Covid-19 precautions will be implemented in the competition, and we ask the competitors and guests to be sensitive about these issues.

• It is mandatory to use a mask in the competition area.
• Competitors should bring their own pens.
• In the competition venue, disinfectant and wet wipes will be provided by us and we recommend using them as much as possible.
• We recommend keeping the interaction with other competitors and cubes to a minimum.
• We ask you to pay attention to the social distance issue.
• No guests will be admitted to the competition area other than the competitor, and guests will be hosted on the outside reserved for them.
• No one will be allowed to enter the competition area if they are showing signs of illness.
• During the competition, competitors and guests are required to comply with the precautions announced by the General Directorate of Public Health (Hıfzıssıha). Otherwise, they will be disqualified from the competition and exported from the competition area. You can find it here.
• During the competition, the competitors and guests accept all responsibility . The competition organization does not accept responsibility for any health problems that may occur if they do not comply with the Covid-19 precautions.

Soru: Hangi Covid güvenlik önlemleri alınacak?
Alınacak olan güvenlik önlemleri aşağıdaki gibidir:
-El hijyeni doğrultusunda yarışma mekanı içerisinde el dezenfektanları ve
-Yoğun temizlik rutini .
Eğer;
-Covid semptomlarının herhangi birini gösteriyorsanız,
-Sağlık bakanlığı tarafından karantinaya girmeniz söylenmişse ve
-Covid-19 test sonucu bekliyorsanız yarışmaya katılmamalısınız.

Soru: Katılımcı sınırı olacak mı?

Soru: Maske takmam zorunlu mu?
Evet. Maske kullanımı 8 yaş üstü bütün katılımcı ve misafirler için zorunludur.

Maske getirmeniz zorunludur ama dezenfektan ihtiyacı yarışma yerinde sağlanacaktır.

Q. How can I change my events?
You may change your registered events on the “Register” tab. All changes must be done by 13/03/2022.

Q. How old do I have to be to compete?
Anyone can compete at any age! We encourage anyone considering to compete to register as it will be a great experience regardless of age.

Q. How fast do I have to be to compete?
To compete you only need to know how to solve the cube! Please check the events tab for information in time limits for each event.

Q. What do I need to know before the competition day?
Before attending you should have read and understood the WCA rules . We also recommend that you watch this helpful competitor competition guide and read this competition tutorial. You should also know when your events are scheduled throughout the day.

Q. How do I find out if I've progressed to the second round?
Times will be uploaded through the day. Please allow up to an hour from finishing your solves to them being uploaded. After all the times of a round has been entered, you can see if you are in the following round.

Q. Who can I ask for help on the day?

COVID-19 FAQ

Q. What COVID safety protocols will be in place?
The organisers have put together a COVID safety plan.
- There will be an increased focus on hand hygiene and maintaining social distancing, hand sanitiser will be available throughout the venue.
- There will be an increased cleaning regime.

You MUST NOT attend if you are:
- unwell with any COVID symptoms
- been directed to isolate by the Department of Health
- awaiting the results of a COVID-19 test

Q. Will there be an attendee limit at this competition?
There is an attendee limit of 60. Due to Covid-19, we can accept 1 guest per competitor so that it is not crowded. We would like parents to show sensitivity in this matter.

Q. Do I have to wear a face mask?
- Yes. Face masks are required for all competitors and guests over 8 years of age.

Q. Can I bring my own face mask and/or hand sanitiser?
Yes, you must bring your own face mask. Hand sanitiser will be provided at the venue.

Q. Can I still borrow some one else's puzzles?
We advise against sharing of puzzles.
Please make sure your puzzles are legal for competition, especially for events such as 3x3 blindfolded (no logos!). All of the information regarding cube legality can be found in the WCA Regulations. If you are unsure about this please don't hesitate to contact the organisers with any questions.
