This competition is recognized as an official World Cube Association competition. This is the first competition in Belize.
The competition is open to all competitors of all nationalities. Registration is available on the WCA website. No experience in WCA competitions is necessary, but competitors should be familiar with the WCA Regulations

There is a competitor limit of 120 competitors.
The base registration fee for this competition is $20 (Belize Dollar).
If your registration is cancelled before you will be refunded 100% of your registration fee.
Registrants on the waiting list may be accepted onto the competitor list until .
If you are a registered competitor you may change your registered events until on the Register tab.
No on the spot registrations will be accepted.
You Better Belize It! 2023 will be the first official competition in the country!
Registration is done in the "Register" tab of this page, but only the person who has made the payment and notified to the contact email will appear on the list.

Things to Do in Punta Gorda
Effective July 12, 2022, travellers are no longer required to show proof of vaccination for entry into Belize's airport, land borders or sea ports
All competitors must be famililar with the WCA Regulations. Participants are expected to know WCA's regulations before attending an official competition.
When you arrive, There will be a table inside the venue where you will find a nametag with personalized information detailing your events and what group you will be competing in for each event. In addition, you will also have judging assignments on your card. Every competitor is expected to help out during the event(s) they are registered for.

DONATE CUBES TO BELIZE! Nonprofit Cubing Enrichment Opportunities will be shipping cubes to schools in Belize weekly through the end of January, and letting Belizean families know to get their kids signed up!
Anthony Brooks (delegate) and Kristin Wiley (organizer) have family/ heritage in Belize.
Cubing Enrichment Opportunities will be hosting a 4-day cubing program in Belize prior to the competition. More information on the program will become available on her website.
Time limit
If you reach the time limit during your solve, the judge will stop you and your result will be DNF (see Regulation A1a4).
Cutoff
The result to beat to proceed to the second phase of a cutoff round (see Regulation 9g).
Format
The format describes how to determine the ranking of competitors based on their results. The list of allowed formats per event is described in Regulation 9b. See Regulation 9f for a description of each format.
