There will be a 90 competitior limit. The entry fee will be a $25 flat fee. The fee is non-refundable. Competitors must sign up and pay online to be considered fully registered. Registration is online only. There will be Kilominx as an unoffical event, and if you would like to sign up for that you can either let us know via email or on the day of the competition.

-----DEFINITIONS-----

Cut-Off - this is the "soft" cut-off. For an Average of 5, one of your first two solves must be under the given time in order to complete the solve. For a Mean of 3, your first solve must be under the given time. If this is not the case, then you cannot complete your average/mean. There is no cut-off for 3x3, 2x2, or 3x3 blindfolded rounds.

Time Limit - This is the "hard" cut-off. You must complete your solve under the given time or else you will be stopped and given a DNF (Did Not Finish) for this solve. This rule applies to all solves of a specific event, whether it be the first or last solve of an average/mean.

  • The competition is being held at the Colorado Springs Shrine Club.
  • Parking is free
  • The closest airport is the Colorado Springs Airport, which is a 22 minute drive to the venue.
  • The closest hotels are: the Hotel San Ayre, which is a 2 minute walk to the venue, The Mecca Motel, which is a 1 minute drive or 8 minute walk to the venue, The High Country Lodge, which is a 2 minute drive or 10 minute walk, and the Garden of the Gods Motel, which is a 2 minute drive or 11 minute walk.
  • The closest restaurants are: Dominos Pizza, which is right next door to the venue, Sonic, which is across the street from the venue, Margo's Vienna Station, which is a 5 minute walk from the venue, and Amanda's Fonda, which is a 9 minute walk from the venue. There is also a Safeway across the street. The venue is conveniently located close to both Old Colorado City and Manitou Springs, where you will find many shops and restaurants within walking distance of each other.

Once I receive an email from you I will send you a invoice to pay through. All orders must be placed and paid for before midnight MST on Sunday, October 29th. If payment is not received before the order is placed on October 29th, your very cool swag will not be included in the order.

Time limit

If you reach the time limit during your solve, the judge will stop you and your result will be DNF (see Regulation A1a4).
A cumulative time limit may be enforced (see Regulation A1a2).

Cutoff

The result to beat to proceed to the second phase of a cutoff round (see Regulation 9g).

Format

The format describes how to determine the ranking of competitors based on their results. The list of allowed formats per event is described in Regulation 9b. See Regulation 9f for a description of each format.
