Photographs and video recordings will take place during the event and may be used by Asociación Mexicana de Speedcubing for promotional, documentation, and outreach purposes.

Registration requirements

Create a WCA account here if you don't have one.
If this is not your first competition, associate your WCA ID to your WCA account here.
Register for this competition here.
There is a competitor limit of 60 competitors.
The base registration fee for this competition is $220 (Mexican Peso).
If your registration is cancelled before you will be refunded 50% of your registration fee.
Registrants on the waiting list may be accepted onto the competitor list until .
If you are a registered competitor you may change your registered events until on the Register tab.
On the spot registrations will be accepted if there are remaining spots available, with a base registration fee of $250 (Mexican Peso).
Any spectator can attend for free.

En la pestaña ¿Cómo Registrarse? está la información detallada para realizar el registro.
Un vez que te registres el equipo organizador te mandara un correo electrónico con los datos bancarios para que puedas realizar el pago de tu inscripción.
Tendrás 48 horas para realizar el pago, de lo contrario se dará el lugar al siguiente en la lista.
Si realizas el pago fuera del lapso, pasaras al ultimó en la lista de pagados o en lista de espera.
Tu registro no estará completo hasta que hayas completado todos los pasos en el correo que te enviaremos.
Los registros se aprueban manualmente, por lo que tu registro no se aprobará de inmediato, pero confía en que seguimos la aprobación en el orden de llegada.
Basado en las reglas de la WCA 1e2 y 1f2, todos los competidores deberán estar disponibles para mezclar o juecear.
Sólo se aceptarán competidores nuevos o competidores con su WCAid vinculado.
Los competidores nuevos deberan de llevar una identificación oficial y presentarla en el Check-in de la competencia.

In the tab How to register is the detailed information to register.
Once you register, the organizing team will send you an email with the bank details so you can make your registration payment.
You will have 48 hours to complete the payment; otherwise, your spot will be given to the next person on the list.
If you make the payment after the deadline, you will be moved to the end of the paid list or to the waiting list.
Your registration will not be complete until you have completed all the steps in the e-mail we will send you.
Keep in mind: the registrations are manually approved, so your registration will not get approved immediately, but trust that we will keep the aprovements in the arrival order.
Based on the WCA regulations 1e2 and 1f2, all competitors must be available to scramble or judge.
Only new competitors or competitors with their WCAid linked will be accepted.
New competitors must present official identification at the Check-in area of the competition.

Si ya has asistido a otra competencia oficial y ya tienes vinculada tu cuenta, puedes pasar al punto número 2.
Si ya has participado en otra competencia oficial pero no tienes vinculado tu WCAId, realiza los pasos del siguiente video Como reclamar WCAid

2.- En la Pestaña de registro Registro selecciona tus categorias y da clic en "registrarse". Recuerda que el registro abre el día domingo, 31 de Mayo de 2026, 8:00 p.m. GMT-6

3.- Recibirás un correo con la información para realizar el pago correspondiente. La tarifa de esta competencia es de $ 220 MXN. (doscientos veinte pesos MXN.). Tu registro no está completo hasta que se haya pagado la cuota de registro.

4.- Si tienes alguna duda o problema con tu registro, comunícate con el equipo organizador inmediatamente mediante oaxacarubiks@gmail.com

5.- Toma en cuenta que los registros se aprueban manualmente después del pago, por lo que es posible que tu registro no se apruebe de inmediato, pero confía en que seguimos la aprobación en el orden de llegada.

6.- Corrobora apareces en la sección competidores.

7.- Permanece atento a tu correo incluyendo la bandeja de SPAM para cualquier noticia o actualización de la competencia. Una vez que los registros estén completos los horarios podrán sufrir ajustes y actualizaciones.

If you have already attended another official competition and have already linked your account, you can go to point number 2.
If you have already participated in another official competition but you do not have your WCAId linked, perform the following steps how to claim

2.- In the Registration tab, choose your events and click on “register”. Remember that registration opens on May 31th at 8:00 PM GMT-6

3.- You will receive an email with the details to make the corresponding payment of $220 MXN (two hundred and twenty pesos MXN.). **Your registration is not complete until the registration fee has been paid.

4.- If you have any questions or problems with your registration, immediately contact the organizing team through oaxacarubiks@gmail.com

5.- Please note that registrations are manually approved after payment, so it is possible that your registration will not be approved immediately, but rest assured that we follow the approval in the order of arrival.

6.- Verify you appear in the section competitors.

7.- Stay tuned to your email, including the SPAM folder, for any news or updates about the competition. Once registrations are complete, schedules may undergo adjustments and updates.

Tomar un taxi saliendo de la terminal y solicitar ir a la Universidad Autónoma Benito Juárez en Av. Universidad , la distancia es media (toma de 10-15 minutos llegar), el precio del taxi puede rondar de los $80 - $120

En Bus o transporte público:
Oaxaca cuenta con transporte público de Gobierno y de empresa

Las Rutas de mayor transcurso de ambos es en el Blvd Eduardo Vascocelos y en el Parque Júarez El Llano (Av Juárez)

El servicio de Gobierno BinniBus tiene un costo de $8MXN , procurar pagar exacto debido a que este servicio cuenta con alcancia, no acepta billetes y no da cambio. Se puede pagar con moneda de 10, pero no dara cambio. Estos camiones cuentan con parada especial, procurar hacer la parada en ese lugar.

Arriving at the ADO Bus Terminal
By Taxi:
Take a taxi from the terminal and ask to be taken to the Benito Juárez Autonomous University on Avenida Universidad. The distance is moderate (it takes 10-15 minutes to get there). The taxi fare can range from $80 to $120 MXN.

By Bus or Public Transportation:
Oaxaca has both government and private public transportation.

The most frequent routes for both are on Boulevard Eduardo Vascocelos and at Parque Juárez El Llano (Avenida Juárez).

The BinniBus government service costs $8 MXN. Please pay the exact fare, as this service uses a fare box and does not accept bills or give change. You can pay with a 10 MXN coin, but no change will be given. These buses have a designated stop; please get off there. PATROCINADORES

Time limit

If you reach the time limit during your solve, the judge will stop you and your result will be DNF (see Regulation A1a4).

Cutoff

The result to beat to proceed to the second phase of a cutoff round (see Regulation 9g).

Format

The format describes how to determine the ranking of competitors based on their results. The list of allowed formats per event is described in Regulation 9b. See Regulation 9f for a description of each format.

Advancement Condition

The number of competitors shown as advancing to the next round is the planned maximum. The actual number may be lower if there are fewer competitors than expected, or if there are ties at the boundary.
