To register in a given phase, you must qualify for at least one event by having achieved a strictly better result at a previous competition. If you currently don’t qualify for any events for an ongoing phase, you must wait until a later phase to register. You can only register for events that you already qualify for.

Additional events will not be added for you. If you register in phase 1 but have events that you only have a phase 3 qualification time for, you will have to manually add those events when phase 3 opens.

Similarly, you must manually add new events if you qualify for them after your initial registration. Once the results from that competition have been posted, you can add them to your registration on the register tab.

The final day to achieve results counting towards qualification for events is May 23rd 2027.

All phase opening and closing times occur at 15:00 CET.
An average result (except where single is explicitly stated), which is strictly better than the qualification result, is required to qualify.

Volunteers are what makes the MoYu WCA World Championship 2027 possible! We will require hundreds of stage volunteers (judges, runners, scramblers etc) for the competition to run efficiently, but there are also many other roles available.

Volunteers who submit their application before November 22nd and get accepted will receive the following perks:

• Priority registration
  • You will have the chance to register early before the last phase of registration opens (between Phases 2 and 3).
  • Note that using the (optional) priority registration path ties your registration to your volunteer duties, meaning that your volunteer duties can’t be cancelled unless you also cancel your registration.
• Discounted front-row spectator seating via a volunteer pre-sale expected to launch December 27th 2026. Links will be provided at a later date.
• Early access to hotel rooms in the Arena hotel (Arenahotellet) (hotel next to the venue)

All volunteer members will receive the following perks:

• Refunded registration fee (after the competition if you complete your tasks).
• Lunch for each day of the competition
• Fika & Snacks throughout the competition
• Volunteer t-shirts

All spectators and guests will require an entry ticket to enter IFU Arena during the MoYu WCA World Championship 2027.
In addition, everyone (including competitors, volunteers, spectators, guests etc) will be required to have a day specific finals ticket if they want to spectate finals live in Hall A that evening.

More information, as well as a link to the ticket purchasing website, will be available here soon. General entry ticket sales are expected to launch on January 10th 2027.

Competitors and accepted volunteers will be able to reserve day specific finals tickets at a subsidized price of SEK 10 per night. The subsidized ticket sales period is expected to launch on December 27th 2026. The number of subsidized final tickets are limited, first come first served.

The MoYu WCA World Championship 2027 will take place in Uppsala, in collaboration with Uppsala Destination & Event! Being Sweden's fourth largest city, Uppsala is an excellent host with a large selection of restaurants, hotels, sights and opportunities, as well as good communications to the rest of the country and the world, ensuring that all participants have a pleasant stay in the host city of Uppsala.
