Information

In honor of Pride month, all proceeds from this competition (after expenses have been paid for) will be donated to The Trevor Project.

All donations added alongside registration fees will be donated to The Trevor Project, but if you would like to make your own personal donation, you can click the link here.

  • Registrants will be accepted in the order that they pay, not the order that they register. Please be patient with us as we manually accept all eligible competitors.
  • Competitors may only bring one guest maximum.

Competition Day Timing
- The competition will begin at the scheduled start time.
- Lunch will end at the scheduled time.
- Events will begin as soon as the previous event is wrapping up. Exception: All First Round events will not start more than 20 minutes early.
- Competitors may not compete in an event if they miss last call for that event. In general, last call is a few minutes after the last group is called.

Due to venue space, please try and limit your guest count to no more than one person (not including the competitor themselves.

There is a competitor limit of 175 competitors.
The base registration fee for this competition is $30 (United States Dollar).
If your registration is cancelled before you will be refunded 50% of your registration fee.
Registrants on the waiting list may be accepted onto the competitor list until .
If you are a registered competitor you may change your registered events until by contacting the organization team.
No on the spot registrations will be accepted.


Payment:

Upon registering you will receive an email stating “Your registration for Bay Area Speedcubin' 47 - Berkeley Pride 2023 is submitted and pending approval”. This does NOT mean that you are on the registration list. Competitors will not be approved until payment has been made.

Please ensure you have paid the registration fees via Stripe on the register page. Your registration is not complete and will not be processed until you have paid the registration fee. Contact the organizational team if you encounter an issue.

Waiting List:

  • Once the competitor limit has filled, the waiting list will be opened.
  • You must pay the registration fee to be added to the waiting list.
  • New registrations will be added to a waitlist and sorted in the order of payment.
  • Waitlisted competitors will only be added to the competition if an existing competitors withdraws.
  • All competitors still on the waiting list after Friday, May 26, 2023 at 11:59 PM will be removed and provided with a full refund.
  • You may enquire about your position on the waiting list by contacting the organizational team.

Deleting Registration/Refunds:

  • If you can no longer make the competition you may request a refund.
  • To receive a partial refund you must contact the organizational team by Friday, May 26, 2023 at 11:59 PM.
  • Withdrawing enables us to maximize attendance and for competitors on the waiting list to attend.

You may change the events you are registered for by contacting the organizational team by Friday, May 26, 2023 at 11:59 PM. After this date it is not possible to add further events. It is also acceptable to not show up for any event you do not wish to compete in.

In the registration comments, please put the pronouns you would like displayed on your nametag. If you do not wish to have pronouns on your name tag please indicate this in your comment, but please be respectful to those that do.
