¡Tehuacán vuelve a alzar el vuelo!
Tras 8 años, y de la mano de la Preparatoria Federal por Cooperación Gilberto Martínez Gutiérrez, el desafío del Cubo Rubik regresa a la cuna del maíz, donde la velocidad, estrategia y visión de halcón se ponen a prueba.

Halcones Tehuacán 2026 es una competencia oficial de la WCA por lo que todos los competidores deben estar familiarizados con el Reglamento.

Tehuacán takes flight once again!
After 8 years, and with the support of the Preparatoria Federal Gilberto Martínez Gutiérrez, the Rubik’s Cube challenge returns to the cradle of maize, where speed, strategy, and hawk-like vision are put to the test.

Halcones Tehuacán 2026 is a WCA official competition, hence all participants should be familiar with the Regulations.

If this is not your first competition, associate your WCA ID to your WCA account here.

There is a competitor limit of 100 competitors.
The base registration fee for this competition is $200 (Mexican Peso).
The registration fee has to be paid through Stripe here once registered.
If your registration is cancelled before you will be refunded 45% of your registration fee.
Registrants on the waiting list may be accepted onto the competitor list until .
If you are a registered competitor you may change your registered events until on the Register tab.
No on the spot registrations will be accepted.
Any spectator can attend for free.

Antes de registrarte lee detenidamente los siguientes pasos a seguir para llevar de manera correcta tu inscripción.	Before registering read carefully all of the steps to follow the correct registration
1.- Crea una cuenta o inicia sesión en la página de la WCA.	1.- sign up o sign in in the WCA website.
2.- En la pestaña registrarse, selecciona solo los eventos en los que deseas participar y pulsa el botón de Registrarte. La tarifa base de esta competencia es de $200 pesos mexicanos.	2. - In the register tab, only select the events you will participate in and press the register button.The rate of this competition is MXN $200.

4.- Toma en cuenta que los registros se aprueban manualmente después del pago, por lo que es posible que tu registro no se apruebe de inmediato, pero confía en que seguimos la aprobación en el orden de llegada. Verifica que estés dentro de la lista de competidores.	4.- Keep in mind that the registrations are manually approved after the payment, so it is possible that your registration doesn't get approved immediately, but trust that we will keep the aprovements in the arrival order. Verify that you are on the list of competitors.
5.- Permanece atento a tu correo incluyendo la bandeja de SPAM para cualquier noticia o actualización de la competencia. Una vez que los registros estén completos los horarios podrán sufrir ajustes y actualizaciones.	5.- Keep an eye on your email, including the SPAM folder, for any news or updates on the competition. Once the registration is completed, the schedules can be modified or updated.

Desde central de autobuses de Tehuacán (ADO o AU)

Recomendamos ocupar el servicio de taxis de la propia terminal y mencionar que van a la "prepa federal" o en dado caso, utilizar la app "pronto" para movilizarse a la sede. Importante: la ciudad no cuenta con la app de Uber o Didi, es por ello que se recomienda utilizar la app de pronto.

* Al llegar solo dile a los de seguridad que vas al Auditorio para el torneo de Rubik.

Información de la lista de espera:

Si se ha alcanzado el límite de 100 competidores, aún puedes registrarte y pagar la cuota de la competencia para asegurar un lugar en la lista de espera.
Hasta el 31 de enero de 2026, cualquier competidor puede cancelar su registro y permitir que la primera persona en la lista de espera ocupe su lugar.
Después del 31 de enero, se les eliminará de la lista de espera y todos lo competidores en ella recibirán un rembolso del 100%.
Estar en la lista de espera no asegura de ninguna manera obtener un lugar en la competencia. Ningún competidor en lista de espera podrá participar los días de la competencia.
Si estás en lista de espera puedes solicitar el reembolso del 100% de tu pago en cualquier momento por correo.

Waitlist information:

If the limit of 100 competitors has been reached, you can still register and pay the competition fee to secure a spot on the waitlist.
Until January 31st, any competitor can cancel their registration and allow the first person on the waitlist to take their place.
After January 3st, they will be removed from the waitlist and all competitors on it will receive a 100% refund.
Being on the waitlist does not guarantee a spot in the competition in any way. No competitor on the waitlist will be able to participate on the competition days.
If you are on the waitlist, you can request a 100% refund of your payment at any time by mail.

Time limit

If you reach the time limit during your solve, the judge will stop you and your result will be DNF (see Regulation A1a4).

Cutoff

The result to beat to proceed to the second phase of a cutoff round (see Regulation 9g).

Format

The format describes how to determine the ranking of competitors based on their results. The list of allowed formats per event is described in Regulation 9b. See Regulation 9f for a description of each format.
