This competition is part of the Darmstadt Double 2023 Competition Series. Other competitions in this Series are: Note: You can submit a registration for all competitions in a Series, but only one of those registrations can be confirmed and accepted. You will only be allowed to compete in one of the Series competitions!
There is a competitor limit of 90 competitors.
The base registration fee for this competition is €20 (Euro).
If your registration is cancelled before you will be refunded 100% of your registration fee.
Registrants on the waiting list may be accepted onto the competitor list until .
If you are a registered competitor you may change your registered events until on the Register tab.
No on the spot registrations will be accepted.
Spectators are only permitted as companions of competitors.

3. Zahle die Anmeldegebühr
Die Anmeldegebühr beträgt 20€ und kann über Kreditkarte oder PayPal gezahlt werden.
Ohne (eindeutig zugeordnete) Zahlung gilt die Anmeldung als nicht vollständig und wird nicht bestätigt.

Nachdem du das Anmeldeformular ausgefüllt hast, kannst du im gleichen Fenster die Daten deiner Kreditkarte eingeben.
Die Zahlung erfolgt über den Zahlungsdienstleister Stripe und wird automatisch deiner Anmeldung zugeordnet.

Wichtig für PayPal-Zahlungen:
* Bitte aktiviere nicht den optionalen Käuferschutz, da hierfür eine Gebühr vom gezahlten Eintrittspreis abgezogen wird.
* Falls der Name bei der Zahlung und der Name im Anmeldeformular nicht identisch sind, gib bitte den Namen des Teilnehmers im Anmeldeformular im letzten Schritt der Zahlungsprozedur an. Eine Zahlung gilt erst dann als geleistet, wenn wir diese eindeutig zuordnen können.
* PayPal ist nicht mit der WCA-Seite verknüpft. 3. Pay the registration fee

Without (clearly assigned) payment, the registration is not considered complete and will not be confirmed.

After you have filled out the registration form, you can enter your credit card details in the same window.
The payment is made via the payment service provider Stripe and is automatically assigned to your registration.

Important for PayPal payments:

* PayPal is not linked to the WCA site. Therefore the made payment will not be displayed on the WCA site.If the participant limit has already been reached, you will receive a place on the waiting list after registration and payment. You will then receive an email as soon as a spot becomes available for you. If you won't receive a free spot the registration fee will be refunded.
For guests:

Newcomer information
If this is your first WCA competition, please pay attention to the following:
According to Regulation 2e), all newcomers are required to bring some form of identification document that shows name, citizenship and date of birth.
All newcomers are urgently asked to attend the Tutorial (see schedule).
Every competitor should have read the official WCA regulations at least once before attending the competition! A more condensed version of the important regulations can be found at the WCA Competition Tutorial.
Don't be afraid: there will also be time to test the equipment (for example the official timing device, the Stackmat timer) and discuss the rules if you have questions at the competition.
Feel free to contact the organizer if you have any uncertainties.

Informationen für Neulinge
Falls dies dein erstes WCA Turnier sein sollte, beachte bitte die folgenden Punkte:
Alle Neulinge sind dazu verpflichtet ein Ausweisdokument an der Anmeldung vor zu zeigen (Regulation 2e)). Aus dem Dokument müssen Name, Nationalität und Geburtsdatum hervorgehen.
Alle Neulinge sind eindringlich gebeten, am Tutorial (siehe Zeitplan) teilzunehmen.
Jeder Teilnehmer sollte bereits vor der Meisterschaft mindestens einmal die offiziellen Regeln der WCA gelesen haben. Zusätzlich ist ein Blick in unsere Teilnehmer-Anleitung sowie das WCA Competition Tutorial mehr als ratsam für alle Neulinge!
Keine Angst: während des Turniers besteht die Möglichkeit, sich mit dem offiziellen Equipment (Stackmat-Timer) vertraut zu machen und Fragen zu stellen.
Bei wichtigen Fragen vor dem Turnier kannst du dich gerne an das Organisationsteam wenden.

By Car: be aware that parking is very limited in Eberstadt, so plan accordingly.
By Public transit: The venue is just 3 minutes by foot from the bus and tram stop Darmstadt-Eberstadt Wartehalle. From Darmstadt Luisenplatz you can get there in 16 minutes by taking the tram 8/6 Eberstadt or Alsbach which comes every 15 minutes.
The nearest train station is Eberstadt Bahnhof, Darmstadt which is serviced by the RB68/67 which runs between Frankfurt and Heidelberg. The train station is about 1.6km away and there's a bus (P and PE) to Darmstadt-Eberstadt Wartehalle every 30 minutes.
For up to date train schedules and trip planning you can visit DB and RMV.

Mit dem Auto: in Eberstadt gibt es wenige Möglichkeiten zum Parken, plant am besten im voraus wo ihr Parken wollt.
Mit ÖPNV: Von der Haltestelle Darmstadt-Eberstadt Wartehalle sind es nur 3 minuten zu Fuß zum Ernst-Ludwig-Saal. Von Darmstadt Luisenplatz fährt alle 15 Minuten die Tram 8 Eberstadt und Alsbach zu Eberstadt Wartehalle, die Fahrt dauert dann ca. 16 Minuten.
Ansonsten kann man auch nach Eberstadt Bahnhof, Darmstadt fahren, dort fährt die RB68/67 zwischen Frankfurt und Heidelberg. Dieser Bahnhof ist allerdings 1.6km entfernt und es fährt nur alle 30 minuten ein Bus (P oder PE).

The waiting list is updated manually. It might take a while until your name appears on the list after you have completed your registration (=registered and paid the fee).
Time limit
If you reach the time limit during your solve, the judge will stop you and your result will be DNF (see Regulation A1a4).
Cutoff
The result to beat to proceed to the second phase of a cutoff round (see Regulation 9g).
Format
The format describes how to determine the ranking of competitors based on their results. The list of allowed formats per event is described in Regulation 9b. See Regulation 9f for a description of each format.
