Il n'y aura qu'une seule épreuve : la résolution optimisée (Fewest Moves), pendant laquelle la solution la plus courte à un mélange donné doit être trouvée et écrite sur une feuille en un temps maximum d'une heure. Il n'y aura pas de 3x3 classique lors de cette compétition.
