Välkomna till First Friday First FMC Täby 2024!
Även om denna tävling skiljer sig mycket från en vanlig kubtävling i Sverige så är alla som önskar varmt välkomna att delta. Det är dock extra viktigt att alla deltagare läser all information på denna sida, för att inte missa något gällande denna tävlings speciella upplägg och regler.

Welcome to First Friday First FMC Täby 2024!
Although this competition is very different from a regular speedcubing competition in Sweden, everyone who wishes is warmly welcome to participate. However, it is especially important that all participants read all the information on this page, so as not to miss anything regarding the special structure and rules of this competition.
The event 3x3x3 will not take place in this competition. The only event taking place will be "3x3x3 Fewest Moves"

The base registration fee for this competition is 99 kr (Swedish Krona).
If your registration is cancelled before you will be refunded 75% of your registration fee.
Registrants on the waiting list may be accepted onto the competitor list until .
No on the spot registrations will be accepted.
Any spectator can attend for free.

Anmälan är inte komplett förrän anmälningsavgiften har betalats.
Anmälan kostar 74,25 kr för SveKub-medlemmar, 99 kr för icke-medlemmar.
Alla betalar fullt pris till att börja med, och vi betalar tillbaka 25% till de som är medlemmar.

Om du har anmält dig men sedan inte längre kan komma på tävlingen, mejla oss och informera om detta. Det öppnar upp din plats för någon annan.
Anmälan stänger den 28:e februari, men tänk på att tävlingen kan bli fullsatt innan detta datum, i så fall hamnar din registrering på väntelistan. Notera att anmälningsavgiften måste betalas för att du ska hamna på väntelistan, annars är anmälan inte komplett. Sista anmälningsdag är också sista dagen då det är möjligt få sin anmälan godkänd ifrån väntelistan. Är anmälan vid denna tidpunkt inte godkänd finns tyvärr inte längre någon chans att delta på tävlingen, och du återbetalas hela anmälningsavgiften.
Registration
To attend this competition you need to register online here (scroll to the bottom). We will not accept any registrations on the spot. If you don't already have a WCA-account, you first need to create one here.
Your registration is not completed until the registration fee has been paid.
The registration fee is SEK 74.25 for members of SveKub, and SEK 99 for non-members.
Everyone pays full price at first, and we will refund 25% to members.
Becoming a member of SveKub is free, but only available for Swedish citizens. Read more on our website or become a member now. When you are registered as a member, you can register for the competition as normal. We verify the membership and refund the discount at latest once the registration period has ended.If your name doesn't appear on the competitor list within 48 hours after registering, contact the organizers. (Contact information under the "General info" tab.)
If you have registered but then can't go to the competition, please send an e-mail telling us this as that will leave your spot for somebody else.
Online registration will close on February 28th, but please keep in mind that the competition may fill up earlier than that. In that case, your registration will be put on the waiting list. Note that the registration fee needs to be paid in order to be put on the waiting list, otherwise your registration is not completed. The last registration date is also the last date for when a registration can be accepted from the waiting. If your registration is not yet accepted by this date, then you will unfortunately not be able to compete at this competition, and will be refunded the entire registration fee.

Själva tävlingen kan pågå i bara ett par timmar på en vardagskväll eller en hel långhelg, du bestämmer. This competition is organized together with SveKub.
As a member of SveKub, you always have a 25% discount on competitions. The membership is free, but is only available for Swedish citizens.

To get the discount, you simply need to be registered as a SveKub member. After that, you register as normal and we will verify which competitors are members and which are not. Everyone pays full price at first, and we will then refund 25% to members. We verify the membership and refund the discount at latest once when registration has closed. In the future, we hope to have a slightly more convenient system, but the current registration system can not have different registration fees for different people.
Do you also want to organize a competition?
You can also organize a competition in your city! The only requirement is that you know a venue that would be suitable for a competition. It can be anything from canteens, sport halls, community centers and club or meeting rooms. You decide for how long the competition should run, anything from a couple of hours on a weekday to an entire weekend is a possibility. After that, SveKub can help with what you can't or don't want to do yourself, such as a competition schedule, budget and website. Kom ihåg:
Alla tävande ska ha läst WCA:s Regler. Deltagare förväntas vara bekanta med WCA:s reglemente innan man deltar på en officiell tävling. Reglerna finns även översatta till svenska, men tänk på att det är den engelska originalversionen som gäller om det skulle finnas några skillnader.

Fotografering med blixt är förbjudet i hela lokalen! Blixtar är störande för tävlande. Fotografering utan blixt är tillåtet.
Live-resultat finns på WCA Live. Där kan du se vilka resultat du fick, och ifall du gick vidare till nästa omgång.
Håll koll på er e-mail. Några dagar innan tävlingen skickas deltagarmail ut, där vi tar upp diverse viktig information för deltagare att känna till. I detta mail kommer också eventuella ändringar sedan tävlingen annonserades tas upp. Om det finns annan information som vi snabbt måste kommunicera till deltagare så kommer detta också ske via e-mail, därför är det viktigt att ni håller koll på er e-mail regelbundet.

First competition?
If this is your first WCA competition, welcome! Make sure to read through all tabs on this page as there is a lot of important information there.
If you have never competed before, you should bring a valid ID, for example a passport or driver's licence, to verify your birth date and nationality. If the competitor does not have an ID, a parent can confirm this information.
The event 3x3x3 will not take place in this competition. The only event taking place will be "3x3x3 Fewest Moves"
Remember:
All competitors must have read the WCA Regulations. Participants are expected to be familiar with the WCA Regulations before attending an official competition.
You must be registered for this competetiton online in order to compete! You can register here.
No flash photography in the entire venue! Flash is distracting to the competitors. Pictures without the use of flash are allowed.
Live results can be found on WCA Live. There you can see what results you got, and whether you progressed to the next round.
Check your e-mail A few days before the competition, you will receive a participant email where we will address various important information for participants to know. This email will also include any changes made since the competition was announced. If there is any other urgent information which we need to communicate to competitors, then it will be done through e-mail so therefore it is important that you check your e-mail regularly.

Time limit
If you reach the time limit during your solve, the judge will stop you and your result will be DNF (see Regulation A1a4).
Format
The format describes how to determine the ranking of competitors based on their results. The list of allowed formats per event is described in Regulation 9b. See Regulation 9f for a description of each format.
