Tutorial para Jueces y Nuevos Competidores

Ofreceremos un tutorial para jueces y nuevos competidores el día del evento. Recomendamos encarecidamente la asistencia de todos los competidores nuevos, así como de cualquier persona (competidor o invitado) interesada en aprender a ser juez.

Apoyo como Juez en Rondas Finales

Necesitaremos la ayuda de todos para juecear en las segundas y últimas rondas, ya que no es posible asignar estos grupos con anticipación. Invitamos a los espectadores y acompañantes a aprender; no se necesita saber resolver los cubos para ser un excelente juez. Contar con suficientes jueces es crucial para cumplir con el cronograma y terminar a tiempo.

Important Information for All Competitors

On the day of the event, each competitor will receive a name badge with personalized information about their events and assigned judging responsibilities.

In accordance with WCA Regulation 1e2, "every competitor must be available to judge." The success and timeliness of the competition depend on the support of all participants acting as volunteer judges.

Tutorial for Judges and New Competitors

We will offer a tutorial for judges and new competitors on the day of the event. We strongly encourage all new competitors to attend, as well as any other individuals (competitors or guests) interested in learning how to judge.

Judging Support for Final Rounds

We will need everyone's help with judging for the second and final rounds, as it is not possible to assign these groups in advance. We invite guests and spectators to learn; you do not need to know how to solve the puzzles to be an excellent judge. Having enough judges is crucial to staying on schedule and finishing on time.

Inscripción y Registro

1. ¿Cómo me inscribo en la competencia?

2. ¿Puedo inscribirme el día del evento?

4. ¿Qué tan rápido debo ser para poder competir?
¡No hay un requisito de velocidad! En las competencias de la WCA, tu principal competidor eres tú mismo. Si sabes resolver un cubo y quieres vivir la experiencia, eres más que bienvenido.

5. ¿Hay categorías por edad?
No. En las competencias de la WCA, todos los participantes compiten en un único grupo general, sin importar la edad.

6. ¿Puedo asistir solo como espectador?

Registration

1. How do I register for the competition?
The registration process is handled through the WCA website. If it's your first time, we recommend watching this video tutorial that will guide you step-by-step: Watch Registration Tutorial.

2. Can I register at the door?
No. All registrations must be completed and paid for online before the deadline. On-site registrations will not be accepted on the day of the event.

3. Do I have to compete in all events?
Not at all. You can register for any combination of events you like, from just one up to the maximum allowed by your registration fee.

For New Competitors & Guests

4. How fast do I need to be to compete?
There is no speed requirement! In WCA competitions, your biggest competitor is yourself. If you know how to solve a puzzle and want to experience the event, you are more than welcome.

5. Are there age divisions?
No. All competitors at WCA events compete in a single, open group, regardless of age.

6. Can I attend just to watch?
Of course! Spectators and guests are more than welcome at the Cube Days at SEK 2026. There is no fee for spectators.

During the Competition

7. Do I have to be present for the entire tournament?
It is not necessary. The schedule is designed so you don't have to be there all day. However, it is your responsibility to be at your competing station at least 15 minutes before the scheduled start time for your events.

8. Do I need to bring my own puzzles?
Yes. Each competitor must bring their own puzzles for the events they are registered in. The organization will not provide puzzles.

9. Where can I see the results?

10. How can I help during the event?
