis zum Abend des 21. Mai 2020 (20:00 Uhr deutscher Zeit) zu ändern.
Entrance will be free on both days! However registration is required. If you want to cancel your registration, write an E-Mail to the Organisation immediately (hessen-open@gmx.de).
Competitors on the waiting list can move up in the order of their complete registration until 22nd of May 2020 (Germany local time 20:00), if an already registered competitor cancels his or her registration. It is possible to change selection of events until evening of 21st May 2020 (Germany local time 20:00).

Wir möchten darauf hinweisen, dass das Stattfinden des Wettbewerbes aufgrund der unvorhersehbaren Entwicklungen bzgl. des Corona Virus untersagt werden kann. Aus diesem Grund wurde der Anmeldestart auf den 19. April verschoben. Die Situation wird in der ersten Aprilwoche erneut bewertet.

Due to unpredictable conditions regarding the spreading of the corona virus the organization of the competition may be prohibited. The situation will be reevaluated in the first week of April. Hence registration start is postponed on the 19th of april.

Falls dies dein erstes WCA Turnier sein sollte, beachte bitte die folgenden Punkte:
* Alle Neulinge sind dazu verpflichtet ein Ausweisdokument an der Anmeldung vor zu zeigen (Regulation 2e). Aus dem Dokument müssen Name, Nationalität und Geburtsdatum hervorgehen.
* Alle Neulinge sind eindringlich gebeten, am Tutorial (siehe Zeitplan) teilzunehmen.
* Jeder Teilnehmer sollte bereits vor der Meisterschaft mindestens einmal die offiziellen Regeln der WCA gelesen haben. Zusätzlich ist ein Blick in unsere Teilnehmer-Anleitung sowie das WCA Competition Tutorial mehr als ratsam für alle Neulinge!
* Keine Angst: während des Turniers besteht die Möglichkeit, sich mit dem offiziellen Equipment (Stackmat-Timer) vertraut zu machen und Fragen zu stellen.
* Bei wichtigen Fragen vor dem Turnier kannst du dich gerne per Mail an das Organisationsteam (hessen-open@gmx.de) wenden.
* Beachte bitte, dass Du wichtige Hinweise zum Wettbewerb per Mail zugeschickt bekommst. Bitte überprüfe daher regelmäßig Deinen Posteingang.

If this is your first WCA competition, please pay attention to the following:
- According to Regulation 2e), all newcomers are required to bring some form of identification document that shows name, citizenship and date of birth.
- All newcomers are urgently asked to attend the Tutorial (see schedule).
- Every competitor should have read the official WCA regulations at least once before attending the competition! A more condensed version of the important regulations can be found at the WCA Competition Tutorial.
- Don't be afraid: there will also be time to test the equipment (for example the official timing device, the Stackmat timer) and discuss the rules if you have questions at the competition.
- Feel free to contact the organizer via Email (hessen-open@gmx.de) if you have any uncertainties.
- Important informations regarding the compeittion will be sent to you via mail. Please check your account regularly.
Während und vor der Competition wird jeder Anfänger die Gelegenheit bekommen, sich mit dem offiziellen Equipment (Stackmat Timer) vertraut zu machen. Bei Bedarf werden natürlich auch genug Leute vor Ort sein, die die Regeln erklären können. Trotzdem sollte jeder Teilnehmer bereits vor dem Wettbewerb mindestens einmal die offiziellen Regeln der WCA gelesen haben. Auch ein Blick in unsere Teilnehmer Anleitung lohnt sich für alle Neulinge!

Im Erdgeschoss der Venue befindet sich ein kleines Café, das auch als Aufenthaltsraum genutzt werden kann. Dort werden Snacks und Getränke angeboten.

Time limit
If you reach the time limit during your solve, the judge will stop you and your result will be DNF (see Regulation A1a4).
A cumulative time limit may be enforced (see Regulation A1a2).
Cutoff
The result to beat to proceed to the second phase of a cutoff round (see Regulation 9g).
Format
The format describes how to determine the ranking of competitors based on their results. The list of allowed formats per event is described in Regulation 9b. See Regulation 9f for a description of each format.
