Information

Welcome to Greenwoods Summer Overtime 2026.

This competition serves as the sequel to Greenwoods Clock Clash 2026 and will feature Clock as the main event. Additional official events include 3×3, Megaminx, Skewb, 3x3 One-Handed (OH), 3x3 Fewest Moves (FMC), and 5×5 Blindfolded (5BLD).

The competition will also include the unofficial event 3×3 Team Blindfolded. Participation in unofficial events is entirely optional and will not affect official competition results. Additional unofficial events, including 1×3×3 Floppy Cube and Magic, are tentative and may be added depending on schedule availability and logistical considerations. Please refer to the Unofficial Events tab for further details.

All competitors and guests are encouraged to carefully review the information tabs on this page for details regarding the competition schedule, event regulations, venue guidelines, and registration procedures. Familiarizing yourself with this information will help ensure the competition runs smoothly and that all participants have an enjoyable experience.

The base registration fee for this competition is ₱550 (Philippine Peso).
Registration fees won't be refunded under any circumstance.
Registrants on the waiting list may be accepted onto the competitor list until .
If you are a registered competitor you may change your registered events until on the Register tab.
On the spot registrations will be accepted if there are remaining spots available, with a base registration fee of ₱650 (Philippine Peso).

🌍 Foreign Competitor Requirement

Foreign competitors may choose to pay their registration fee at the venue. However, they are still required to follow the registration steps and submit valid proof of travel as stated below.

All foreign competitors must submit proof of travel (valid plane ticket or booking confirmation) on or before April 13, 2026.

FIRST TIME COMPETITORS

All newcomers are required to read the WCA First-time Competitor Guide document to familiarize yourself of the WCA regulations used to govern WCA-sanctioned competitions. Additionally, please watch this competitor tutorial by WCA Senior Delegate Kit Clement of the USA.

ALL COMPETITORS

Please make sure to bring your Vaccination Card in case that the venue requires you to present it.

When you arrive at the competition venue, kindly follow the following steps:
1. Head to the registration table and sign on the competitor masterlist.
2. Get your Certificate of Participation, Event Schedule and grouping/officiating Team Assignment. You will be assigned to officiate at some point during the competition so be sure to take note of your assignement to avoid being disqualified. As per WCA Regulation 1e2, all competitors must be ready to officiate when called or assigned to. Declining such assignment merits disqualification at the discretion of the WCA Delegate.
3. Go inside the venue hall and wait for the competition to start.

From Marikina, Quiapo and Taguig commuters

a. Marikina, Quiapo and Taguig Areas have jeepneeys going to Pasig Market (Palengke) directly. Ride the jeep and tell the driver that you are going to Jollibee Palengke (a well known landmark of Pasig Palengke)

b. From there, go down from your jeep and go to tricycle terminal just the right side of Jollibee and look for yellow tricycle terminal (SPRGREYTODA). Tell the driver that you are going to Greenwoods Area 3 Phase 7 court. The fare is around P17 from the terminal to venue.

From Cubao Commuters

a. Go to the old Araneta Center Bus Terminal and look for a white minibus with a Cubao - Rosario (Sta. Lucia Pasig) Route. At the end of the route, you should be at Puregold Rosario-Pasig (shown below).

b. From there, ride another jeep/minibus going to Pasig Palengke then follow the step b instructions of "From Marikina, Quiapo, and Taguig commuters" .

This competition will also hold unofficial events. The results will be recorded through Cubing Contests, and will then be added to the rankings.

Event Format Time Limit Description & Rules
3x3x3 Team Blind Average of 5 15:00.00 Cumulative Solve a 3x3x3 cube as a team with a blindfolded solver and a caller who is not allowed to touch the cube or the solver’s arms below the elbow. There is no inspection time.
Super 1×3×3 Cuboid (Tentative) Average of 5 1:00.00 Solve the Super 1×3×3 Cuboid puzzle from a scrambled state to the solved state. Spinner versions of the puzzle are not allowed. The permutation of the eight small inner pieces does not matter when determining the solved state.
Magic (Tentative) Average of 5 1:00.00 The solve consists of going from the lined ring pattern to the unlinked ring pattern, as configured in the original mass-produced puzzle. The WCA Regulations for Magic from 2010 apply.

Super 1×3×3 Cuboid Notes

The standard 1×3×3 Floppy Cube allows only 180-degree turns and contains four centers and four edges.
The Super 1×3×3 Cuboid (Super Floppy Cube) allows 90-degree turns and contains four centers and twelve edges, including additional edges located within the center of each 3×3 face.

Notes:

  • Competitors who wish to participate in unofficial events must register online so organizers can generate scorecards for the events you plan to join. 3×3 Team Blindfolded has a fixed schedule. Super 1×3×3 Cuboid and Magic are tentative and may be attempted flexibly if time and resources allow.
  • Up to 5 Super 1×3×3 Cuboids (Super Floppy Cubes) may be provided by the organizers for use during the event, depending on availability.
  • Please ensure unofficial events do not interfere with your official attempts.
  • To help keep the competition running smoothly, competitors are encouraged to complete all unofficial events in one sitting whenever possible.
  • Magic does not require a dedicated scrambler and may be completed between official attempts or during scheduled breaks.
  • While unofficial events are meant to be fun, please play fairly and follow the rules, as all results will still be recorded.
  • Follow all instructions from organizers or staff. Failure to do so may result in ineligibility to participate in unofficial events.
  • Questions regarding procedures or scheduling may be directed to the organizers.
  • Keep designated solving areas clean and organized for other competitors.
  • For team events, ensure all participants understand the rules before starting.

Registration Procedure:

Participation in unofficial events is limited to competitors who are registered for official events at this competition. All competitors must follow this procedure to be eligible to participate in unofficial events.

To register:

  1. Open the Unofficial Events Sign-Up Sheet.
  2. Fill in the following information for each competitor:

  4. WCA ID (if you have one)
  5. Event(s) you plan to participate in (tick the boxes for Team Blindfolded, 1x3x3 Floppy Cube, and Magic)
  6. Team Blindfolded Partner Name (required if registering for Team Blindfolded)
  7. Submit your registration by Monday, April 14, 2026 (GMT+8) — the last Monday before the competition. Late or incomplete registrations may not be accepted.
  8. Ensure all information is accurate, as organizers will generate unofficial scorecards based on this sheet.

Important: Failure to follow this procedure will result in ineligibility to participate in unofficial events, even if you attempt them on-site.

Time limit

If you reach the time limit during your solve, the judge will stop you and your result will be DNF (see Regulation A1a4).
A cumulative time limit may be enforced (see Regulation A1a2).

Cutoff

The result to beat to proceed to the second phase of a cutoff round (see Regulation 9g).

Format

The format describes how to determine the ranking of competitors based on their results. The list of allowed formats per event is described in Regulation 9b. See Regulation 9f for a description of each format.
