ALL COMPETITORS MUST READ THIS TAB BEFORE REGISTERING.

FOR FIRST-TIME COMPETITORS:
There are multiple things a first-timer must know before competing. All newcomers must be familiar with the WCA Regulations before competing. There is a video here for the basic overview of the rules.

In addition, please read this document before coming to the competition to learn about the procedures for judging. Thanks to Olivér Perge and Niki Placskó for providing this detailed judging information document.

ALL COMPETITORS:
When you arrive, you will receive a card/nametag with personalized information detailing your events and what group you will be competing in for each event. In addition, you will also receive staffing assignments. All competitors are expected to help at this competition. For each event you sign up for, you will be assigned to help out either one group of that event or a group of a different event. If you do not arrive to help during your scheduled event, and there are not enough staff members, we reserve the right to disqualify you from competing.

Please note that the schedule for the competition as posted is not final, and will change greatly depending on what events people register for.

We will provide a judging tutorial at the beginning of the day, right before the start of the 3x3 Round 1 event. This will allow anyone with questions about how to judge to be properly prepared when they are expected to help. We hope that this system will fairly divide up the judging of the competition and make the competition run smoothly for all.

Venue

This competition will be held at the Alki Masonic Center in the Dining Room which is located in the lower level of the building; entrance is at the parking lot level. FMC and Blind events will take place in the lodge room upstairs, access is via the dining room.

Travel

Alki Masonic Center is located east of the West Seattle Junction, in the same block as the Whittaker complex. There is free but limited parking next to the venue, street parking is available in the general area. Parking lot access is via SW Edmunds St.

This competition will be sponsored by TheCubicle.us! Thanks so much to them for their continued support.

Due to the nature of this event, we will determine gift card prizes based upon registration totals once registration closes. Everyone with a podium result will receive a prize of some sort. Generally, events with more registered competitors or higher levels of competition will have larger prizes!
