CubingZA is excited to announce Benoni May Madness 2026!! Don't forget that to participate you need to register for the competition in the "Register" tab, and pay for your ticket to confirm your entry. Please see Registration Requirements below for instructions and when registration opens.
We will be having an odd mix of main, side and blind events in this One Day, One Stop, All-Out Total Non-Stop Action-Based Competition so be sure to stick around for all sorts of weird and unique tastes of skill, fortitude and perseverance!!
All New Competitors
If this is your first time competing, or the first time your child or ward is competing, please ensure to bring with ID (card, book, passport, birth certificate) so that we can verify that the name is spelled correctly, the Date of Birth is correct, and the Nationality is correct.
Please also ensure you have all the puzzles you need to compete - we do not supply puzzles for competitors. You are welcome to ask other competitors if you can borrow their puzzle for a certain event, but there is no guarantee.Food and Drinks
Mova Coffee and Sweet N' Sweet will be available from the morning selling food and drinks. They will be around for the duration of the competition so be sure to get your food in between rounds and during lunch because part of being your own champion is competing at your best and not on an empty stomach!!!

There is a competitor limit of 60 competitors.
The base registration fee for this competition is R150 (South African Rand).
If your registration is cancelled before you will be refunded 50% of your registration fee.
Registrants on the waiting list may be accepted onto the competitor list until .
If you are a registered competitor you may change your registered events until on the Register tab.
On the spot registrations will be accepted if there are remaining spots available, with a base registration fee of R200 (South African Rand).

Please note that there are THREE steps you need to take to be entered into this competition:
1. First-timer competitors must create a WCA account if they do not already have one (or their parent/guardian must create one for them).
2. The competitor must register for the competition using their WCA account, specifying which events they want to participate in.
3. Credit and Debit Card payments for the competition entry fee of R150.00 can be made at the the following link.
