Costa Rica Nationals 2026: Información de Inscripción

El Costa Rica Nationals 2026 está abierto a competidores de cualquier nacionalidad. Para competir, es indispensable registrarse y completar el proceso de pago.

Por favor, lee con atención las siguientes instrucciones.

Notas Importantes

• Fecha Límite de Inscripción: Lunes, 30 de noviembre de 2026, a la media noche. (Nota: El cierre es al menos 20 días antes de la competencia por motivos de organización).
• Pago Requerido: La inscripción se realiza en el sitio web de la WCA, pero tu nombre solo aparecerá en la lista oficial de competidores después de que tu pago haya sido realizado y confirmado.

Procedimiento de Inscripción

Paso 1: Inscríbete en el sitio web de la WCA

• Ve a la pestaña Register en la página oficial de la competencia.
• Inicia sesión con tu perfil de la WCA para seleccionar las categorías en las que deseas competir.
• Por favor, elige tus categorías con cuidado. Presta atención a los formatos de ronda, cortes y límites de tiempo descritos en el cronograma.

Paso 2: Realiza el pago de la inscripción

• El costo de la inscripción se basa en el número de categorías que elijas (ver la tabla de costos más abajo).
• Escoge uno de los métodos de pago que se detallan a continuación:

Costos de Inscripción

• ¢ 8.000: Incluye la participación en hasta 4 categorías.
• ¢ 10.000: Incluye la participación en hasta 7 categorías.
• ¢12.000: Incluye la participación en hasta 14 categorías.

Importante:
Si por alguna razón realizas tu inscripción después de la fecha límite del 30 de noviembre, se aplicará un recargo adicional de ¢3.000 aprox. ($6) sobre la tarifa correspondiente a la cantidad de categorías elegidas.

Notes: Pago de la cuota de inscripción (Inscripción Anticipada)

Si realizas tu inscripción con un mes de anticipación (a más tardar el 19 de noviembre), la cuota se calculará según la cantidad de eventos en los que participes:

¢7.000 aprox. ($14): Incluye participación en hasta 4 eventos.
¢9.000 aprox. ($18): Incluye participación en hasta 7 eventos.
¢11.000 aprox. ($22): Incluye participación en hasta 14 eventos.

Los competidores internacionales tienen dos opciones:

1. PayPal:

   • Puedes pagar en efectivo el día del torneo. Para usar esta opción, por favor notifícalo previamente a los organizadores enviando un correo a tiendabekubes@gmail.com. Si no realiza el pago de la competencia sus resultados podrían no ser considerados

Paso 3: Envía la confirmación de tu pago

• Una vez realizado el pago, debes enviar un correo de confirmación a tiendabekubes@gmail.com o al whatsapp (506) 8728-6926 con una foto o captura de pantalla del comprobante de pago.
• El correo o whatsapp debe incluir la siguiente información:
  • Nombre completo
  • Fecha de nacimiento
  • Lista de categorías en las que te inscribiste
  • Foto del depósito o comprobante de la transferencia

Después de enviar el whatsapp o correo, espera a que tu inscripción sea aprobada (esto puede tardar hasta 24 horas). Una vez aprobada, podrás verificar que tu nombre aparece en la lista oficial de competidores en la página de la WCA.

​Costa Rica Nationals 2026: Registration Information

The Costa Rica Nationals 2026 is open to competitors of any nationality. To compete, you must register and complete the payment process.

Please read the following instructions carefully.

Important Notes

• Registration Deadline: Friday, November 30, 2026, at Midnight. (Note: The deadline is 20 days before the competition to allow for organization).
• Payment Required: Registration is done through the WCA website, but your name will only appear on the official competitor list after your payment has been made and confirmed.

Registration Procedure

Step 1: Register on the WCA Website

• Go to the Register tab on the official competition page.

• Log in with your WCA profile to select the events you wish to compete in.

• Please choose your events carefully. Pay close attention to the round formats, cutoffs, and time limits described in the schedule.

  Step 2: Pay the Registration Fee

• The registration fee is based on the number of events you sign up for.

  • ¢ 8,000 aprox. ($16): Includes participation in up to 4 events.
  • ¢ 10,000 aprox. ($20): Includes participation in up to 7 events.
  • ¢12,000 aprox. ($24): Includes participation in up to 14 events.

International competitors have two options:

   • You may pay in cash on the day of the tournament. Please email the organizers at tiendabekubes@gmail.com beforehand to notify them you will be using this option. If you didn´t pay the fee for the competition teh results will be not considered.

Step 3: Send Your Payment Confirmation

• Once payment is made, you must send a confirmation email to tiendabekubes@gmail.com or whatsapp number +506 8728-6926 with a photo or screenshot of your proof of payment.
• The email must include the following information:
  • Full Name
  • Date of Birth
  • List of Registered Events
  • Photo of the deposit or transfer receipt

After sending the email, please wait for your registration to be approved (this may take up to 24 hours). Once approved, you can verify that your name is on the official competitor list on the WCA page.

Información Importante para Todos los Competidores

El día del evento, cada participante recibirá un gafete con información personalizada sobre sus eventos y las responsabilidades que se le han asignado.

De acuerdo con la Regulación 1e2 de la WCA, "todo competidor debe estar disponible para ser juez". El éxito y la puntualidad de la competencia dependen del apoyo de todos los participantes actuando como jueces voluntarios.

Tutorial para Jueces y Nuevos Competidores

Ofreceremos un tutorial para jueces y nuevos competidores el día del evento. Recomendamos encarecidamente la asistencia de todos los competidores nuevos, así como de cualquier persona (competidor o invitado) interesada en aprender a ser juez.

Apoyo como Juez en Rondas Finales

Necesitaremos la ayuda de todos para juecear en las segundas y últimas rondas, ya que no es posible asignar estos grupos con anticipación. Invitamos a los espectadores y acompañantes a aprender; no se necesita saber resolver los cubos para ser un excelente juez. Contar con suficientes jueces es crucial para cumplir con el cronograma y terminar a tiempo.

Si esta es tu primera vez compitiendo, ¡nos alegra tenerte aquí! Queremos que sepas que este evento es para personas de todas las edades y niveles de experiencia. Para asegurar que tengas la mejor vivencia posible, solo te pedimos tener en cuenta lo siguiente:

• Familiarízate con el Reglamento: Es fundamental que leas y entiendas las Regulaciones de la WCA antes del evento.

• Regístrate: Cuando estés listo, dirígete a la pestaña de Inscripción. Completa la información solicitada para asegurar tu lugar. ¡Estás a un paso de tu primera competencia oficial!

Important Information for All Competitors

On the day of the event, each competitor will receive a name badge with personalized information about their events and assigned judging responsibilities.

In accordance with Regulación 1e2 de la WCA, "every competitor must be available to judge." The success and timeliness of the competition depend on the support of all participants acting as volunteer judges.

Tutorial for Judges and New Competitors

We will offer a tutorial for judges and new competitors on the day of the event. We strongly encourage all new competitors to attend, as well as any other individuals (competitors or guests) interested in learning how to judge.

Judging Support for Final Rounds

We will need everyone's help with judging for the second and final rounds, as it is not possible to assign these groups in advance. We invite guests and spectators to learn; you do not need to know how to solve the puzzles to be an excellent judge. Having enough judges is crucial to staying on schedule and finishing on time.

Welcome to Your First Competition!

If this is your first time competing, we're thrilled to have you! We want you to know this event is for people of all ages and experience levels. To ensure you have the best possible experience, we just ask that you keep the following in mind:

• Familiarize Yourself with the Regulations: It is essential that you read and understand the WCA Regulations before the event.

• Attend the Tutorial: Don't miss the new competitor tutorial. It will help you feel much more comfortable and prepared.

• Register: When you're ready, head to the Register tab. Complete the required information to secure your spot. You're one step closer to your first official WCA competition!

Preguntas Frecuentes – Costa Rica Nationals 2026

Inscripción y Registro

1. ¿Cómo me inscribo en la competencia?
El proceso de inscripción se realiza en la página de la WCA. Si es tu primera vez, te recomendamos seguir este video tutorial que te guiará paso a paso: Ver Tutorial de Inscripción.

2. ¿Puedo inscribirme el día del evento?
No. Todas las inscripciones deben completarse y pagarse en línea antes de la fecha límite. No se aceptarán inscripciones el día de la competencia.

3. ¿Necesito competir en todas las categorías?
No, en absoluto. Puedes inscribirte en la combinación de categorías que prefieras, desde una hasta las que te permita tu cuota de inscripción.

Para Nuevos Competidores y Espectadores

4. ¿Qué tan rápido debo ser para poder competir?
¡No hay un requisito de velocidad! En las competencias de la WCA, tu principal competidor eres tú mismo. Si sabes resolver un cubo y quieres vivir la experiencia, eres más que bienvenido.

5. ¿Hay categorías por edad?
No. En las competencias de la WCA, todos los participantes compiten en un único grupo general, sin importar la edad.

6. ¿Puedo asistir solo como espectador?
¡Por supuesto! Los espectadores y acompañantes son bienvenidos en el Costa Rica Nationals 2026. La entrada para ellos es completamente gratuita.

Durante la Competencia

7. ¿Debo estar presente durante todo el torneo?
No es necesario. El cronograma está diseñado para que no tengas que estar todo el día. Sin embargo, es tu responsabilidad presentarte en tu estación de competencia al menos 15 minutos antes de la hora de inicio programada para tus eventos.

8. ¿Tengo que llevar mis propios cubos?
Sí. Cada competidor debe traer sus propios puzzles para las categorías en las que participa. La organización no proporcionará cubos.

9. ¿Dónde puedo ver los resultados?
Los resultados se publicarán en tiempo real en WCA Live. El día del evento, busca la competencia "Costa Rica Nationals 2026" en este enlace: live.worldcubeassociation.org.

10. ¿Cómo puedo ayudar durante el evento?
¡Toda ayuda es bienvenida! Siempre necesitamos voluntarios para juecear, mezclar cubos (scrambling) o llevarlos a las estaciones (running). Si quieres ayudar, acércate a cualquier miembro del staff. Ofreceremos un tutorial para aprender estas funciones al inicio del día.

Registration

1. How do I register for the competition?
The registration process is handled through the WCA website. If it's your first time, we recommend watching this video tutorial that will guide you step-by-step: Watch Registration Tutorial.

2. Can I register at the door?
No. All registrations must be completed and paid for online before the deadline. On-site registrations will not be accepted on the day of the event.

3. Do I have to compete in all events?
Not at all. You can register for any combination of events you like, from just one up to the maximum allowed by your registration fee.

For New Competitors & Guests

4. How fast do I need to be to compete?
There is no speed requirement! In WCA competitions, your biggest competitor is yourself. If you know how to solve a puzzle and want to experience the event, you are more than welcome.

5. Are there age divisions?
No. All competitors at WCA events compete in a single, open group, regardless of age.

6. Can I attend just to watch?
Of course! Spectators and guests are more than welcome at the Costa Rica Nationals 2026. There is no fee for spectators.

During the Competition

7. Do I have to be present for the entire tournament?
It is not necessary. The schedule is designed so you don't have to be there all day. However, it is your responsibility to be at your competing station at least 15 minutes before the scheduled start time for your events.

8. Do I need to bring my own puzzles?
Yes. Each competitor must bring their own puzzles for the events they are registered in. The organization will not provide puzzles.

9. Where can I see the results?
Live results will be posted on WCA Live. On the day of the competition, look for the "Costa Rica Nationals 2026" event at this link: live.worldcubeassociation.org.

10. How can I help during the event?
All help is greatly appreciated! We can always use extra hands for judging, scrambling, or running. If you want to help, just approach any staff member. We will provide a tutorial on these roles at the beginning of the day.
