Information

General Information

This competition will take place as part of the Arnold Classic Sport Festival. Please note that due to the nature of the festival the venue will be extremely noisy, and this is outside of our control. The competition will be taking place in a large tent, and it is June, so dress warmly.

Competitor Tickets

Please register for the competition and select your events here, and then pay for your registration at:

Tickets for competitors cost R200, which includes access to the rest of the expo and sport festival.

Guests

Spectators are welcome, but will need to pay for entrance to the expo. Tickets can be bought online through WebTickets or paid for at the door. Various pricing options are available depending on whether you wish to attend for the whole weekend or just one day.

Volunteering

We will require volunteers to support with running and judging on the day. If you would like to volunteer to help staff at the competition, please contact the organisers. Groups will be assigned so that volunteer duties don't clash with your competing.

There is a competitor limit of 100 competitors.
The base registration fee for this competition is R200 (South African Rand).
Registration fees won't be refunded under any circumstance.
Registrants on the waiting list may be accepted onto the competitor list until .
If you are a registered competitor you may change your registered events until on the Register tab.
On the spot registrations will be accepted with a base registration fee of R200 (South African Rand).
Spectators can attend paying an entry fee of R150 (South African Rand).

Payment

Competitors must register on the WCA website AND purchase a Speed Cubing ticket through Quicket for the registration to be completed.

Those who register will first be placed on a waiting list. Once the payment has been confirmed through Quicket, the registration will be approved.

Competitors who wish to register on the spot on the day of the competition may do so provided the competitor limit has not been reached. If you purchase a ticket before midnight Thursday 26 May, then you will be sent a free ticket for entrance to the Arnolds Classic festival. On the spot registrations and registration after 26 May are allowed, but you will then be required pay separately to enter the sport festival in addition to purchasing the ticket through Quicket.
