En coche particular

Puente la Reina-Gares cuenta con muy buen acceso por carretera:

Desde Pamplona (aprox. 20 km):
Tomar la carretera A-12 (Autovía del Camino) en dirección Logroño y salir en la salida hacia Puente la Reina. El trayecto dura unos 20–25 minutos.
Desde Logroño (aprox. 50 km):
Acceder por la A-12 en dirección Pamplona y tomar la salida correspondiente.
Desde otras zonas:
La A-12 conecta fácilmente con la red de autovías principales, facilitando el acceso desde distintos puntos del norte de España.

IMPORTANTE: APARCAMIENTO

Todo el casco histórico de la localidad tiene restringida la circulación, solamente para residentes.
La Casa del Vínculo, donde se celebra la competición está situado dentro del casco histórico, por lo que no se puede acceder hasta ella en coche. Alrededor de la zona peatonal es sencillo encontrar sitio para aparcar, no obstante, por amplitud y cercanía se recomienda aparcar en la zona del colegio:

Puente la Reina-Gares has very good road access:

From Pamplona (approx. 20 km):
Take the A-12 (Autovía del Camino) towards Logroño and exit toward Puente la Reina. The journey takes about 20–25 minutes.

Nuevos competidores

Si es la primera vez que compites, es importante que te vayas familiarizando con el Reglamento. Este Reglamento es algo extenso y contiene mucha información dentro, así que no te preocupes si no te acuerdas de todo. Por este motivo, aconsejamos que veas este video explicativo a cerca de las normas y procedimientos básicos que hay que saber para poder asistir como competidor: Tutorial para competir. También haremos un pequeño tutorial tal y como marca el horario, al que te recomendamos que asistas.

Los nuevos competidores tendrán que llevar un documento de identidad que verifique el país de procedencia y fecha de nacimiento. Puede ser tanto el DNI, como el libro de familia, el carnet de conducir, etc. Sólo es necesario que aparezca tu nombre completo, fecha de nacimiento y nacionalidad.

Si tienes alguna pregunta, te recomendamos que consultes la pestaña de PMF antes de consultarnos a nosotros, aunque estás más que bienvenido a escribirnos al correo que aparece en la página de Información General.
Información para todos los competidores

Por favor, ¡ayuda a hacer de juez! Siempre terminan siendo los mismos los que hacen de juez. ¡No es nada difícil hacerlo y ayudas a que el campeonato se agilice! En las acreditaciones que se os darán con la inscripción aparecen los grupos en los que estáis obligados a hacer de juez, pero también podéis hacer de jueces aunque no os toque. Si estás interesado en aprender a hacer de juez se hará un pequeño tutorial el sábado antes de empezar.

Las fotos sin flash. Esta norma se aplica a todo el recinto, ya que distrae mucho a los competidores.

Si eres un espectador, por favor no entres en la zona de competición y bajo ningún concepto estés a menos de metro y medio de una de las mesas de competición (Regulation 7b).

Por favor, cuida el lugar, mantén la zona limpia y lo más ordenada posible.

Hay miles de puzzles en estos campeonatos, no dejes cubos en las mesas de mezclas o de competición. ¡Mantén tus puzzles juntos para que no los pierdas!

Durante las pruebas a ciegas, hay que estar en completo silencio. Estas pruebas requieren mucha concentración y cualquier pequeño ruido podría desconcentrar. Anunciaremos cuando empiece el evento y cuando se podrá volver a hablar.

New Competitors

If you are a new competitor, it is important that you are familiar with the Regulations. The regulations are very long and are quite a lot to take in so don't worry if you don't remember it all! Because of this, we have a video that explains the competing procedure which we recommend to watch before attending: Competing Tutorial. We will also be holding an introduction to competing as per the Schedule which we recommend you attend as well.

New competitors must bring some form of ID to show at the competition to confirm the country they wish to compete for and the date of birth registered with. The usual items of ID that people bring are Passports, Birth Certificates, Driver's Licenses, etc. As long as it has your name, date of birth, and country, then it will be fine.

Information for All Competitors

Please help judge! We rely very heavily on regular competitors to make the competition run to schedule. It is not very difficult to do and you help to do the championship faster!. If you'd like to learn the procedure then we will explain it in a tutorial the saturday before starting.

No flash photography under any circumstance within the venue. It is extremely distracting for competitors.

If you are a spectator, please stay 1.5m away from competitors at all times as per Regulation 7b.

Please treat the venue with respect, put all of your rubbish in bins or black bin bags and keep your area tidy.

There are thousands of puzzles at these events, make sure to keep yours together so you don't lose them!

During blindfolded events, please stay silent within the venue. These events require a high amount of concentration and any noise can be distracting. We will announce when the silence will begin and when you may talk within the venue again.

P: ¿Cómo me registro?

R: Sí, mientras el plazo de inscripción siga abierto puedes cambiarlo tú mismo en la pestaña de Registro. Si el registro ya se ha cerrado, por favor, no mandes ninguna petición de cambio de eventos. Si el dia de la competición decides no participar en alguna categoría simplemente ve a la mesa de mezclas cuando te toque competir y dile a uno de los Delegados que no te vas a presentar.

P: Ya no puedo asistir, ¿qué debo hacer?
R: Lo primero que tienes que hacer es informarnos vía email tan pronto como lo sepas para que otro competidor pueda ocupar tu lugar. Ofrrecemos un reembolso parcial si se avisa con más de dos semanas de antelación.

P: ¿Cómo de rápido tengo que ser para poder competir?
R: Te recomendamos que mires la tabla del Horario para informarte de los tiempos límite de cada prueba. La mayoría de gente va a las competiciones para conocer a gente con la que comparten esta afición sin importar los tiempos o sencillamente a tratar de mejorar sus propios tiempos personales, ¡todo el mundo es apto para competir y pasarlo bien!

P: ¿Hay categorías para diferentes edades?
R: Todos los competidores participan en las mismas condiciones y participantes de todas las edades son bienvenidos. La mayoría de gente suele tener unos 15-20 años, pero también hay gente más joven y más mayor.

P: ¿Tengo que usar mis propios cubos para competir?
R: ¡Sí! Asegúrate de traer puzzles para todos los eventos en los que compitas y no los pierdas de vista.

P: ¿Puedo ir simplemente como espectador?
R: Sí, además la entrada es completamente gratuita para los espectadores. Echa un vistazo al horario del campeonato para que puedas venir a ver los eventos que más te interesen o enterarte de cuando son las finales. Solo se permite un acompañante por persona, los demás pueden subir a los palcos, desde donde se puede observar la competición en todo su esplendor.

P: ¿Cúando debo estar en el campeonato?
R: Recomendamos que te inscribas dentro de los plazos de inscripción que hay asignados en el horario. Estate siempre al menos 15 minutos antes de que empiece la primera ronda en la que compitas.

P: ¿Qué debo hacer cuando llegue?
R: Lo primero que hay que hacer es ir a la mesa de registro para que te podamos dar los regalos de inscripción y la acreditación. Si no hay nadie en la mesa, busca a alguien con la camiseta de staff para que te atienda.

P: ¿Debo estar durante todo el campeonato?
R: Sólo es necesario que estés cuando tengas que competir o hacer de juez/runner/mezclador. Se te dará un papel en el registro con todos tus horarios, fuera de ese horario agradeceríamos que estuviéseis en el recinto, cuanta más ayuda mejor!

P: ¿Donde miro los resultados y si paso a la siguiente ronda?
R: Los tiempos y clasificaciones de la competición se subirán a esta página unos días después de la competición. Los resultados en directo los encontrarás en WCA Live.

G: Nola erregistratu?

Q: How do I register?
A: First you need to make sure you have created a WCA account. You can do this by going to the sign-up page and creating an account. Once you have created the account and confirmed your email address, go to the Register section and follow the instructions carefully.

Q: Why am I not on the registration list yet?
A: Please make sure that you have followed the instructions in the Register section. You could also be on the waiting list. The competitor limit can be found on the General Info page, and you can see the number on accepted competitors on the Competitors page. If you have done everything correctly and the competition is not full then just be patient. We have to manually approve registrations and the organisers aren't available all the time. If you believe you have followed the steps correctly but still are not on the registration list after 2 days, then feel free to email us at the contact link on the General Info page.

Q: Can I change the events I am registered for?
A: As long as registration is still open, yes you are allowed to change events. Email us with the events you would like to change. If registration is closed then please do not email us with event changes. If at the competition you decide that you do not want to compete in an event, come up to the scramble table when your group is called and simply tell one of the Delegates that you are not going to compete.

Q: I am no longer able to attend, what do I do?
A: The first thing you need to do is tell us as soon as you know via the contact link on the General Info page. Competitions generally fill up quite quickly and letting us know that you can't attend means we can add someone from the waiting list. We offer partial refunds if you let us know with two weeks or more in advance.

Q: How fast do I have to be to compete?
A: We recommend that you check out the Schedule tab - if you can make the time limit for the events you want to compete in, then you're fast enough! Loads of people come to competitions just to beat their own personal bests, and meet likeminded people, with no intention of winning or even making it past the first round.

Q: Are there different age categories?
A: All competitors compete on the same level and all ages are welcome. In general most are aged 15-20 but we have plenty of regulars who are older or younger than this!

Q: Do I use my own cubes to compete?
A: Yes! Make sure to bring cubes for all events you are competing in and look after them, you don't want them to go missing.

Q: Can I come only to spectate?
A: Yes! Spectating this competition will be free for everyone. Take a look at the schedule to come to see the events you are more interested in or to know when the finals are happening. Only an spectator per competitor is allowed in the main venue, other people main spectate the event in the gallery.

Q: When do I arrive at the competition?
A: We recommend you to register on the time frames dedicated to that regard, which you can find on the Schedule tab. We recommend you turn up at least 15 minutes before your first event.

Q: What do I do when I arrive?
A: The first thing you do when you arrive is find the registration desk if registration is open. If there is nobody present at the registration desk then find a staff member and we will make sure to register you.

Q: When can I leave the competition?
A: It's only necessary to stay when you have to compete or be a judge/runner/scrambler. You will be given a paper with all your schedules, we kindly ask you to remain at the venue and help as much as you can, so the competition can run smoothly. The groups will be published on the Groups tab too.

Q: How do I find results?
A: All the results will be found on this page a couple of days after the competition, once they have all been checked and uploaded. If you are looking for live results, they can all be found on WCA Live.

Si el límite de competidores se llena, la gente que se registre y abone la cuota de inscripción entra en la lista de espera. Tu puesto en lista de espera se puede comprobar al registrarse. Si se librase un sitio, este será concedido al primero de la lista de espera. Si estás en lista de espera y sabes que ya no puedes acudir, por favor elimina tu registro y se te devolverá el importe íntegro de la inscripción. Si tras cerrar el registro no has entrado a la competición, se te devoverá la cuota íntegra de inscripción.

If the limit of competitors fills up, people who register and pay the registration fee will be put on the waiting list. Your spot on the waiting list can be consulted when registering. If a spot becomes available, it will be given to the first on the waiting list. If you are on the waiting list and know you can no longer attend, please delete your registration and a full refund will be issued. If after closing your registration you have not been offered a spot, your full registration fee will be refunded.

Los resultados se podrán seguir en directo en WCA Live. Los tiempos en esta web son provisionales, y están sujetos a revisión, posterior a la competición.

Emaitzak zuzenean WCA Live-en jarrai ditzakezue. Denborak eta klasifikazioak guztiz behin-behinekoak dira, eta txapelketa eta gero guztiz zuzentzen dira.
