New competitors are considered to have no WCA ID or a WCA ID with 2024. Returning competitors are considered to have a WCA ID that is from 2023 or earlier. The entry fees for competitors is €10, guests can attend free of charge.
If you are on the waiting list: we will send the first person on the waiting list an e-mail whenever a spot becomes available. You can claim the spot if you reply within 48 hours after we send you the e-mail. If your registration is not accepted before the competition, we will refund your entry fee.

How to register for the waiting list
- Fill in the form on this site.
- Pay the entry fee. You can only pay by credit card via the WCA website!
- Then, we will accept your registration and your name will show up on the registration list. Your registration will only be complete as soon as we have received your payment. Registrations will be accepted based on the moment of payment.
Cancellation
If you registered but are unable to attend for some reason, you can cancel your registration by sending an email to the organizers. If you do this before Friday, March 8 at 8PM, we will refund half of your entry fee.
Change events
If you want to change the events you're registered for, you can do so yourself on the same place where you registered. You can do this until Friday, March 8 at 8PM.

This competition is participating in the official WCA Newcomer Month 2024. The registration process will reserve 20 spots for new competitors. New competitors are considered to have no WCA ID or a WCA ID with 2024. Returning competitors are considered to have a WCA ID that is from 2023 or earlier. All competitors must still follow all registration requirements for their registration to be considered complete. Your registration is only complete after paying the registration fee via the WCA website. Registrations will be accepted based on the moment of payment
Registrations will be accepted based on the following:
* 20 spots are reserved for new competitors.
* Initially, 40 spots are available for returning competitors on a first come, first serve basis.
* If more than 20 new competitors register before 40 spots are filled by returning competitors, any additional new competitors will be accepted on a first come, first serve basis alongside returning competitors.
* If the spots reserved for new competitors are not filled by new competitors before registration closes two weeks prior to the competition, remaining spots, up to the competitor limit, will be accepted from registered returning competitors.
The venue is located in school cafetaria 'the Club' (Gasthuisstraat 4, 2440 Geel)
By car: There is a free parking lot nearby the school (image below). The entrance to this parking lot is located at Logen 5, Geel. You can use the big parking lot (large green square) and the school’s parking lot, located in the Amandus De Vosstraat (small green square). From here, it’s a 5 minute walk (300m) to the venue.

Public transportation: The venue is a 20 minute walk from Geel train station, which has direct connections from Antwerp. There will be construction works during the weekend. A replacement bus will be in use. Plan your train trip on https://www.belgiantrain.be.

Time limit
If you reach the time limit during your solve, the judge will stop you and your result will be DNF (see Regulation A1a4).
Format
The format describes how to determine the ranking of competitors based on their results. The list of allowed formats per event is described in Regulation 9b. See Regulation 9f for a description of each format.
