Blindfolded Events Only
The only events at this competition are blindfolded events, which require a significant amount of practice and concentration. All attendees, including competitors and guests, are asked to please remain quiet at this competition to allow competitors to concentrate.
FMC World 2026
FMC World 2026 (Waterloo location) will take place at the same venue. If you are registering for both competitions, you must register for each competition separately.
Note for New Competitors
Although first-timers are welcome to compete if they know how to solve puzzles blindfolded (please note Regulation 2k6), this might not be the best experience for new competitors. Please consider registering for another competition if this one isn't for you.
Mailing List
Please follow Speedcubing Canada on social media and/or join our mailing list to keep up-to-date on competition announcements. Thank you for your patience during this time as we work to scale up to the exciting growth of the cubing community.

There is a competitor limit of 30 competitors.
Registering for this competition is free.
Registrants on the waiting list may be accepted onto the competitor list until .
We encourage everyone to register for the events they want to compete in via your online registration, however you may add events to your registration up until the event has started.
On the spot registrations will be accepted for free if there are remaining spots available.
Spectators are only permitted as companions of competitors.
Competitors may bring at most 1 guest.
Competitor List
Organizers manually accept registrations one at a time in the order the registrations are submitted, so your name might not appear on the competitor list immediately.
Once the competitor list reaches the 30 competitor limit, registrants will be added to the waiting list instead of the competitor list. Due to the competitor limit, completing your registration within the initial registration period does not guarantee you a spot on the competitor list.
On-Site Registration
We will only be accepting on-site registrations only if the competitor list has not reached its limit and a waiting list has not begun. If this is the case, competitors who did not register online may arrive at the competition before 5:00 PM to register on site.
Waiting List
The waiting list will start if the competitor limit is reached during the online registration period. The waiting list will be ordered based on the timestamp that registrants submit their registration. If you are added to the waiting list, you will be informed via email, and you can view the registration page to see your position on the waiting list.
If anyone on the competitor list deletes their registration, the person at the top of the waiting list will be moved to the competitor list. Registrants on the waiting list may email Speedcubing Canada at any time to forfeit their spot on the waiting list.
If the competitor list is full on June 17, 2026, the list will be finalized and we will not be accepting on-site registrations. If the competitor list fills up quickly, online registration could close earlier than the originally listed date (June 17, 2026). The waiting list will close at the same time that online registration closes.
Time limit
If you reach the time limit during your solve, the judge will stop you and your result will be DNF (see Regulation A1a4).
A cumulative time limit may be enforced across rounds (see Regulation A1a2).
Format
The format describes how to determine the ranking of competitors based on their results. The list of allowed formats per event is described in Regulation 9b. See Regulation 9f for a description of each format.
